Clyde Haworth, OD

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Haworth for about 10 years. He is very personable, explains everything and absolutely goes above and beyond. His staff is great and accomodating as well! We have two small children and he is very patient and sweet with them. He even explains everything to the children in a child friendly manner and they truly look forward to visiting the office. My favorite part about his office is that they never make it feel like you are in a sales enviroment. So many doctors try to upgrade, upsell and force things that aren’t needed– well, not here! A true family eye doctor!

I do have to say that Dr Clyde is a great Optometrist. He gives you that down home country feeling because he takes his notes on topics to discuss and then brings them up the following year. That is something small but it is what sets him aside form those factory eye doctors.

I was referred to Dr. Haworth from a long time patient of his who said, «He’s great, I think you’ll really like him.» He was right. I now tell anyone who is looking for an optometrist to go see Dr. Haworth.
Not only is he personable and kind, he truely enjoys interacting with his patients. He explains what each test is and what is going on.
And his staff are awesome, too. They are all very kind and understanding. When I was 5 minutes late this morning, I apologized and the receptionist responded, «It’s saturday morning, don’t worry about it!» When she noticed that I hadn’t been able to come in to pick up my contacts– an extra pair I had asked for to hold me over til my appointment– she said, «You should have called! We would have mailed them out for you!»
Just a great experience, every year. If you need a new eye doctor, look no further!

Dr. Haworth has been my optometrist since I was born. He is personable and professional. He always makes sure to tell me what tests he is doing and why he is doing them. I would recommend Dr. Haworth to anyone looking for an optometrist.

Dr. Haworth and his staff are amazing people. I was a little late for my first appointment. Oftentimes, I’ve had to wait longer, because of paperwork, insurance, etc., but at this office Dr. Haworth was already examining my eyes within 10 minutes of arriving. It’s also been my experience in the past that even when I was just a few minutes late, the office staff would seem irritated — that always made me feel guilty. This office staff didn’t mind in the least — they were SO nice and friendly.
Dr. Haworth wasn’t just interested in getting me the right contacts and eyeglasses, but he also wanted to know more about me as a person.
His optometry skills are excellent — I knew immediately that I was in great hands. He did a number of tests on my eyes and made a point to tell me EXACTLY why he was carrying out each one. I love doctors who seek to inform their patients as much as possible!
I am SO happy that I went to this particular optometrist! He’s fantastic!
