Taka’s Japanese Catering

We had the honor of hiring Chef Taka through this website called ThumbTack. We were looking for a private chef to cook for a party of 17 in a home we rented in the Hollywood Hills. We were all from out of state and Chef Taka was very accommodating and provided us with the best service. He responded promptly to my request for a quote and a sample menu, he accommodated our needs for dietary restrictions (1 gluten allergy, 1 gluten and vegetarian, 2 pregnant people that couldn’t eat anything raw). Everyone loved and enjoyed the cuisine he prepared for us.
The chef arrived promptly and on time. Everything was prepared so that he could fit the time frame we needed to get out of the house and go enjoy the LA night scene. Hiring a chef allowed us to get ready while dinner was being prepared and it was cheaper than going out to a restaurant and having to have a minimum amount spent with a set menu!
Chef Taka and his wife and helper were friendly and quick. Our kitchen was cleaned and all the dishes were washed and extra food stored in the fridge at the end of the night. Would highly recommend them! We enjoyed it a lot and I speak for all the girls in the bachelorette party!

I just had the pleasure of experiencing an amazing evening catered by Taka and his lovely wife. The service was superb and the food was absolutely amazing and so beautifully presented. It was literally the best catered meal I have ever had. I highly recommend his services and will most definitely be using his services in the future to wow my friends.
