A Perfect Tan

First let me say I love this salon! Second i have been coming here for the last 13 years and I continue to be amazed by how great the service is! Larry has always been on his game! Today I went in to get back on track for my golden tan and once again Larry was amazing got me set up fast and with a great new lotion! The room was perfect clean with a trash can and a dirty laundry hamper as well plus baby wipes to wipe off any extra lotion or oils on your hands or even for some of us girls our make up :) every time I come in I am more amazed with the quality of the beds! Thanks again for being my favorite and only spot for tanning Larry :)

I have been tanning on and off at A Perfect Tan for years. The owner, Larry is so personable and helpful. Even if you don’t want a monthly membership you can purchase individual tans (and they are priced well unlike most tanning salons!) I love this place and cannot say enough good things about it!

Simple, quick and easy. I usually get my time in during lunch and bum out when someone is using it. But all in all it’s chill and Larry has good customer service! :)

Great customer service. Clean and professional. Did the stand up tanning booth for 6 minutes. One tanning session costs $ 10. Unlimited tanning costs $ 25. Highly recommended.

I was a first-​time tan salon user over the summer, very easy to use and am very satisfied with the results.

First time tanning and I had a ton of questions. Larry has a great personality we connected great he was ready to answer all my questions. He even let me try his lotion which was great. They have a special going on buy 10 tans get 2 free. Total came out to be 66 so its like 5 dollars a tan great deal. I plan on coming back here. Larry recommended the stand up bed for my skin since I wanted to be a little bit darker, but not too dark. I’m glad I came here to get my tan I plan on coming here again in a few weeks when my tan goes away. Thanks again Larry customer service and everything was on point!

I love this place. Heather is always so helpful. She even gave me a sample of her personal face tanning lotion since she advised me not to use my tanning lotion on my face. This location is the best bang for your buck. It’s clean and gets the job done. Sometimes there’s a wait. There’s 7 rooms total. 1 stand up bed and 6 regular beds. I met the owner a few times too. He’s super nice as well!

Larry and Heather are the nicest people. This place is my favorite tanning salon. It’s in a convenient location. $ 25 a month for unlimited tanning is a phenomenal deal. And I love that I get a free upgrade to a higher power bed each month.

So after years of knowing this place existed, I finally mustered up the initiative to stop by and check it out.
The staff member there, Heather was very friendly and helpful. As someone who is completely new to this kind of thing i had many questions. Heather helped explain the differences in tanning beds and different approaches in getting a good tan, ie. UVB vs UVA, Pressure ratings (watts) length in the tanning booth and skin treatment post tanning. I definitely left my first session with more optimism and excitement now that i understand more about the process and how easy it can be. They definitely don’t try to pressure you here into any memberships or buying lotions.
The actual tanning session was streamlined and convenient. Each booth has a rack for your items, cleaning wipes, tray for keys/​wallet/​etc and mirror. The booth/​bed room is also nice and spacious. Tanning booth/​bed power settings are also controlled by the assistant. There is also a store in the shop that has a good assortment of lotions and tanning accessories.
Also i’d like to mention that the price is unbeatable. I have looked around and A Perfect Tan has a great membership offer at just $ 25 a month for a 3 month minimum and you have the ability to tan every day.
The only con is parking, you may have to resort to street parking or parking in one of the nearby businesses.
Definitely recommend this place for the great customer service and cheap price!

I signed up today after finding out that the tanning salon I had been tanning at randomly closed their doors. (Planet Beach in El Paseo Plaza) Right out of high school I worked at Australian Tan & also Betan and neither salons compare to Perfect Tan. This place is in a nice location, beautiful building, and the man working today (Seems to be the owner… Not sure) is so relaxed, helpful, and made sure to explain where everything in the room was. He wasn’t pushy trying to force me into buying a membership or lotion (like other places I’m familiar with). I’m so mad at myself for not finding this salon sooner! 5 stars from this girl! :)

Larry is so nice and the prices are so cheap! Seriously the best offer I’ve ever seen ($ 25 unlimited per month) but by no means is it a cheap experience.
I hadn’t tanned in a couple years and needed a place to put some color back on. Found this gem online on Unilocal and stopped by after work.
Initially I felt like a noob because I hadn’t gone in so long but Larry very nicely re-​explained the process, helped me pick out a lotion and set me up in a tanning bed. He made me feel at ease and was very easy to talk to.
I’m glad «A Perfect Tan» is in my neighborhood because it’s affordable and the customer service is so friendly.
Now I won’t have to worry about blinding people when I put on shorts or a bathing suit! :D

This place is awesome! Larry is on the top of his game and does what it takes to make every visit as enjoyable as the last. New hardwood floors now in and spray tans en route. Prices are amazing. Zero disappointment.
When Larry isn’t there you’ll find his counterpart heather lighting up the show. All smiles, she always tries to find the best solution to what your going in for and makes it a personalized experience. Happy to say there is zero drop off in quality which you always find at other places when someones bad day somehow permeates into you having a bad machine and a pricey bill.

Perfect Tan is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a summer glow any time of the year. The establishment is clean and the owner is friendly yet professional. Don’t walk, run to Perfect Tan!

You cannot beat the price! As a first time customer, I was given a tanning bed and lotion for $ 10. The guy at the front desk couldn’t have been friendlier, too!
It was my first time tanning indoors, and they put me on level 4 for 7 minutes. I felt comfortable, but didn’t notice too much difference in my skin tone when I came out. However, I did develop a nasty sunburn that stayed with me for about four days. I guess I shouldn’t have been put on that high of a level for my first time.
I’ll absolutely come back, as the quality of service was above and beyond, but I think I should know what I want and what level of exposure I can handle before going in again.

Loved it here!!! Came here last year, Larry was so sweet. Came back for a month of unlimited and he has been super helpful with my options!

My favorite tanning salon! I’ve been to other tanning salons in San Jose, but nothing compares to this place.
This was my first tanning experience. The lady working at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! She explained how everything worked and what to do and suggestions for how long I should be in the bed for.
When I was leaving, she asked me about my experience and if I would come back. I love how comfortable she made me feel and so welcoming. YESSSSS I WILL BE BACK!
It’s also really cheap! I think for one time tan it’s only $ 10.
