Don’t go to this dental office. You can not believe how much they will charge you. You will get rip off. For one tooth crowing not include root canal, they charge me around $ 3000.

Dr. Tong has a passion for his work and has an amazing dexterity with teeth. We would know it well, after he’s fixed several problems with teeth in my family.
My oldest son needed to take out his wisdom teeth, and my dentist in Palo Alto introduced us to a specialist, who eventually made my son faint in the restroom and recover slowly. So instead, I sent my 2^nd son to Dr. Tong. It went extremely easily and smoothly.
Also, my 3^rd boy had an orthodontist treatment where his orthodontist took an x-​ray at a wrong angle, so he suggested us to undergo surgery to pull out the crooked tooth and then plant a new tooth in. I was skeptical, so I brought my 3^rd son to Dr. Tong for 2^nd opinion. Dr. Tong saw the problem right away and discovered another route to fix the tooth, where he performed a surgery to pull down the crooked tooth instead of pull it out. Amazingly my son didn’t feel any pain during or even after the surgery. Everything was done beautifully and cheaply.
And finally, thirty years ago, my dentist back then used mercury to fill up cavities. However, mercury is not good for a cancer patient, so my dentist in Palo Alto used the newest material to replace the mercury. However, it was still hurting after 2 months, so I changed to Dr. Tong again for another replacement and it won’t hurt after he did the work. What a big difference!
My family lives in Palo Alto, but Dr. Tong’s office is in Cupertino. Cupertino is far for us, but we love being patients of Dr. Tong because we can always expect the highest performance from him. We really appreciate his generosity, kindness, amazing skill, and knowledge.

Dr. Tong goes to mission trips and gives away a lot of excellent dentistry. He is a Godly good man. As a dentist myself, I admire Dr. Tong a lot. Hopefully I will join his missionary team some day.

We were looking for a dentist closer to home in Cupertino. Dr John Tong is a gem in the rough. He is an extremely thorough and honest dentist with great beside manners. Our whole family will be switching our services to him! My daughter was needing to go through phase 2 for orthodontia work– he gave us a thorough consult. An overall positive experience!

I’ve been coming to Dr. Tong’s office since forever! I know a lot of people hate or fear going to the dentist, but I love coming in every six months for cleaning because of Dr. Tong and the rest of the staff. Super fast and painless. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and always answer any questions I have about my oral health. They always use the latest equipment and technology. Scheduling appointments are easy and everyone in the office is very friendly and approachable. They also speak both English and Mandarin which is a plus!

I was wigging out about my teeth one day and bumped into Irene Tong (John’s Wife); and mentioned about my teeth predicament. And the Tongs are family friends. :)
She said no worries come stop in. I dropped in, filled out the usual paper work. Got my teeth x-​ray, and they’ve got an advanced system.
Turns out i had nothing to worry about which was a good thing since it’ll take me awhile to get an appointment at my regular dental place (agape dental).
A friend recently finished her dental program at foothill and is currently working with Dr. Tong’s dental office.
