Carelesss Service + too much meat tenderizer spoiled our dinner experience. There were only 4 families dinning in the restaurant and 2 service people were busy on their phones playing games. Our appetizer came in after 40mins, the apperance of the kabbob platter was good but the spices have been burnt bad and the meat was becoming mushy when we tried to cut through. Our mutton biryani came a little late as expected, i was hoping for the good but it had too much spice and the mutton was mushy as well. yakkkk. I left it after few spoons. I would have given atleast 3 for the papad if the service was any good. Not coming again nor recomending anyone.

Overpriced for the quantity and quality of food provided. Waste of money. Servers dont even smile or greet. When we ordered bottles water, they dont even have that and they didnt even feel sorry about it. Ambience is not good. Alpharetta has so many good Indian restaurants and who would want to go here when there are plenty of choices open for a reasonable price.

The food is overpriced compared to the quantity, we ordered a take out and waited for 35 mins, the food is just average even they just opened to i expected to get the best quality atleast in the beginning. i will not go back to this place ever as we have other good Indian options in cumming area.

Really good food. The server didnt know anything about Indian food so they lost a star there since, being new to it myself, I was looking for guidence.

Not inviting in the least. Waiter was not rude but was also not very helpful. The food was good although lamb chops must have been from a prematurely newborn lamb. As we were getting ready to leave we were talking quietly about other restaurants we notice the owner staring daggers at us. Don’t think we will be returning.

Love this place. So glad to finally get some decent Indian food in Cumming. Have been here at least 12 times and have never been disappointed. If you go for lunch try the Thali — a huge amount of food for such a decent price. I always end up with leftovers. Dinner is also very good. Love that they leave water on the table for you and that your meal starts with chutney and crackers. Always fresh, hot and spicy. Hope they continue to do well as this tucked away place next to a cruddy massage place has had several restaurants fail in this spot. I hope this is the exception.

We discovered this restaurant quite by accident through Unilocal reviews. We love to try food that is different and original. I ordered the tandoori sampler and my wife had the egg plant vegetarian dish. Both were absolutely fantastic. The food is fresh and clean and extremely flavorful with many neat unique flavors all blended together definitely Indian. The Papadoms are excellent and we ordered extra with our meal. I would like to see more vegetables included with the meat dishes or offered as a side item cook in the same seasonings that would be the only thing I would add as additional that would really talked it off. We will definitely be coming back as this could be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area.

Tried this place for take-out and was pleasantly surprised as they brand new. The chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and chat Somoza was delicious and served hot when I got home. They also didn’t forget the bread as some places tend to do for take-out. I was immediately greeted and welcomed when I came to pick up. I would def come back and maybe try the buffet

I wish Unilocal had half stars. I’d give Mint three and a half stars. There was nothing bad about Mint; however, nothing stood out as outstanding. We parked at 5:30 pm on the dot, which is when it opens for dinner service. I was sat immediately since there was no one else in the restaurant. The décor was bright and tidy with natural organic accents and linen napkins – nice clean lines. Our server, a young girl, was polite and friendly but was not able to answer my culinary questions. I’m fairly new to Indian food so this was a huge downer for me. The other Indian restaurant that I’ve been to(Bombay Flames) has very knowledgeable servers. Not only can Bombay Flames answer my questions, they always educate me on what it is, how to eat it, and complementary food pairings.

Still good. Went back today for a Saturday buffet follow up. I was there at 1pm, wasn’t busy. Seemed a little short handed, so I just took a table and waited, then got up and started in on the buffet. Buffet seemed worked over. A couple of items were almost empty, including the naan(none lol). But my taster budds still loved it. I had 3 plates. This place is so close to me, they’re really gonna have to screw up for me not to eat there.

Went for luck buffet at this restaurant and was was a bit disappointed although the taste wasn’t bad, because of the below reasons Buffet spread: limited with just one non veg starters and one desert(that to kesari bath). Food was kept in buffet server without hinches which made it little bit difficult to take Cost: it’s almost $ 13 for the buffet and the spread as mentioned above was very limited Ambience: Floors are just concreted and there is no carpet or proper flooring .felt a little bit ordinary positives Service: Thumps up. Good and prompt Location and Parking: easy and convenient I hope they improve the spread and make it more attractive

Ordered take out of 1 appetizer and 2 entrees at 5:15pm(yes, they weren’t offically open yet), we were told 35 minute wait. I showed up just after 5:30 and was told 10 minutes… no problems so far…6:15 rolls around and I have to ask about my order. A dumbfounded waitress goes to look for it and all the sudden it magically appears…(who knows how long it was sitting behind the window). The owner or manager was not on site, he had to make what seemed to be an inventory run… I saw him in the parking lot and said… well, you guys told me 35 minutes at 5:15 and it has been over an hour… I am not one to ask for freebies!!!, but he offered me zero compensation for my wait and gave me a meek apology. Let down 100%, as I love authentic Indian. Needless to say, this place will never make it… the location is hard enough, but several people I have talked to say the food is good, but the service is second rate. I’m a one first impression guy with restaurants… this place isn’t on my radar now.

