Melanie is great! She’s really sweet and shows that she really cares about me and my skin and not just about getting my money. She has never tried to pressure me into buying anything, is always very honest and informative about her craft, and is truthful about what will work best with my skin.
I first came to Melanie after buying a groupon for three microdermabrasion sessions. The first session went okay, but she suggested after that I stay away from microdermabrasion because of my sensitive skin. She swapped out the remaining groupon sessions I had for other facials that would be better for my skin, at no extra cost. I’ve been returning to her every month since and each facial has been great. Overall you couldn’t ask for a better esthetician!

Melanie is amazing, got a groupon a while back and kept that locked-​in pricing. finally bought a package deal (purchase 5, 6^th facial is free) since i was going consistently over a 6 week span. my skin is so smooth i can’t help but constantly touch it when i’m in the shower washing my face :) Smooth as… marble!
I do the microdermabrasion and peel and it’s the perfect combo for my skin. Some times, a few days later i do get a bit dry, but otherwise my skin doesn’t react to any of the products. Extractions are normal, some times no pain, sometimes a bit more pain, and always some tears that leak but she even wipes those up after the extractions haha
as most merchants prefer, cash is king and I usually try to accomodate to that, but she does accept credit card and she even text/​emails you confirmations and reminders.

Are you kidding me!!! This woman KNOWS skin. I’m an esthie myself and was wary when I first started coming here because I was religious to another facialist but booking with her had become increasingly difficult because of her dwindling work hours.
I was introduced to Melanie through a fellow skin enthusiast and was blown away. Melanie is conservative at first because she has to first know your skin but I’ve been with her for a year now with mounting aggressive treatments, my skin is flawless thanks to her. The friend who recommended her to me lives in Fremont with 3 toddlers and finds it difficult to make the trek down here but she sees my skin progression and is now trying to find childcare so she can come see Melanie.
Ayesha — I don’t know what the hell you’re expecting but Melanie is NOT a one-​star esthetician. I don’t know what kind of skin you came here with, whether you’re consistent with your at home regimen or if you expected miracles but you know better than to give Melanie one star. That’s just mean. Even if you didn’t get the results you were looking for, maybe your skin is particularly resistant and miracles can’t be performed but you don’t give someone one star.

Melanie is very knowledgeable about skincare. Highly recommend going to her for facials! She is very thorough and efficient. I also like that she is honest and doesn’t try to oversell anything. Will definitely go to her again.

Melanie is not confident in her abilities as an esthetician. I’ve been seeing her for 1 year and haven’t really seen any improvement in my face. Unfortunately, I would not recommend her for a facial in this area, even if you buy the Groupon.

I tried Melanie with some sort of typical coupon. She did such a wonderful job that I have been a client ever since. She really cares about her clients and their needs. I never feel pressured to buy products and she is very honest about what I need and does her best to save me money when she can. She has been such a wonderful and refreshing person to work with and I feel she generally cares about me and the quality of her work. I couldn’t be happier with my care and she has made such an improvement in skin. It has been absolutely amazing!

Melanie game me the most wonderful facial experience ever. She is well-​educated, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and gentle using the best products available to help your skin look its best. During your facial treatment — she gives a head, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage which I consider a bonus value for the cost and enjoyed it immensely. My skin feels and looks amazing. I am now on a great skin treatment program combined with regular facials. The best part I look younger than my true age and you can too! Thank you Melanie and I am sincerely forever grateful.

I got a Groupon for 3 micro-​dermabraisions from Geesoo Studio. I completed 2 sessions and so far I love it. Melanie is very thorough in addressing my skin condition and issues. She spent full 1 hour each time. She did blackhead extraction on my forehead and nose, and the result was great (though it hurt a little). My skin felt much better after each visit. Her studio is very clean and organized. I will definitely continue going to her for my regular facial even after I used up all my Groupon sessions.

Melanie is very attentive to your skin needs. I did the microdermabrasion and it was good.

I came in for a second treatment and it was much more pleasurable. Melanie conversed with me on many things and I felt more comfortable with my facial and her recommendations. Being in my 30s, I had only 3 facials in my life and I think it’s time to take care of my skin more.
Being that the black heads extraction hurts previously, Melanie tried different methods but in the end she had to do what was needed and I didn’t mind. No pain no gain. It actually didn’t hurt as much and enjoyable. Ohh the head massage was good especially after a long week of work.
I have one more session and will definitely be a regular. Thanks Melanie!

