I love the Raw Meal formula and the soy proteins. Safe for my intestine and I feel great after drinking a raw meal shake. I also love the Raw protein and soy protein after my weight training. Always great deals and helpful employees :)

I walked in and asked for some protein shake. The girl showed me and looking at my skinny frame, offered me the Engorge, to increase my appetite — if she only knew… No thanks. Next, she offered me HMB. Cool, but no thanks. Then she offered me some vitamin A cream and gave me a sample. I put it on my face and it felt nice but I said I would check about it online(I like to read reviews of products). She offered me a freaking vitamin pill, I took it, made a face and said no thanks. Finally, we walked to the cashier. She showed me a shaker. I don’t have one, so, what the hell, I buy it. She said something about the cream and I said I will check it out. She offered me the membership and I accepted it. The counter was a bit high and I couldn’t see what she is doing nor where was my credit card, but I wasn’t worried. She gave me the bag and the receipt. I walked out and looked at the recipe. There was a charge for something I didn’t buy. I walked right back in. «Why was I charged for that cream?» I asked wondering if I was charged six dollars for trying on less than an ounce of cream. Her eyes opened wide as a kid’s eyes open wide when they are caught lying and she said, «Oh, you didn’t want it?» Did I freaking said I wanted it? At first, I thought, whatever, why not? Reviews aren’t reliable anyway plus the reviewer skin might be very different than mine. I said it was ok and left. I made a shake, which I was very happy with it, but I kept looking at that cream. Two hours later, I returned the shaker I didn’t intend to buy in the first place and the cream I wasn’t supposed to pay for at all. You see, there’s something called honesty and I still don’t think the salesperson(no idea her name, she is Hispanic, has long hair and a fairly bad skin complexion for someone trying to sell a vitamin A cream claiming that«it’s great») knows what it is. She just charged me for the cream and expected me to not notice. It was only 6 bucks, but was she really that desperate to make a sale so small? I will no longer go back to this Vitamin World, unless of course, I see that this dishonest woman isn’t working there anymore.

The prices are good and you can get some pretty good deals through their membership — coupons in the mail, buy one get one free, discounts on everything in the store, etc. Their selection covers just about everything you can think of. I have a problem with the service here. The associates essentially memorize the labels of the top selling products and often times, in an act of pure redundancy, they read the label to you. Verbatim. If they are not familiar with a product they consult a book and then try to sell you on it. Don’t try to sell me L-Carnitine and Devil’s Claw pills when you have no f*cking clue what they are.

Better prices than GNC when it comes to buying your vitamins and other supplements. And if you are a member, you can get some pretty good deals on their products. Always check when their products are on sale. I bought my melatonin here that helps me go to sleep.
