Also lied to…
At airport and called for an Über ride. I step outside and guy states that’s he’s Über black A’s my ride.
Fine I get in. Definitely worst Über black car I’ve ever seen.
Drive drivers like a bat out of hell to my destination and then asks for my card which confirms that I was lied to. Guy charges me the Über black rate.
I’ll be contesting the charge.

Very unfortunate incident where I was lied to by the owner. After assuring me the Taxi would be on time, I received a call 5 mins after the scheduled arrival time telling me to wait another 5 mins. After 15 minutes I called back and the proprietor lied and told be the cab driver was stuck in trafffic. The cab arrived 20 minutes late, pretty much screwing up my appointment. When questioned, the cab driver told me that he was actuallly from ²⁴⁄₇ yellow cab and that he had received a text 1 minute before the scheduled pick up time from the proprietor (Mr. Paramjit Singh) asking him to help out an pick me up.
The proprietor had lied to me about traffic. I’m never using this service again. Completely unethical, disrespectful, disgraceful behavior.
Stay away unless you’re prepared to be late and lied to.

Beware of over-​charging and LOUD phone calls.
Their website says: «TAXI ASAP drivers are well skilled and trained. Your driver will be polite, professional and courteous.» I find this to be a flat-​out lie.
Hands down my ride with the driver in the ivory town car with tan leather interior was the most obnoxious drive I’ve EVER had. I travel to the bay area for business at least once a month and I will never, ever, ever use this company again and I will Unilocal about it and tell all my colleagues and clients to steer clear of this company. My driver talked SO LOUDLY on his cell phone to friends, family, incoming customers, his proctologist and everyone from here to Texas on my 45 minute ride from Santa Clara to downtown SF. I couldn’t even carry on my own business call he was so loud and rude. NOT to mention, he was using two cell phones, texting and calling WHILE driving, obviously my SAFETY was of no interest for him.
I asked the driver how much it would be when I got in the car as there was no meter — he refused to give me a quote and there was listing of price or anything in the car, so it was anyone’s guess what the tab was going to be. When we got into the city and I asked him to let me out (as soon as I could), I asked him how much so that I could pay the bill and he still didn’t tell me, just reached for my credit card and I refused to give it to him until he told me the total. Then he made up some number and told me — then asked how much I would like to put on my card, AS IF HE WAS GETTING A TIP for being a jerk off. I gave him about $ 5 on a $ 75 tab and that was WAY too generous.
So — Taxi ASAP or Yellow Cab Co or whatever multitude of names you call yourself or phone numbers you offer so that unhappy customers don’t know who they’re calling and the crap service they’re getting — Tell your drivers to CLASS IT UP and be «polite & professional» as your website suggests. Maybe you should get a call center to take incoming order from customers instead of making your drivers do it and risk MY life texting and answering calls while driving. Good luck future customers. I’d recommend getting a rental car instead, it’s cheaper anyway.
