Other reviews do not exaggerate. Definitely ranks up among the better Indian restaurants where I’ve eaten. Great atmosphere, excellent presentation, and delicious, fresh food!

They have fantastic food. I love their chicken tikka masala and chicken saag.

Excellent, delicious, authentic food. Excellent service. Restaurant is immaculate. We found the prices quite fair for the quality. We were very happy to find this hidden gem! The saag was out of this world! Drinks were prompt and ice cold, the complimentary mango smoothie will have us coming back for more! The naan and roti were hit, fresh and perfectly seasoned. We will be back to try the buffet…

The food is pretty good, but the chicken tikka masala is often tough/overcooked(though tasty). My biggest issue is that it is WAY overpriced, for the quality.

A great Indian restaurant that’s only a few minutes outside of Lincoln off 116 on Mendon road. I eat here once a week, sometimes twice. Highly recommend their curries and they make a wonderful lemon coriander soup. If you are looking for a place that makes a killer vodka dirty martini, this is your place. Well worth a try, especially if you have never had Indian before!

I had a really bad experience this time around, I ordered veggie platter along with other items for takeaway. Every single item in the platter was stale and tasted bitter. All the pakora’s were stale and tasted like they were fried again to give a fresh look. Moved onto other pakora’s and they were so rubbery that you couldnt even chew and i wasnt sure what it was made up and i didnt want to risk eating those so threw them in garbage. I thought Samosa’s would be the saving grace but i was so wrong, They were stale, tasted bitter and the filling inside of it was kind of a mockery to the whole samosa concept. The only saving grace to the take out order was main course item’s i ordered malai kofta and chicken vindaloo. All in all it left a bitter taste and flavor’s you did loose a customer.

Despite the awkward placement of this restaurant in a strip mall-like plaza, the food was definitely on point. Upon first walking in, you see the whimsical multicolored lit up sign and walk into a deli like room with a long kitchen on the left and small tables. You are then escorted into the adjoining room which has a full bar and a more dining room feel. The owner took our order on an iPad which was pretty cool; no losing tickets or misreading orders. We ordered the mixed appetizer platter which had a lamb samosa and veggie samosa, pakoras and various other fritters. It was much larger than the mixed platters I’ve had at other places and I liked everything but the lamb samosa was not my favorite, it was a bit dry on the inside. I shared the chicken tikka masala with my mom and my husband had the chicken vindaloo. We really liked those dishes and the sauces were much more tomato based and less oily then some other places I’ve had these in. We also ordered two naans and they were ginormous! The owner was very friendly and we conversed with him a bit as we were the only ones left on a late week night. He gave us some complimentary rice pudding to try and it was very tasty, just the right amount of sweet. We paid by swing a card through a cube like attachment on an iPhone. I would definitely come back here and look forward to trying some mixed grill options next time.

Very good! Waitress was very very nice. The place was clean and had a cool look with some of the Indian decorations. I recommend to anyone.

The Fam and my friends have slowly become regulars of Flavours over the past few years. They have recently added a lunch buffet, which is great when I want good food at lunch time. It has also become part of our regular take-out rotation over the past year, because the food is consistent, flavorful and a nice change from the usual Chinese or pizza on busy nights. New favorites are the Peshwari and garlic naan, chicken saag, chicken korma and mango jalfrazi. My oldest really enjoys the vindaloo, but it is very spicy, so only for those that enjoy the spice. My girlfriends always have me order the pakora for our girls night takeout dinner. I really enjoy Flavours and am glad we gave it a few more tries.

First time visiting and we will surely be back. The vegetable samosa(2) were large and full of flavor. Sooo enjoyable. We got chanan masala, vegetable vindaloo, and mushroom saag for the table. All was super delicious. I was appropriately advised on heat index and selected the perfect amount of heat. Great, comfortable space, large bar. Clean kitchen and friendly staff.

The food here is delicious. Definitely a hidden gem. Absolutely recommend the Chicken Kadai if you’re into something very spicy. Everything I’ve had here has been great. Will definitely continue to return as a happy customer!

What an undiscovered gem! We just moved to Cumberland from New York City and frankly had low expectations for Indian food here. This place, however, blew us away. The garlic naan bread is fresh and the best I’ve ever had. I also recommend their chicken korma that has very tender chicken soaked in amazing flavors.

The prices are very reasonable and my perfectly tender Chicken Korma had fresh herbs and a little kick which I really appreciated. The service was great and the menu had plenty of options. Mostly I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients in the dish for the price. I only rated this restaurant a 3.0 because I have only been there once but I will certainly return.

Absolutely phenomenal. Flavours is not simply an excellent, authentic and long overdue quality Indian restaurant, it is an excellent dining establishment PERIOD, regardless of fare. I would consider this a «hidden gem» that in due time will grow with word of mouth as the fare is «A+» with the staff being exceptionally attentive to their growing clientele. The Tikka Masala is a must get and the Saag is sheer perfection. The chicken tandoori and the Naan are also as close to perfect as I’ve ever had. The biggest surprise was… believe it or not… the Onion Rings!!! Buried on the kids menu is a plate of «onion rings» that is served in some type of spicy Indian seasoning that will have the adults destroy the plate leaving next to none for the kids. If there are any negatives at all it would simply be that this is a growing spot and it certainly has that feel to it. Depending on when you go, you might be the only ones in there but don’t let that sway — the food and service are outstanding and the owners couldn’t be nicer people who just want you to leave happy, full and spread the good word of their 5 star spot.

