yeah, im just a housewife. one who builds things, does a little plumbing and a little electrical. and a sculptor. so i know a bit about tools but not everything. and i can ask a lot of questions after i look over a bunch of stuff (and they let me look at everything without making me feel bad for doing it). they listen and answer everything (super knowledgeable) and they dont talk out of the side of their neck. if they dont have it, they order it and call you when it arrives. and when i break it, they fix it quickly and at a very fair rate. yes, sometimes tools are cheaper at home depot, but some of those sometimes i pay the little difference and support a shop thats been around since i was a kid. you know, my husband shopped there forever, his dad shopped there, my dad shopped there. i love westwood power tools.

Great Service Some Special Deals But Generally Retail Prices
I’m a woodworker, so this place is heaven for me. Great professional grade tools. If you’re looking for cheap Ryobi or Rigid tools, head for Home Depot. But if you’re looking for quality tools like Porter Cable, Milwaukee, or Bosch, then this is the place for you.
They are a factory distributor, so they have parts and accessories that you won’t find in the big box stores.
The guys there are super knowledgeable and service.
Price can be an issue, and if you have a particular model in mind, it might be better for you to buy it on-​line, but if you want service that comes with the purchase and the tool, this is the place to go. They also often stock used tools, or close outs at ridiculously low prices.

This place has some great stuff, the tools are mostly for carpenters, i.e. wood saws, etc… They are small and local. The issue I have is — the owner will NOT budge on the price. I was purchasing over $ 1600 in new tools, three items. He wouldn’t budge on the price. So I ended up going somewhere else. Otherwise, they are great, I would just expect a place like this to offer a little price break on a local general contractor… oh well!
