Three Oaks kind of hovers between 3 and 4 stars for me. It’s small compared to the other parks in Cupertino. There are two playgrounds, a patch of grass, a few tables, and a swing set, but this park seems less well-kept as other places. The cement path goes diagonally through the middle of the park, so I see lots of people walking on the street circling the park for«exercise». The grassy area is also kind of bumpy and hilly because of the tree roots, but I’ve seen people play soccer or throw a frisbee around on occasion. There are a few parking spots on the south and east sides of the park, but you can park anywhere along the adjacent streets. There is a daycare center that brings the kids here to play and they can get kind of loud or noisy. There also seems to be a group of ladies that come here to do Taichi classes sometimes and blare their music, so that’s kind of counter-productive to the tranquility of the park… Overall, foot traffic is average and the park is decent, but it’s not my favorite park. But there are a lot more trees per square foot at Three Oaks, so the park is cooler and has more shade than some of the other parks.

It’s not the cleanest or biggest park out there, but it’s in a nice cozy area surrounded by houses. I used to come with with my grandpa when I was little, and now I bring my dog here to play and run around on the grass. He loves it!

Tucked away by the foothills off of Stelling in Cupertino. Beautiful old park. Appears to have earned its moniker from the huge white oaks on the premises. This is another one of Cupertino’s little known gems. Plenty of room to play.
