This is a great store. They have an excellent selection of groceries, including some high end items. The wine and beer selection is great. We always buy from their meat and deli counters. We travel a lot and it’s very rare to find such a store in a vacation setting.

Culver, IN
Check the expiration dated on everything there! Food is often expired and they keep it on the shelves. Produce is often rotting or swarming with flies. They also sell expired dairy products but just reduce the price, so gross and unsafe. Food is way overpriced, I’m guessing because of the tourist industry in Culver. But if you’re going to overprice it at least make it quality food that isn’t expired. Also no organic produce at all and very limited organic options in the rest of the store. They are also often out of staple items. Ok to shop here for a last minute item, but otherwise you’re better off driving elsewhere.

The park in shop is your run of the mill grocery store. Things are sometimes much more expensive then at other places, but it is the price you pay for convenience because if you have to go to walmart or meijers, they are both over 20 minutes away. Sometimes only one person is working at the registers which means that occasionally you will be waiting for a while. Not a great meat section, but not the worst. Also, sometimes they have sales on things like blue bunny ice cream and such which is great! Overall 3.5 stars, but since I can’t rate a half, i’m leaning towards 4 since everything is more expensive in the area not just the park and shop.
