Essie is a great esthetician. I have been going going to her for facials for about 10 years and every time I leave her salon refreshed and relaxed with my skin looking 5 – 10 younger. She will take out all the blackheads without pain and leaving any red marks, she will do a soothing face massage, she will put the mask on and instead of wondering away, she will continue with hands massage. I truly enjoy the experience every time.

I love this salon! Diane helped me both times — the first for a haircut, and the second to dye my hair. I wasn’t too sure what I wanted when I came in, but she made my hair look amazing! Would definitely recommend.

Essie is the eyebrow queen. She’s not as fast as other people, but that means she’s doing something right ;) She’s excellent at making sure you have the eyebrow perfect shape for your face! And she listens to you! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyebrows now.

I usually don’t write reviews but I love this salon! Most salons are not open on sundays, but this one was! I am very very VERY happy with my experience! As soon as I went in, Diane gave me a warm welcome and offered me a small drink!
I really am not aware of all the hair styles that are out there but I knew I wanted a change and layered. Diane knew exactly what I was talking about and did an amazing job with my hair! It wasn’t too short. She is also very sweet and easy to talk to! I had a very nice conversation with her!
I know I will definitely go back and I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

I just got my haircut from here and I am so happy with my experience! I had a long lunch break, and with a quick phone call and 5 minutes later I was in a chair getting my hair cut. Diane took great care of me. She was so nice and my hair looks great. I’ll definitely be returning here, not just for myself, but I’ll be bringing my daughter as well.
Another plus about Mint Salon is that they are very reasonably priced too!

I was afraid to get a haircut as I have been to another salon that cut off way too much of my hair, so this is the salon I decided to come to after not cutting my hair for about a year! Diane was very sweet and kept you interested in what she was talking about. For my next hair cut, I will definitely come back here. My haircut made my hair look a lot healthier and Diane cut off the right amount of hair. Everything was great!

I have been a customer for 25 plus years and Christine and Jennifer have been very accommodating with my requests. The entire staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. Walk– ins are welcome and they are open 7 days a week. Easy to get to and parking is free. I have referred many customers over the years and they continue to stay with Mint Salon & Spa.

I am so happy that I found this hidden gem! I was definitely impressed the first time Diane did my hair, and my second visit today was not a disappointment. Diane is wonderful with color, cut and highlights. I’ve definitely found my new go to hairstylist and salon. They also have an esthetician that does waxing, threading and facials, as well as someone to do mani/​pedis. This is a full service salon, not a nail salon with other services. Try them out, you’ll have a great experience.

I shopped around for a hair & nail place for a while and I’m so glad I found this salon! They offer quite a few services and the staff is incredibly kind. Today I got a great new hairdo and a pedicure from Diane. I will definitely keep going back!

I love this place for many reasons! Been going here for about 8 months. We have come in about 4 times.
First, Anna is really fun and loves to cut hair and does a great job on me and my really difficult hair, and my 2 young daughters’ hair. She offers suggestions, but also listens to what we want, and is very thorough and a very nice person to spend an hour with!
Additionally, this place is super family friendly! The technicians are always amazing with the kids, who I usually have with me — they have a great time and never make me feel bad for bringing kids to a salon.
Did I mention really good prices? And lots of availability? I only with I could get my husband to come in!

Anna did an excellent job with my hair!
It was layered the way I wanted it to be, and it was the right length! She was also very sweet, and not overbearing.
The person who did my sister’s hair though, did a TERRIBLE job. She was wayyy too chatty, and didn’t focus on straightening her hair properly. At the end of the session, my sister’s hair ended up being fuzzy and straight in random places. It looked FUNNY. I’m glad she at least cut her hair to the right length!
I guess the quality of your hair cut depends on which barber you get, especially with this salon! I would personally recommend Anna!
If you want CONSISTENT good quality hair cuts, I would pay the extra money and go to Lily’s.

