Had lunch here. My buddy and I ordered chicken sliders and cheeseburger sliders. Both were tasty although mine, the beef, were only lukewarm by the time they were served. Both came on what appeared to be buns baked onsite. This place has an interesting menu and good beer selection. My biggest gripe is about the cigar shop(the reason I came here) inside of this place. For one you have to get the waitress to let you in as she abandons her customers in the restaurant to do so. Once the door is unlocked to the humidor what you see is a lot of empty shelves and very limited selection. I’ve seen gas stations with better offerings. The actual smoking room has comfy looking chairs and big windows. Looked really inviting for having a cigar except there wasn’t anything that interested me outside of the montecristo whites. They had posters for other cigars that didn’t appear to be in stock. I felt bad about taking the waitress from her work so I bought one to take with me and tipped her a buck. Don’t go to this place for the cigars bit is a decent lunch selection and bar.

This is kinda a locals-biker bar. Plastic cutlery. Smokey. We hoped for tapas but walked out.

Just had lunch here for the first time. Awesome food. We had the chicken sliders and the roast beef ones — some of the best we have ever tasted. We will eat here again when in the area!

This place is great! Bartenders are super friendly and the drinks were well made. I had the portobello mushroom salad. I would’ve liked more dressing options but the homemade croutons were amazing!

Really good food for a bar. I’d particularly recommend the fried jalopenos. Excellent atmosphere. Not too crowded most of the time that I’ve been there. The best service I’ve ever had in a bar. On Monday nights you can buy a mug of beer, and then you can keep the mug, and every time you have that mug refilled on a Monday you can do so for just $ 1, quickly making it the cheapest place to have a beer on a Monday night.

We have stopped here on several occasions when visiting home for some drinks. We decided that on our next visit we would stop in for dinner. The wings were very good along with the order of sliders but I would recommend avoiding the salads. Over priced for serving size and not very appealing. They have a nice selection of beers and service was saved by one specific waitress that really was very aware of the customer needs. We enjoy the setting so will return for drinks.

Gave this place a couple of tries and was repeatedly disappointed. The prices were bot horrible and the atmosphere is nice, but the food quality is lacking. Had the sliders which was devoid of any seasoning and the rolls were dry. Its worth giving a try I guess, maybe someone else would have better luck.

Staying at nearby Rocky Gap… checked out Mezzos online and we’re thrilled to find a bar like we’re used to in Northern Va. Not sure what bar they took those pictures in, but it’s not where we ended up! Made reservations which ended up being so not needed! Pool tables, bar seating, bad lighting…4 different servers… none of which could serve us quickly or efficiently. Drunk Female patron fell off a bar stool and ended up leaving in an ambulance! Then there was the food… chicken wings? Nah… more like chicken nuggets, loaded potato chips that weren’t listed to include chili, but did. BBQ sliders with no coleslaw… turns out they ran out. Food came out in dribs and drabs supposedly because it was all made fresh… oh really? Didn’t really come across that way. Beer was cold and drinks were good… just not the experience we were expecting based upon the web… but then you can’t believe everything you see on the net!

Slow service with the all you can eat appetizers. I have been here 3 times and each time they forgot part of my order. My food was cold 2 times and my friend got a drink she didn’t order. When we told them we didn’t order the drink the first girl was nice but the second girl was really rude said sorry I can’t remember everyone’s order. I won’t go back there are way better places to eat around town with better service!

Great food. My hubby tried the loaded potato with steak, mushrooms & gravy and satisfied his craving for Mac Tatties potatoes!

Our family was gathering the past weekend for the breast cancer walk starting at canal place. After the walk we went to Mezzos for lunch. We were a very large group. Thirty-five to be exact. Everything about this gathering place was wonderful. Great food, full bar, very comfortable seating, sports on big screen tv’s and good service. Top menu items for our group was the pizza and sliders. Everything was fresh. We will definitely be back next year. Mezzos is a real diamond in the rough.

This place is lack luster to say the least. The service is nothing to write home about and neither is the food! The sliders were decent but the«never frozen» chicken fingers were questionable… not even sure they were real chicken! The only good thing is that the beers were $ 2.

First visit was fantastic. We went for the all you can eat Sunday, food was great and so was the service. 2 weeks later we ordered wings and an hour later they tell me they are out of bone in wings. So we tried the boneless. They where horrible. The next week we came back and brought some friends. Most of us got the all you can eat special, but one ordered a baked potato. We waited on the wings for over an hr and once the wings came out the nachos where brought out. All was cold and the baked potato never did show up. Hope it gets better

We had lunch here yesterday, and the food was very good. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers for an appetizer, and the roast beef sliders for lunch, and they were so good! I could’ve eaten a tray of the shrimp skewers. My husband got the basil lime chicken pizza, and that was super tasty as well. They were short staffed when we were there, so it took a minute for the food, but we weren’t in a hurry and don’t mind waiting for a quality meal.

WORTH A TRY. I have been multiple times whether for food, drinks, or a throw down evening. The extent of my experience has been all over the place. SERVICE: The bartenders do a good job on most nights to beat back the crowds and serve people as quickly as possible. They are generally friendly and attentive. FOOD: Early on their menu was very good. I had went here regularly for lunch and once for dinner. However, more recently things have went down hill. I don’t mean to jump on a bandwagon of unhappiness but unfortunately my food wasn’t done very well and rushed which made it sloppy and difficult to eat. Another trip yielded a 30minute wait without my meal and then upon it’s delivery– it was cold. This could be cleaned up by management very easily. OVERALL: I would recommend this spot for night life more than their food until the hiccups are dealt with. They possibly already have been. It is worth a try– and the cost a somewhat high for the area, but not unbearable.

We’ve been bicycling the GAP trail for the last two days and stopped for the night in Cumberland. Mezzo came up here on Unilocal as well-rated and nearby, so we stopped in. I am writing this review from the table. We have been waiting over 70 minutes now for our order to be delivered. Most of the plates are here, but we’ve had to ask three different servers for the last plate. How hard is it to fulfill orders at an all-fried-all-the-time kind of place? Not even half of the tables are occupied, they’ve got 3 – 4 employees here, I’m not sure what their problem is, but I hope nobody else falls for it and tries this place.

Mezzo’s is probably one of the nicer looking bars in Cumberland. It has a cool inlay of gear works above the main door, a cigar lounge overlooking the front street, hardwood floors, brick walls, and leather chairs. It is classy, but not snooty at all. When it gets packed they run a side bar for The more popular beers. Their main bar had some good taps, but they are all domestics. Sam Adams, angry orchard, blue moon, and Sierra Nevada are they most exotic you’ll find. It’s a great repurpose for a building and the people are nice. They have pool, darts, and tv’s. The tag line is «a great place to meet» and I would say that it actually is.

Clean, friendly atmosphere and great service. Several TVs to watch your favorite sports team, plus a pool table and cigar bar. Small menu but everything we ordered was great. Boneless wings with Sweet & Sassy or Hot & Bleu sauce — Try it. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely going back to Mezzos the next time I visit Cumberland, MD.

Nice large space. Tapa menu could be larger, but what they have is good. Bad marks for not giving fresh glass for beer, refilled existing on reordering.
