The Margarita Man of Los Angeles

Love this company, never had a problem with them and my friends and I have used them for graduation parties, the super bowl and other get to gathers. Who doesn’t love a margarita machine

The machines are the HIT of the party and were great but as seen here (I should have checked first) the service is what is disappointing.
we ordered two machines — one worked great but the other had issues — it kept leaking brown liquid and so we had to keep towels around it for the party which was kind of gross, then the light on this machine telling us that it had low mix stayed on even though it had plenty in there… if it had not been leaking we may have made a different choice and let their machine just run out but we went ahead and made another batch thinking it was too low — needless to say it never ran out (had lots of extra still in there). We showed them the full batch (two wasted bottles of tequila) and they still had the audacity to charge me for the extra saying it was just a warning.
Just beware …

First off… The margarita machine was a hit at the party we gave my sister for graduating with her masters. I ordered the machine with an online reservation and everything went as planned. They delivered and explained how the machine works and how much tequila we needed… $ 175 for a one day rental that included and extra mix (margarita flavor) not bad. The day off the party I made the mix and turned the machine on and boom it starts to leak from the from spout. Called the company and one of the owners (Brett) answered… Explained the issue and he said he’ll be in the area shortly to fix the leak… Thirty minutes later he showed up and replaced a rubber gasket and problem solved before our guest arrived. I would recommend them to friends just make sure to test the machine up delivery.

To start — they were supposed to deliver the machine Saturday… they delivered without notice Friday and said they were closed Saturdays. The delivery guy was NOT nice or helpful.
The machine did not work well. We were told it would make frozen Margaritas 1 hour after plugging it in. 3 hours later (well into the party) the machine started producing iced beverages.
The company was supposed to call and let us know what time they would pick up the machine… No notice, they just stopped by on Sunday afternoon. When we mentioned to the guy during pick up they were to call first, he said «It’s okay, we’re here now.» NO, it isn’t okay. we were promised notice.
So in short, they’re unreliable, unpredictable and have shoddy equipment that produce’s mediocre quality drinks at best and only several hours after it’s supposed to.
Don’t waste your money. By the time the machine produced drinks worth drinking and with the amount of drinks served, we could have gone to a local bar and purchased the drinks retail and we’d have had money left over.
