This is a very solemn and sacred place for Army Rangers. Probably the most moving aspect of this memorial are the bricks with the names of past Rangers engraved on them. While not all the names are those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice for God and Country, many are there. If you are looking for a particular name on a brick, there is a directory on the grounds. There are several smaller monuments at the memorial that recognize specific campaigns that Rangers were involved in — Panama, Vietnam, WWll, etc. Both the Ranger Creed and Rogers Standing Orders engraved on the two stone pillars leading to the center of the memorial. The Maneuver Center of Excellence(bldg 4, the infantry center for those old school Benning folks) While there is plenty of parking, it’s not immediately at the memorial — but probably only a 2 – 3 minute walk to the site
