Two of my favorite things are tacos and tequilas, so I find it necessary to visit a restaurant that’s name contains my two favorite things. Tacos and Tequilas Mexican Grill does not disappoint; not only do they carry tacos and tequilas, but also lots of other delicious food and a full bar with all the liquors and a decent selection of beers. We have visited the Tacos and Tequilas in Buckhead off Roswell Rd quite a few times in the past and am happy that this location in Cumming lives up to our expectations set by the other location. The staff is super friendly, service is fast, food is fresh, hot, and tasty when it is delivered. I usually always get the fajita quesadilla when I visit, but decided to try the tacos this time. I ordered the T&T Tacos plate that came with 3 tacos of my choosing; steak, shrimp, and brisket. Also got a small cheese dip(queso). All the food was delicious.

Excellent burrito, rice, beans, cups and sauce. Service was super fast and servers on top of it. Definitely will be back.

First off there’s cheese on everything. They call it cheese dip on the menu what is basically just melted cheese. I had the fajitas with exactly six strips of steak enough for two piece of steak per fajitas. The rest was about 2 pounds of onions and 5 strips of bell pepper. The absolutely worst fajitas ever had in my life I actually didn’t think you could mess up the fajitas until I visited this place.

The most boring, tasteless excuse for Mexican food that I’ve ever had, prettily presented on the plate, but in a slick chain restaurant environment. I gave it two chances and both times wondered how anyone make Tex Mex so tasteless. Never again.

Food is great! The waitress is so nice. There’s different combo in the menu. I like the chile relleno

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Cumming area. The menu is huge, with a variety of typical Mexican combos that include tacos, enchiladas, or burritos, but they also a large number of specialty dishes, such as huevos rancheros, carne asada, or rancheros. The food is consistently good; no, it’s not the most mild-blowing, amazing Mexican food that I’ve ever tasted, but it’s always well-prepared, reasonably priced, and the staff is always happy and friendly — they really seem to enjoy working there! They have an additional lunch menu, and I always take advantage of the«soup and salad» or «soup and taco» lunch combo. They have a large seating area, both in the main restaurant, on a patio, and in the bar area.

I’ve eaten here twice in the last month. Both times, the table’s orders were taken incorrectly, and on our second visit, the bar also mistook our drink order… a double whammy. The very loud live music was hardly music, and we asked to be moved outside. The food is delicious, but the noise level and service have turned me off.

Wonder how this place has a 4-star rating. The food is just bland. None of that unique mexican flavor. Went there twice and was disappointed both times with the food. The ambience is ok. If you want the genuine mexican flavor, try the Taco La Villa in Smyrna — the place is very small so not suitable for large groups, but the food is great.

My friend took me out to this place and it was my first time. They started us off with salsa and chips which were amazingly good! Our orders came out super fast and the food was delicious. Did I mention that we went on Cinco De Mayo day, so I was impressed by the service. Knowing that it was a holiday we decided to go back there(because the food was good) at another time during the week and there was no slight difference from my first visit. Great service!!!

I was drawn to this place from seeing their menu on line which looked different from most typical Mexican. We had a 15/min wait which was about 20 and the bar served a 30 oz giant beer which they called a medium. Unfortunately it was not cold so I traded for another. The place is nicer than most and tiled with a large patio. The band was playing a combo of recorded and love music. Music was a lite too loud in the bar and it was warm. The chips were excellent and arrived promptly with guac. The salsa was bland but guacamole was pretty good and came w average queso dip for $ 8. The waiter was a bit absent minded and inattentive and took a little while to take our order but once he did it arrived as timely except they forgot my beans and rice. The fajitas were a small portion but good taste and texture. My Taco combo was tasty but could have been served warmer. I did not like the brisket but the chicken was impressive. I liked the home made sauces — green and mango. Total price was under $ 50/for 2. Overall it was satisfying and I’ll be back to try more interesting menu items.

I don’t even like Mexican food, so the fact that my friend got me to actually consume anything here, you know their food is AMAZING! The shrimp and veggie tacos were to die for! LOVEDIT!

Went on Friday. Long wait to sit down. Place is very noisy. Ordered a mojito and it was completely nasty. Was so sour I couldn’t drink it. Sent it back and just got mich ultra. Asked for guacamole appetizer. It never came. Ordered the street tacos since it looked good, wrong! It had no seasonings at all on the beef and you could tell it was not drained at all was so damn greasy… And to top if off there is no cheese serves w the tacos!!! They also tried to charge me for the mojito… This place sucks and I will not return save ur money…

They have some dang good appetizers — and the service is great. It’s busy at expected times and very loud. It’s clean and fairly open. We usually take a huge group, and everyone leaves happy.

