KR Guitar Lessons

Kenia is an outstandingly gifted musician. I started taking lessons with her a couple of months ago, and I cannot be happier. I started from zero, since I had not studied music since I was I child, and I did not have any guitar experience. I am doing a huge progress thanks to her amazing lessons. I am really motivated and inspired by her classes since we started.
Kenia is very knowledgeable, and an excellent and dedicated teacher, with experience with a broad variety of styles. She has also adapted to my musical taste, incorporating some of my favorite songs into our lesson plan. I am currently working on some Belle and Sebastian songs that I love, and I am so happy to be able to play them on guitar and ukulele. I am very grateful with my results and to have Kenia as a music and guitar teacher. I can only strongly recommend her to anyone who loves music and would like to have a truly personalized experience with guitar lessons.

Kenia is an accomplished guitar player and also an excellent accompanist. I have asked her to accompany me for a recital and it was one of the smoothest performances I have ever done. Throughout our practices, she makes sure that I’m comfortable and provides guidance so I can sing to the best of my abilities. I couldn’t have asked for a better accompanist and teacher.

I hired Kenia several years ago to teach me Traditional Cuban and Flamenco music, and had a great experience. Her level of expertise is unmatched, along with her versatility in playing and teaching a multitude of styles in addition to what I originally wanted to learn, like Jazz, Classical, and Rock.
I was able to learn to play, very well, songs like «Obsesion» (Standard Bolero), and «Tres Notas Para Decir te Quiero» by Vicente Amigo (Spanish Flamenco Virtuoso).
I recommend hiring Kenia whatever level you may be at with guitar. She’s a great teacher, and is very patient and knowledgeable.
