What? Serious? I get to be the first to review Tosh.0? Serious?! I can only assume the reason for this turn of events to be a fear of live-television Unilocal-review mockery by the Tosh himself. It’s a risk I’m willing to take… Alright, so it was over a year ago that I actually *attended* the taping, but it still counts. As with a lot of the live tapings in LA, having a ticket really doesn’t guarantee you a spot in the audience. It’s first come, first serve, and those who just miss the cut-off are given a rain-check pass allowing them a swift sweep to the front of the line next time they come. Unless, of course, it’s the end of the season, in which case you’re screwed. The show itself goes by suuuper quick. It’s awesome on TV, ergo it’s duper-awesome in person. The space is incredibly crowded though — reaching past fire hazards, no doubt. They try to cram in as many people as possible, which, uh, that part wasn’t so fun. And you may end up standing the whole show. But it’s only a half-hour, and it’s pretty worth it. The studio is pretty swag, in this backlot in Culver City. Parking is a bit of an issue though, so you gotta get there reallly early, especially if ya don’t wanna be part of that dreaded line cut-off after waiting for an hour. The show ends in the evening, so you can go grab dinner in the area afterward. And I guess that’s about it…