My opinion, the best Indian Restaurant in Rhode Island. Even has tandoori. Excellent bar. Beautiful aromas. A vindaloo that blow your head off!

I LOVE this place! Last night I ordered delivery. I live in Plainville and they had no problem delivering it. The driver was very friendly. I got channa Marsala, veggie samosas, and garlic naan. My husband got the chicken tikka Marsala. He loved it. My food was literally incredible. I am so happy to have such a fantastic place with in delivery distance!!!

This was the first time that I visited this restaurant. The décor was nice and it was clean inside. The staff greeted us and sat us promptly when we arrived. We were the only ones there at first, and two tables of two arrived after us. The food was served and tasted great, and good temperature.. Nice and hot. It took about 20 – 30 minutes to arrive at the table, so perhaps not the best spot for a quick lunch from work. We(five of us) were supposed to get rice with each of our meals, but were instead presented with two small community bowls(about a single portion each) for the whole table. We each ordered separate orders of Nan bread, but this too arrived in a community basket, leaving us to wonder if we had received the equivalent of five separate portions, which we suspect not. Lastly, a 20% gratuity was added to our check, which is fine, but being in a hurry to return to work we didn’t notice and left an additional 20% cash tip… leaving us feeling bamboozled. Overall. food=great, service=not bad, value=meh

All in all, this place has just ok Indian food. The lamb samosas we had for an appetizer were tasty. We also got the tomato soup which had the potential to be really yummy but there was so much pepper in, like someone dumped half of the pepper shaker in — I wouldn’t suggest getting this soup. The chicken tikka was yummy as was the chicken curry and naan. I got a free mango lassi with the Unilocal promotion going on. With that said, Flavours is more expensive than other Indian restaurants I have been to. Although most of our food was good, I have had better Indian food elsewhere in the metrowest and for less money!

Cayenne, coriander, curry, and turmeric — Stop at Flavours for a plate to lick! I — crave — FLAVOR. All the time. And I’ve found that the sweet and spice of Indian dishes accomplishes the task in most scrumptious and sufficient way. This strip-mall hideaway is conveniently located(Mendon Rd meets 295N), has reasonable lunch prices, and can have my lunch pick-up order ready in 20minutes. I’ve ordered take-away a couple of times now, always for pick-up. While they *do* offer delivery(for $ 2, for orders greater than $ 15)…only you can’t order online if you’re hoping to order a vegetarian dish, due to a glitch the price was entered as $ 56.99…not $ 5.99(whoops). Each time I’ve been 98% satisfied with the experience, price, and sensational seasonings of the dishes! I can certainly recommend for your lunching: Vegetable samosa(2 for $ 5) Alu Muttar($ 6 comes with delicious jasmine rice!) Okra Masala($ 6 rice rice rice) Garlic Naan($ 2) Tandoori Roti($ 2.50) Feeling adventurous one afternoon I dove into the danger zone and ordered the«Home Made Hot Pickle»($ 2). The spicy, relish-like concoction came in a teeny container and was exactly the opposite of what I was hoping it would be(but, then, with a name like that I’m not really sure what I was expecting). I couldn’t put my finger on the ingredients… all I can say is that this appetizer wasn’t for my bland American mouth. My only RECOMMENDATIONTOTHEESTABLISHMENT: please — PLEASE label the take-away containers! Otherwise, I return to the office to share my goodies and… don’t really know which is which(more dare-or-dare action!). Seriously a great option for lunch(either take-away, buffet, …or perhaps at the full bar?). As far as dining in goes, the décor is a bit unorganized(sports bar meets pig’s lipstick), and I can’t fathom coming here and paying $ 17 a dish + $ 9 a cocktail. But as a $ 6 lunch place? — I’ll keep it!

This place is a quite gem in a little strip mall. I’ve heard about this place for a few weeks now and i finally made the time to try it out. This also being my first experience with Indian food. I came here for lunch with some co-workers and the place was absolutely dead hah. We were the only ppl in there. The restaurant is pretty big it can definitely fit a lot of ppl in there. the décor was nice and the lighting was good, lots of natural light it was also a nice sunny day so that helped out. The place is very clean and neat new paint new fixtures new everything. Checked in and got myself a complementary Mango Lassi for it #WINNING. We ordered the chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. Everything came out fairly fast and steaming hot. Came with balsamic rice and we ordered garlic Naan. The curry is a coconut base sauce so it was a bit sweet couldn’t really taste it much. the masala was a tomato base sauce almost reminded me of a Alfredo sauce but 10x better(my absolutely favorite out of the 3). the vindaloo is not for someone who doesn’t eat hot food. My culture is full of spicy foods so i was fine with it, but i know from experience of eating with ppl who don’t eat spicy food much this would be a dish you would not finish. The flavor was great very good but right at the end it gives you a nice kick. The Garlic Naan was great lots of garlic hot and freshly made right before the food came out the clay oven is in the dinning area so you can see them making it. For lunch it was very cheap 30 with tax and tip for 3 ppl… and the portions were perfect. definitely will be back great place. the only thing that bothered me was the service was slow for us being the only ppl in there. i couldn’t imagine if the place was busier might be a bit annoying.