Great place — we love to go! The atmosphere is clean and modern, the recipes are excellently prepared and presented. This isn’t your typical«chain» Mexican place… it’s really good.

Love this Fresh Mex spot in Cumming. Not your average Mexican place as it has a very bright upscale modern feel. The food is really fresh and never had a bad experience… probably eaten there 8 – 9 times. Try the Mexican Pizza… shrimp quesadila(yummy cheesy saucy), steak burritos, and my fav… Tamales …that come with a thick meat n bean topping… I’m from Houston so really miss my Mex Food… but this place is as close to home food as I can get ! …oh and the house margarita is awesome… no need to order a Texas one.

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday as we’ve wanted to try this place for a while, but it can be incredibly crowded at night. I will say that even with the restaurant less than half full on a Friday afternoon, it was quite noisy. If you want a place to eat and chat, this could be tough when the place is really hopping. That being said, the food is quite good. My wife is a vegetarian and I’m happy to say T&T has a complete Vegetarian section on the menu. Kudos for that and making it very easy for her to find veggie options. She went with the Veggie Combo #1: One cheese enchilada, cheese chile relleno, and Mexican rice and Mexi-beans. All very flavorful and fresh tasting. I decided to go for one of the Tequilas Steak Poblano Pepper dishes. I will say that the steak appears to be thicker in the photos than what you actually receive. It looks like a skirt steak the way it’s presented and although I ordered medium rare, it came out more to medium. But it’s difficult to cook a steak that thin to the rare side. Regardless, the meal was incredibly flavorful, the poblano pepper was outstanding and the jalapeño corn had much more a kick than I expected. All in all one of the better Mexican meals we’ve had in the area.

I’ve been coming here with my mother for Saturday or Sunday lunches now for 2 years and quite pleased with the service and quality of food. We usually get a margarita to start and they have really good guacamole to start. Their Chili Relleno’s are quite good and come with beef, cheese or chicken and their tacos are inexpensive and tasty. I generally order a la carte as I don’t want 2 lbs of food, so getting a $ 3 chile relleno and a couple of tacos usually is plenty for me. They have a great selection of dishes that are typical and some seemingly true mexican, and a bar that is nice if you like a bit of noise but a good place to sit. I’ve never come during a rush hour so have avoided luckily long lines which exist Friday nights so have to say I’d recommend T&TS for your mexican fix when on Market and shopping for the day.

Really mediocre. Salsa was pretty good, guacamole was bland, margarita had way too much mix, not enough tequila. I had the steak tacos with pineapple, I believe… They were okay. I’ve had worse, but I’ve also had much better. My husband had the tequila steak with the stuffed pepper. He really disliked the stuffed pepper, but though the steak was okay. Dessert wasn’t good at all — chocolate chimichanga had barely any chocolate and was basically all ice cream. Everything was edible — just not worth our time and money when there are better choices.

We are VERY pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere of this place. Our server tonight was Blanca, and she’s quick and pleasant – friendly without needing to chat or ears off. I had a skinny Margarita, which was delicious. Daughter hada cola – and their soda was full bodied, not watered down like most places nowadays. We enjoyed the salsa(good flavor, not too spicy, a teensy bit of sweetness) & chips that came to the table as soon as we were seated, plus we ordered(and liked) the cheese sauce. Daughter ate the street tacos with for tortillas, and was extremely pleased with the flavor of the ground beef. I had the carnitas, and although they were served in huge chunks and with a bit of green sauce(not my preferred method of service for carnitas), they were scrumptious. The rice that accompanied both of our meals was light and fluffy, perfectly cooked, with no added veggies – just the way Mexican rice SHOULD be cooked. The charro beans that accompanied my meal were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were starving when we arrived, and were excited that the food made it to the table so quickly. Everyone who came by the table smiled & greeted us without being intrusive. The manager did check on us, but rather than just interrupting and expecting us to be okay with that interruption(I understand managers need to check on service/food quality, but hate when they interrupt conversation), he said excuse me before speaking. Added bonus: I was charged less than $ 2.00 for a side of avocado, unless most other places where I have been charged as much as $ 5! I cannot stress enough how delighted we are with the whole experience. Daughter and I have different tastes and ideas of what makes a place great, but we both found Tacos & Tequilas to our liking!
