Massage Envy – Cumming Town Center

Laura — Try the Buford location (near mall of ga). Hopefully new management at the Cumming location will offer improved service. I hope so as that’s closer to me, but as I started out at the Buford location and have found most everyone to be very good to fabulous, I hate to leave.

I’ve given this particular Massage Envy location 4 different chances to impress me with their body massages. All 4 times I have left disappointed.
I signed up for the year contract this past February in a Charlotte location. I have since moved to the Cumming area. Both of my pre-​natal massages were lackluster and kinda uncomfortable. My 2 most recent massages post-​pregnancy have been a huge disappointment. Today was the last straw. My massage therapist gave me the worst full body massage I’ve ever had. She lacked any sort of personality and she was sub-​par at best. She even bordered on the line of being rude and annoyed.
I know you get what you pay for so I’m not going in with high expectations like I would at a resort or a high end spa. But I do expect to get my money’s worth and leave with some sense of relaxation. Unfortunately I’m stuck in this contract until February 2015. I refuse to go back to this location and I would never recommend to anyone. This location needs to get their act together because I have experienced positive trips at other Massage Envys.

I’ve had a few poor experiences with this place. My folks were in town from NY and I brought them here for massages. Dad finished first and left a tip for both therapists on his card, but when mom finished she tipped her therapist in cash. We realized the error on the way home and called to see what they could do to fix the double tip issue. They told us to come by the next day and they would give us a check, and that’s just what happened. The folks went back home and when they deposited the check it bounced. The massages were very average as well too. I’ve had a massage here once before and it was just ok, nothing great. I have not gotten good feedback from anyone about this place and would advise abstinence as the only course of action.