Jennifer did my hair and make up for my wedding in June 2015!!!
Her rates were very reasonable and my two friends had her hair and make up done by Jennifer for a wedding a couple years ago and referred me to her.
Jennifer is very nice and patient. I showed her pictures and told her I wanted an updo for my wedding. During the trial, I liked the makeup but the hair was a bit too high up (I wanted an updo) but regardless it was still very pretty (I had an engagement photo shoot on the same day and everyone complimented my hair and makeup).
On the day of the wedding, Jennifer came early to the hotel where I was staying to set up her equipment and she did hair and make up for me (bride), my maid of honor, my mother and mother in law. Everyone was happy with the result.
My hair was completely different that what I had during trial as I kept asking her to adjust the updo lower, and my bangs were acting up!!! The result was amazing!!! I had lots of compliments about my hair-​do. The best part was the makeup!!! I didn’t ask her to do a touch up but my makeup lasted ALL DAY!!! I had my makeup from around 10am and I still had great makeup at midnight despite the day was super hot and I thought my makeup was melting away with the sweat!!! wow!!! My photos look amazing and everyone said I didn’t look like a fake barbie wearing inches of makeup!!! I really like the products that she used as my skin looked glowing and she blended the color very well matching my skin tone!
I can’t speak for the haircut but I would definitely recommend Jennifer for your wedding day hair and makeup!

Had A very good experience for my first time coming here. They treated me very good and made me feel like they truly care about their clients. I had a mani and a pedi done by Rose who did a wonderful job and got my eyebrows done by Essie who is an esthetician. The last place I had gone to left my eyebrows thin and Essie fixed them to make them look a little thicker. I now have a more natural eyebrow look and I am definitely coming back! I am not letting anyone else touch my eyebrows if it’s not Essie. Next time I come in I will be getting a facial by Essie and we will see how that goes!

Diane is the best! I’ve been coming to Mint for the past few months for my regular hair cut. Diane is patient, friendly and does a great job with my hair.

I went in for a trim, and was completely on budget. They did a great job. I wish I knew my hair dresser’s name because she was very patient and caring, and had me completely at ease. I have had some expereinces were 1 inch turned into 5 inches of hair being chopped off so have been apprehensive since that horrid expereince. She was great! And my hair looked great for my friend’s wedding with just her haircut and blow-​dry!

I came here once my waxing lady Essie transfered over here from a previous salon. I’ve been seeing Essie since I was 15 years old. For the last 16 years she has been doing my eyebrows — which look great! I’ve had other services done by her as well, including additional waxing and facial — both were excellent.
I decided to break away from my then current hairstylist at Faux Salon in downtown Campbell and save some money by getting my hair done by Jennifer. Two of my friends already had their hair done by her but I was skeptical with my curly, dry, frizzy hair but I took the leap of faith and got it done! I get so many compliments on my hair color and cut now, at half the price! I have total faith in Jen — I don’t even tell her what I want to do with it — I tell her to decide and it always comes out great! Through my visits at the salon, she has become one of my good friends.
However, due to our schedules not coordinating I have started to see Diane for my hair. She always does an excellent job with my color (I let her choose the color she thinks it’s best) and it consistently turns out great! I also see her for my haircuts which is terrific with her layering skills. I even tried out bangs for awhile that she made look good. But her styling skills are out of this world. She takes her time and sometimes switches it up for me depending on my mood, with styles I would never have thought look good on me.
I started getting pedicures as a special treat to myself from Rose a couple years ago. She is so sweet and does a terrific job! She takes her time on the pedicure which I rarely see at other salons. I’ve also paid to have her do some Reflexology on me and it truly works!
I chat with Christine (co-​owner with Jen and Jen’s mom) when I’m waiting. She has such interesting stories to share about her life. She has done my nails a few times for special events (I’m not very girly you can say) and I always see people trying to get an appointment specifically with her for nails cause she does such a great job.
Even the staff (Farnaz & Anna) that I do not get services from are always so friendly. It’s such a welcoming environment.
I have recommended this place to my co-​workers and friends who now go here on a regular basis. I don’t get the negative reviews some people put on here. Yes, sometimes stylists are running late, but that is to expected in a very busy business and requests that weren’t expected from certain clients. Some are easier than others I’m sure. At least give this place a try and you won’t regret it!

