I received a LL Bean rain jacket for christmas, but iIneeded the arms taken up a bit. I was lucky enough to find Vaneyde’s. For the amount of work that involved taking up the sleeves, the price was just right. They will certainly have more of my business.

Incredible service! I would highly recommend Vaneyde’s and will definitely use them again. I needed a new suit tailored asap. I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning before work. It took less than 10 minutes for me to try on the suit, explain what I had in mind, and for the owner to take measurements and assess how she could alter it. They called me two days later to let me know it was ready for pickup, and I loved the fit.

This place is a jewel! And, now, it’s my go-to place for alterations.
I brought in my suit and my gf’s dress for alterations at around 4pm on a Friday. At 4:30, my gf’s agent called her with an audition call-back that required that dress on the following morning. So, I called Vaneyde’s in a panic and asked if she could expedite the dress alteration. «No problem,» said Carmen. She had it ready for us before 6pm on the same day! The alteration was perfect.
So was the alteration for my suit. The jacket fits like a glove now.
The shop is very neat and spacious. Carmen’s work is impeccable. The prices were very fair, too.

I took in a leather jacket and Carmen shortened the sleeves and made it look like it was made that way. I am so happy to have found a talented, craftsman quality tailor close by. The prices are fair and reasonable. (not cheap, but you get what you pay for I learned.) I will only use Vaneyde’s tailoring from now on.
