I am at a point where I order from Dandelion at least 3 times a week. The food is fresh and tastes great. I have bouncing back and forth between the Singapore Fried Noodles and the Beef Chow Fun. I also enjoy their spring rolls with meat. There has been no bad meal at Dandelion… period. They also welcome suggestions on what to substitute with your meal if you would like. I do this from time to time. Again, the flavors are great and I consider other Asian restaurant almost in a fast food capacity after eating at Dandelion.

Don’t waste your money. I ordered the garlic chicken with broccoli. The chicken was like rubber and all the cook did was to plop some sauce on top. I would have been better off buying a frozen meal at the Kroger next door.

Tried this for the first time tonight and we decided this is our new go-to. There are several places near us but we haven’t been happy with the quality of the food so my husband drove to dandelion based on the reviews. The basil chicken with fried rice and sesame chicken did not disappoint! Very good.

Came here several times, It’s probably the best chinese restraunt in this area. There are several dishes are really good! 1. Basil chicken 2. Singapore style fried noodles 3. Tomato & egg with beef I also want to say thank you to owner of Dandelion for one special delivery. I left my wallet in the store and before i even realize this, Derek shows up and return my wallet with everything intact. For me, thats amazing.

Once again, Dandelion hit a home run with their chicken lo mein and fried rice. It was probably the only 5 minutes of the day that my children were quiet because they enjoyed the food so much. My 3 year old daughter kept repeating ‘yummy this is yummy’ Their spring rolls and hot and sour soup are fresh and authentic. The associates are very professional and courteous. I have found my lifelong Chinese food go to. Spread the word please– it would be a disservice not to try it.

Food was overpriced chinese. However, the food itself is not bad. It is lighter than other chinese restaurants. However, given the abundance of other chinese restaurants, the restaurant here is way overpriced. Not authentic chinese, but if you’re looking for fusion, then you can come here.

So I gave lunch another try with my daughter today and had the best Chicken Curry. The soups and tea were very flavorful as well as the waitress was great bringing out samples of tea and almond cookies. I will return with whole family next time.

I used to come a lot when I lived nearby. I recently came back for a visit. I’m glad to see that their food is still the same. My favorite dish here is the basil fried rice. Its consistently delicious. The only thing is that their prices have increased which is a bummer.

Great find! Finally after 10 months of trying Chinese restaurants, this one is a keeper. The Basil Chicken was incredible. Food is fresh and full of flavor, complex flavors, not the same flavor bite after bite like at other places. I like the tea. It’s brewed from many different kinds of tea leaf’s over 8 hours. So if you don’t get out of the south or you like tea that taste like sugar water, don’t get the tea. If you don’t like Chinese food at least go look at the art work. The elements and principles in the artwork by these kids is advanced. I will be back.

Food is good. Service is sometimes slow. Place is clean. Lovely selection of dishes. Atmosphere is far more modern than most. It is a place I would return to but not often.

The FAM and I rolled up in Dandelion the Saturday after Christmas. We were surprised to be the only ones in the restaurant on such a busy shopping day. The service was great as it should have been seeing as how it looked as if we may have been the first customers all day. Our food arrived rather quickly and this is always a very good thing when you have 2 rambunctious and demanding little humans in tow. I ordered the Thai chicken wings and the hubs ordered the basil chicken. My wings arrived after everyone else had already been eating for 5 minutes or so. Luckily they were piping hot and pretty tasty so I did not complain. My husband was pleased with his basil chicken which was evident by the fact that he cleaned his plate. Our server told us it was one of the most popular items. The hubs agreed. All in all Dandelion was a pretty good place to try out.

After being suckered by a restaurant that was recommended on Unilocal, and our inability to find said restaurant, we stumbled upon here instead. TL:DR — Décor is quirky, unique, and creative — They’ll make off-menu items(not lunch special pricing though) — Service is great — Food is great price, OK value, good tasting What I really appreciate in this place is all of the kids artwork hanging around. Although it doesn’t really seem to have a «theme» about itself, maybe that’s a good thing. It doesn’t feel dirty, the waitresses/server/cashier people were very friendly and the food is good. We ordered: Basil Chicken w/Fried rice Basil Chicken w/White rice General Tsao’s Chicken w/White rice. All were great, and they even asked what level of spicy we wanted it on a scale of 1 – 5 with 3 being what they normally serve(although we still needed to add a little more spice even at level 5). What impressed me the most is they will basically make you whatever type of traditional«american-chinese» plate you want whether it’s General Tsao’s or even Orange Chicken, you just have to ask. I’ll definitely come here again, specifically for the $ 7 lunch specials and their tea’s.

The food here is to die for. The flavors are incredibly authentic and refreshing. The menu is large and could fit a classic«teriyaki or sweet n sour» appetite or you can choose a unique taste like spicy basil or lemongrass. I have never ordered anything and end up not liking it. I pray this place never goes out of business.

The food here is great! Their service is fast and super friendly! I usually get sesame chicken and some egg drop and it is delicious! I also really like the Garlic Mushroom Duo with Tofu, it is a great vegetarian option. The owner is very personable, and it is a great family atmosphere.

I really wanted to support this place– everyone that works here is so nice BUT– 1. I was the Only person in the Restaurant & I was getting it to go… 8pm 2. WAYYYYTOSALTY!!! It seemed like that was their only spice 3. The Tea definitely tasted off– I only had 2 sips, then dumped it out. After reading Kristie D. review– I now know why… Thanks for the research. 4. I asked if they had Miso Soup– No! I asked if they had Crab Rangoon-No! They told me about another shrimp appetizer and its one of their specialities– I was excited to try it(Way over-priced)— it tasted like it came from a box and was gross all around. I took 1 bit and split it out. 5. WAYOVER-PRICED

Today was my 3rd visit to Dandelion and I really want to like this place but today’s events have kind of ruined it for me. Unlike some previous reviews I do enjoy the décor, its spartan but looks clean, doesn’t feel like one of those dark, dusty overdone Chinese places. Food is ok, portions are pretty small though and served with bland white rice. I cannot say enough nice things about the young lady and young gentleman working the counter. Fast, helpful and super-friendly. The kicker for me is that today as I was waiting on my take-out order I ordered a sweet tea. The tea tasted«off» and I asked how old it was. The young lady assured me that it was less than a week old. I asked her to repeat herself and she explained that they made new tea weekly so it wasn’t more than a WEEK old. Really??? Here’s what the research says about this practice«Fresh-brewed tea can sit at room temperature for up to eight hours if unsweetened. The flavor will begin to „sour“ in sweetened tea after about six hours. The „sour“ taste which develops is bacteria growth and thus tea that sits too long at room temperature should be avoided. A common practice of restaurants to save money is to refrigerate left-over tea at the end of the day and reuse it the next day. This practice is contrary to health code. If you order tea at a restyaurant and it tastes „sour,“ it is either old tea or tea stored in a container that has not been properly sanitized.» So I took the food home but could not bring myself to eat it or let my family eat it. I’m thinking that if they are serving dangerous tea to save $ then are they picking food up off the floor or thawing and refreezing? I probably wouldn’t be so worried but I was recently hospitalized with e-coli(NOT from Dandelion) so that is an experience that I never want to repeat. I actually went back out and paid another $ 30 to feed my family dinner and I’m so disappointed. Maybe I’m being hypercritical or hypersensitive because I was so sick but I just refuse to take the chance. I’m so sorry to give you a bad review, Dandelion, I hate to do it but I’m just trying to be honest.