Been seeing her after a microderm abraison groupon thing. She’s knowledgeable and great to see for skin care.

I bought a groupon for microdermabrasion and from beginning to end, Melanie really took care of all my needs. She got to know me and my skin type and gave me some recommendations about what to look for in my skin care products.
The micrdermabrasion itself was really thorough and left my skin looking and feeling like it never has before. What i really like about Melanie was the time she took with the extractions. Even though it hurt and i was practically secretly crying (lol) it was worth it! My face has never ever felt that clean in my life!
Im going back to see her in a few weeks for my second session. Cant wait!

I have tried it all, but it never bets Melanie’s work.
Her personality is so genuine, she is a polite, caring and a friendly person. She would work with you to accommodate your timings and needs. I went to Melanie we I was pregnant and she tried so hard to make me comfortable during the session.
I have dry and sensitive skin. Melanie’s facials are so good that when she is done with me, I see clean, shiny and soft skin. Last time I went, I had a complimentary hot stone massage and it was so relaxing.
I live almost 18 miles away from her, I would rather drive so far to get facial with Melanie than to work with someone else and to see my money go to waste.
Her work is AMAZING.

Came here because of a really good groupon microdermabrasion combo pack deal. I was astonished at how they used the old Learning Game space to have so many salons in one at Sola Salon. Geesoo is right off the front entrance to the right hand side. I missed it the first time and walked in a huge circle.
It’s quaint and clean, the music helps with all the distractions outside. The first 2 times I came, the timings of my appointment were a tad off since her clients before were late. My first experience was a little shorter than the 75 minutes advertised, but appreciated the thorough care Melanie used when doing the microdermabrasions, and her extractions did not hurt which is rare to find. She did also give me an exfoliant sample of her Jan Mariani product as well. The first visit I almost did buy some products but held off because my skin is sensitive and I wasn’t sure how I would react.
I liked how I could text her freely for my next appointments, although we scheduled them right after the first one. She also sends reminders which is helpful.
My second visit was the best where I had a great massage and head massage, and it was longer than the others and I pretty much fell asleep. Those are the best facials, and my face felt soft and smooth like a baby’s butt!
Overall, I enjoyed my visits with Melanie, except sometimes I felt the way she made recommendations of how to take care of my skin felt like my mom nagging me. I also let her know that her groupon packages weren’t clear as it does not say it does not include for returning customers or if people bought them before, they were not eligible. The non-​groupon prices are pretty high which deters me from coming back even though it was a good facial. Would recommend checking out, especially if you live nearby.

I bought groupon deal for microdermabrasion, Melanie was great. She asked me about my skin care routine and she even give me more than a microdermabrasion treatment because my skin is so rough and oily with no extra cost.
I already make my next 2 appointments with her and I’m planning to stick with her for my future skin care.

I had no problem making appointment with melanie as she was very accomodating.
First of all, she asked me about me skin care habit. Since I don’t ever spend any time on skin care, it is fairly new to me. She put me at ease by give me some recommendation on how to get started to take better care of my skin. Since my work has been a bit stressful, I had some breakouts, and I wanted to take care of them. the facial was very relaxing and enjoyable. My skin came out very nice and soft. I am more of a talkative person so I did talk to her quite a bit and ask so many questions, but she was very patient and helpful. She genuinely cares about her clients, and that’s what it makes it so nice.
I have my next appointment already scheduled and can’t wait to see the improvement as I start taking baby step to my facial skin care.
If you don’t know anything, don’t be afraid to ask. Also, please let her know if you have any skin allergy to anything.

I am writing this review for a well-​deserved aesthetician who has made a big difference on my skin improvement. Melanie is like a lifesaver to me when it comes to my skin, I broke out a lot due to stress for the past few months, and also had really bad scars that has lowered my self-​esteem, but after going to Melanie, she has made a big change since then. I am seeing significant improvements after 3 microdermabrasions so far. Melanie is very passionate about her work, and she is the kind of person to go to when you are looking for excellent results after one treatment:) I am very happy with the treatments I got so far, and looking forward to further treatments and significant results.
