I love walking my dog to this park because there’s an ample amount of grass and is tucked away in this small neighborhood so there isn’t usually a lot of people here(as compared to other busier parks like Jollyman). There are two playsets(one for the smaller kids, one of the bigger kids), two water fountains, a half-court for basketball, and a couple of benches near the playsets — the rest of the park is grass(which my dog loves!). And the nice thing about there being less foot traffic here is that the grass is nicer(there’s less dirt patches or random bumps/ditches) and the park is much cleaner than others. Sometimes there are kids’ sports clubs(particularly soccer) or summer/after school camps here, so it becomes a bit crowded/busy during those hours, but if you come anytime before children get out of school(or people get off work), there’s very little people here, if any. Sometimes it gets really hot here because all the trees are on the edge of the park, so if you’re walking on the grass, there’s no shade at all. Most of the benches aren’t located near enough to the big trees to get much shade either. But hey, it’s California, the sun never really gets that bad, right? :P
