I love thrift shops and flea markets. Okay, admittedly this is a MAJOR understatement — hahaha! I am a thrifting addict, so what’s not to love about a thrift shop that benefits the the Allegany County Animal Shelter! Shop for great finds for a good cause! Located conveniently on the Downtown Cumberland walking mall, it’s easily accessible to tourists, people traveling or biking the C&O towpath, farmer’s market shoppers, and townies alike! Great deals, not overpriced, a wide selection of goods, and a huge variety of items — always rotating stock with new items coming in the doors regularly! Trust me… you’ll love it! And the puppies and kitties will thank you — that alone is worth popping in for!

This thrift shop benefits the homeless animals at the Allegany County Animal Shelter — a great cause. And their prices are really good, too. Unlike so many thrift shops, they don’t overprice. The staff is dedicated to the cause. You can always find a great buy — from clothing, housewares, collectibles, etc. It’s a great place to find books and music, too.
