I’m always in this spot. The buttermilk donuts are the shit. The cinnamon rolls are flight! They always taste fresh as well, never old or stale like Yum Yum donuts.

Stopped by to grab a few ham+cheese bagels and turkey+cheese bagels Food here is so so… A squished bagel cut in ham with the meat and cheese heated in the microwave. Could easily do this at home Didn’t realize they were cash only so I made my order and asked where the closest atm was –across the street Told the lady Id be back, then ran across the street to get cash. Got back, turns out they STOPPED making my food because I’d left… Even though I’d told them where I was going. Ended up spending half an hour trying to get 9 poorly put together bagels D: At least it was cheap? 2.85 each

First off it should be noted this place is CASH only. Moving on, this place is great. I brought a box of these in to my office after a rough week and received a number of comments about how these were better then Wenchell’s. Everything was fresh, very tasty and appropriately priced. The ladies behind the counter were very kind, and that can be difficult at that hour of the morning. Early in the morning there was plenty of parking in the lot it shares with the rest of the outlet mall. Next time I screw up, or things get crazy hectic at work I am definitely stopping by here again. Highly recommend.

Nice little Donuts shop locate at a small trip mall in corner of Venice blvd and Culver blvd. It had 6 small table for customers sat down with their coffee and donuts. The store also had a big screen TV above beverage refrigerator so customers could follow daily event while they enjoy their coffee and donuts.

So what bizznictches, ya got good muffins? Ya think ya got good muffins? It don’t matter none to me, k? I can get good muffins. It takes more than good muffins to roll a three or better on this donut list, son. Yeah, I see you stuff the cream cheese way down inside the muffin, not just a little bit on top, but son, it’s yo attitude that I really don’t like. Don’t be lookin’ at me like I’m carazy when I ask you if got croissants. I know they ain’t on display, but they could be in the back, homes. And if they aren’t, your ass best be bakin’ them, not up here on the cell. I guess that’s why you’re always out of what I want and why you’re slangin’ the same five donuts every time I come in this joint! Your ass best get bakin’(and I mean in the oven, boy!) ‘cos you been forsaken, fool. J9 out.

This is what a «donut» shop is all about, lots of fresh sugar based fried dough, mixed in a variety of ways. The two women behind the counter are extremely friendly but watch out, they won’t put up with your wise ass remarks and nonsense. I didn’t think I’d find a great donut shop in LA but US Doughnuts proved me wrong.

Normally, I’m not a big doughnut eater(I mean, I love them but I don’t let myself have them… often), but the other day it was rainy and I was stuck in traffic on Venice Blvd, I wasn’t rushing so I figured I pull over at the first sign of doughnuts and coffee, and I’m glad I did. I stumbled upon US Doughnuts. This location is kind of hard to get in and out of — it’s in the middle of a drab strip mall with a busy and cramped parking lot. The shop is sandwich between a Del Taco and and a Burger joint(that I may try after seeing a line of people getting breakfast). The store is small and very unimpressive, but they do have a decent selection of doughnuts. I ordered a old– fashion glaze and a Chocolate-Chocolate doughnut. The old-fashion glaze was very good — more substantial than a regular doughnut, with a creamy richness. The chocolate was soft, moist and very tasty as well. Two donuts were $ 1.50, which seems like a sweet price to me — that’s about the price of one specialty doughnut at Krispy Kreme. The patrons at the time were mostly guys, aimlessly hanging around, waiting for there moment to speak to the stars of the show. Ah, now I know why this place is a busy. A sexy, middle age and young hot Cambodian girl work behind the counter. Picture dudes with no game hanging around a strip club. The two women behind the counter were very friendly, very attractive and I will be back!

This place is like donut heaven to me. To me, it rocks harder than any chain donut establishment(YES — including the dreaded Krispy Kreme). It isn’t the nicest place, so it’s definitely not the type of place you’d want to meet up with buddies and chat over a leisurely donut or two. But, if you are hungover on a Saturday morning /have an inexplicable fried dough craving /need a dozen for a family or work party /baby mama has a 1am donut urge, this is your spot. It’s better to go in the morning than in the afternoon, as the selection starts to dwindle after about noon. I usually get the jelly donut — my favorite — and holy mama, it is heaven. Red, rasberried goodness oozing out of a meaty, perfectly portioned and textured pillow of dough. We’ve also have had the chocolate frosted, toasted coconut, and glazed donuts. A must try if you’re around the Culver City /Palms area. Cash only. PROS: — Awesome, nice-sized donuts!!! — Cheap(70 cents /donut) — Good variety of flavors until about noon — I smile, wink, do the macarena, etc. @ the girls which compels them to always give me a free donut with my dozen for a total of 13(and count huge apple fritters as donuts with no surcharges) for only $ 6! Asian chicks dig me =) CONS: — Not such a pretty place to sit and read the morning paper — Located in a blech strip mall TIP: The sign actually says«US Donuts» not«US Doughnuts»

This place is Great. I think it’s actually US Donuts, but I don’t remember off the top of my head. Their doughnuts always seem to be fresh. I don’t know how they do it, whether they’re constantly making new one, or they just make them daily, or they don’t freeze the dough, or whatever, they always taste fresh. I’ve bought a dozen donut holes(my downfall) and they’ll still taste fresh the next day. The NEXTDAY!!! The people are really nice too. I usually end up with 14 instead of the 12 donut holes I order, and the last time I went I wanted 2 dozen because I was sharing with friends, and I think we took away 20 or more. There’s always a slightly strange contingent of people there because there’s a bus stop right there, a Quizno’s, a chinese restaurant, a Wendy’s and then your basic homeless and/or lonely people. They have other stuff besides donuts, like ham & cheese croissants, but, it’s a donut shop, who cares, really?(I hear they’re really tasty, though…)