i got my hair cuts for the past year and i never regret going there. It is wonderful. The services are good, people are really polite and friendly. Diane cuted my hair and it turn out great. I wanted short hair and i used to have pretty long hair. The cut turn out great, and Diane made me not regret getting short hair. The price was good and fair. I do recommand this salon very much. It is best to book a appointment before hand, i saw people with no appointment booked waited for a long time.

NOT happy with this place at all. The location is convenient and the actual store is nice and clean, but that’s about it.
First of all, I walked in and asked if they could remove my gel manicure. They said yes and did a fine job, but ended up charging me $ 20 (the price of a manicure) instead of the $ 10 that the gel removal is supposed to cost, ALL BECAUSE she added one layer of clear top coat. And she didn’t even let me know that it would be considered a manicure, because if she had said something, obviously I would have asked for a color (or just told her not to do it at all). Not cool.
After that, I got my eyebrows and lip waxed by someone else. She was friendly and talkative, but spent way more time trying to fill in my eyebrows than actually shaping/​waxing them. The end result is kind of messy and barely looks like anything was waxed, and the arch is super rounded which I do NOT like.
But the part that really ruined my day was the lip wax. After she was done, it was burning a TON but I thought that was just my skin being sensitive. However, I checked in my car mirror and saw that whole bits of my upper lip skin had been RIPPED OUT. Literally, I have grooves/​indents in my upper lip that are red and look like little craters because skin was ripped out. This has never ever happened before (and I get waxed about once a month, not here though) and my upper lip is BURNING. Why didn’t the lady say anything when I left? Why did they use such shitty wax? Why didn’t she ask if my skin was extra sensitive/​if I’m on my period/​if I’m using acne medications? I’m not, but that’s still something that ANY legit salon would ask. Now, I have to go to the dermatologist and pray he has time to see me before Christmas so I won’t have a zillion crater-​shaped scars on my face.
Anyway, to sum it up, this place sucked. Clearly, Unilocal reviews have let me down — I am definitely, 100% never coming back, and I would warn anyone else from coming here, too.

My review for this salon is based mainly on Jennifer, the lead hair stylist.
If you’re like me, you wait to grow out your hair and when it is time to get it cut you cringe just thinking about what any hair stylist is going to do with that pair of scissors. For me, Jenn is the only person I trust (besides the occasional one inch trims I ask my mom to do) to cut my hair. I like her so much I followed her from the old location on Saratoga in West san Jose to this newer location on De Anza Blvd in Cupertino. Jenn trims my hair how I would like her to and she makes suggestions on how to keep my hair healthy as well. She even remembers some personal things about me too which is sweet.
As for the salon itself, they keep it very clean. There are generally other people when I come here but it is never too busy. Walk-​ins are welcome, but if you want to have Jenn cut your hair I would definitely recommend you to make an appointment.

I don’t think they have the best talent, so maybe people get lucky who write good reviews. I got mani and blow-​dry. I’m used to trusting Unilocal reviews and walking into any 4stars salon and getting a pretty amazing blow-​out and mani. This was not the case. Go somewhere else.
–Mani -$ 15– took 30 – 35 minutes and the shape isn’t even even. The lady had to fix it twice.
–Blowout — — $ 35 — Diane washed and started to dry my hair. 45 – 50 minutes in, my hair looked more frizzy and barely touched but very dry without even being brushed well. She was so talkative, and didn’t know the basics of blow-​drying. Losing my patience, I finally asked if someone else could do my hair as I was running out of time. The 2^nd girl was much better but she said she could’ve done it better if my hair was still wet. Her colleague royally messed up. They are also very unapologetic.