About time Cumming has an Indian restaurant. Don’t let the Spartan décor of this newly opened establishment put you off — I think they are still putting things together, as evidenced by the fact that they don’t have their alcohol license yet(and you can be creative there in the interim). The food is quite good and the prices are just as good. But the best recommendation may be the number of Indian diners I see whenever I go here. They like to spice their dishes(not Hyderabad spicy, but spicy enough), so if you don’t like your food that way, be sure to let your server know.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, was very excited to see an Indian cuisine open in Cumming. I ordered the entrée Goat Vindaloo with a side order of garlic bread. Total price $ 16:56. I ordered the meal for take out. When I got home and opened the meal I was disappointed with what I had, 12⁄3 cup of rice and 12⁄3 cup bones with potatoes and gravy. One or two bones did have small pieces of meat attached. I have to say that the taste was excellent, the disappointing issue was the lack of meat and excess amount of bones. Would be very hard to recommend this place. What a shame, there have been 5 previous restaurants at this location, all have failed and the bldg has sat empty for months or even years. Maybe the location is jinxed.

Nice food. We ordered chicken 555 and malai chicken kabab for starters. The first one was spicy yet yummy. Kabab was also good! For main course we ordered bullet naan, garlic naan, keema mutter, kadhai chicken and bhagaara baigan. Everything was good and tasty. Oh I forgot to mention that they start you off with papad and chutney! Will come again for sure and happy that there is an Indian restaurant in the vicinity!

Ambience n location — clean, bright and functional space — pleasant staff — perfect location for west side cumming and right off 400 Food — balanced and tasty food — not oily or excessively fatty — decent variety for buffet Make sure to let them know the spice level when you order. Place is still being fine tuned as an establishment, but will be at the top of my list if it maintains the quality I saw.

Good food, fresh and spicy food, had buffet lunch here and the chicken 999 was very good. Goat kolhapuri and plain rice was wonderful too. Haven’t tried the chicken biryani but my better half say it’s fresh and spicy. Got to try it. The only catch point is kids meal for a 2 year old is 10 dollars which seemed unusual as most of the other restaurants choose not to charge me at all. parents with kids please avoid even if ur kid shares your plate u will be charged with kids meal during a buffet eatout!

This place is a much needed restaurant for the area. Everything was pretty good but overall nothing really blew me away either. I had the panner and the masala. Both dishes were ordered extra spicy but they really were not. I had read in other reviews of this place indicating some heat, but that was not the case for me. The service while friendly, was disorganized. They seemed to be doing a lot of takeout which was promising. I’m very hopeful for this place. I will be back to try the buffet

This is amazing Indian food. We ate there on a Sunday and are thrilled to find this close to home. We had a little bit of everything as this was our first visit and would rate everything excellent. Cons: — Wait staff not trained to do things like remove completed plates, etc however they were very nice and attentive. — VERY loud blender to make smoothies — this kept us from being able to hear each other talk — they need to remedy this fast or it will cost them business. Try it — it’s worth the few cons by far

Great food. They start you off with papadums which were crispy and not oily, served with mint chutney. For appetizers we had bone-in Tandoori Chicken and Chilly Gobi. The tandoori chicken was moist and flavorful. The Chilly Gobi was spicy and not oily. It is one of the best gobi appetizers I have had. Our entrees were Chicken Shahi Korma, Chicken Vindaloo, and Aloo Gobi Masala. The Korma was outstanding, the Vindaloo was excellent as well. The Aloo Gobi was also delicious with a nice kick to it. The restaurant was very clean. We went in around 7PM and there were just a few people in the dining room, but by time we left the tables were almost full. This is Cumming’s first Indian restaurant I believe and I really hope they make it. This location unfortunately has been a curse for a whole host of other restaurants. I personally will do my part by visiting them regularly. Go check them out. You won’t be sorry!
