We first came by here by chance but now it has become a tradition. The service here is like none other, you are treated like family and always welcome. We have caught the owner leaving on more than one occasion and she let us in anyway. They have Legos for the kids and an amazing selection of ice cream, shaved ice and other sweet treats. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the folks who run it!

My husband and I have been going here for sometime now. It’s our favorite place to get ice cream. The owner and his mother are very nice. The ice cream flavors they make are so yummy! My husband’s favorite is Da Bomb and he always gets it when we stop by. I try a new flavor every time and haven’t had a bad one yet.

I was excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews but instead I was disappointed. When I got the ice cream it was goopy and melted looking but I figured it may taste good… sadly nope! The ice cream tasted like off brand grocery store ice cream.

This was a very cute little ice cream shop in Cumming. I thought the ice cream was decent. There were some creative flavors available and they were very friendly. Looks like a great place to take kids — very festive décor!

The service was great, and my ice cream was awesome. They play 50s and 60s music, which is fun to hear and sing along to. Their «da bomb» ice cream was, indeed, da bomb. My wife liked her brownie batter ice cream, and my daughter’s candy bar crush ice cream was great also. Overall, excellent service and food.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be several times I have wanted

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. The ice cream is great but the service is even better.
For example, my daughter got her vaccinations and I promised her ice cream after. I got to Ice Cream Social only to see they are closed on Mondays! Noooooo! But luckily the son of the owner who works there let us in and served us even though they were closed. In doing so, he earned a customer for life! I’ve been there multiple times and these are the sweetest people on earth. I love it!!!

Went here on Sunday. My 2year old loved the Lego table. We peaked inside the party room. Cute setup with a stage for Karaōke…
50’s theme going on, playing 50’s music… cute atmosphere. Good Icecream. A little on the rich side, but next time I’ll stick with Vanilla. Definitely coming back!

It’s been a long time since Ive been to a great place and true ice cream place! It reminds me of the days when I was a kid and going to a true ice cream shop. Service is great and very kid friendly!

Great place to get really good ice cream. I have been in there with just me and my 4 year old son many many times as well as with the rest of my family. We went for the first time a few years ago while living in Cumming and made it our go to local place for ice cream. Our latest visit was a week ago while we were back in town for a a few weeks and we knew we had to stop in. The service and the ice cream were great. The owner’s son even made my boy a balloon pirate sword. No chain ice cream place here. The owners and their son are very friendly and it’s like everyone is family who walks through the doors. This is the kind of place I’m happy to support rather than a chain store that doesn’t know their customers or care to.

Great place. Nice people. Delicious ice cream. I had the raspberry truffle cone and the red velvet cupcake. As good as it gets. The people were friendly (so nice to be appreciated where I spend my money). And the store is roomy, decorated and has a fun atmosphere. Glad I went and will can’t wait to go back.

We’ve lived within 5 minutes of the place for 3 years and had never gone there for some reason, but decided to this weekend and are glad we did. Really good, custom flavors. The service was great. Nice little Lego table and basketball game for the kids. I’d definitely recommend it.

Been coming into this wonderful establishment since we moved to the area 2 months ago. The ice cream is amazing. I just tried the Purple Daze — black rasberry ice cream with black rasberry crinkle and dark chocolate rasberry cups. Wow a blackberry yum explosion. Great service from the Staff and wonderful family atmosphere. If you love ice cream and specially if you have kids — make your way to The Ice Cream Social in Cumming right off Exit 13.
