Normally I shrug off a bad dining experience in fast food, especially at jack in the box. From extreme waits(Bellingham) to homeless people babbling incoherently at you from the next table(bellingham, sea tac, marysville), I take it in stride. After all, $ 3 for 2 bacon cheese burgers doesnt confuse anyone with fantasies of fine dining. But this particular location I visited for the first time blew me away. Epic fail. –Cashier seemed perplexed at the technology before him and spent an excessive amount of time entering a 3 item order. To be fair he seemed like a friendly enough guy, but rather inept at the task required. –Immediately and repeatedly asked for no mayo. Was later asked by kitchen staff if I wanted extra mayo or what. With a half dozen people behind the counter, no line inside or in the drive thru, it still managed to take an excessive amount of time to put together 2 burgers and a drink. –Quoted wrong total before being told ‘Oh wait theres tax’… Tax huh, Ive never heard of this so called ‘tax’, i’ll try it but I wont like it. — I work retail so I know the process of managers making change for registers, pretty easy stuff. Not so here. I paid with a 20 and ended up with $ 1.50 in dimes and nickles and pennies,(they ran out of quarters and 1’s and so did the other register apparently…). Doesnt everyone just love getting a pocket full of coins in change from a single transaction? –Bathroom was dark and foul(a standard at jack in the box) and had a nice hole in the wall where someone had thrown a fist. What a festive touch! –No paper towels or blow dryer in bathroom, ‘Restrooms checked hourly’ more like semi-annually. –Go to fill my drink and run into a hopeless mélange of straws, ketchup, napkins and strawberry soda scattered tastefully. Unable to locate a single medium size lid. Pesky common sizes! –They actually got my order right(Shocking, no?) but neglected to include a single napkin in my to-go bag. Oh well no big deal, that would require two things actually go right. Cant be having that. Why do I keep going to jack in the box? Is it the price? a craving? Masochism? Or all of the above? All I know is this county needs a Carls Jr.

What a shit hole. Save your need for low quality crap food for another anonymous horror show the next exit down the freeway. This place is a slow-motion conveyor belt through fast food hell. My greatest regret is that I didn’t digest my lunch fast enough to return it to them in the sewage-overflowing washroom.

I went to this Jack in the Box for a late night snack. The staff was very friendly, but the service was a little slow. I got everything I asked for and it tasted pretty good. I was a little disappointed by the skimpiness of the cheese on the bacon and cheddar potato wedges. But all in all, not too bad.

First time visit to Jack in the Box. Based on their TV adds I had high hopes of something good, but I was dissapointed with the food. No need to visit another Jack anytime soon.

This place is like Ground Hog Day. Every time I’ve gone here it is like the staff was hired that morning with no restaurant experience. For the location, this place has high traffic and could be great place to dine, although for now some may regret going there. Order taking is slow, the wait is long, orders delayed, forgotten or wrong. Pop dispensers, condiment and utensil bins empty. The dining area is cluttered with garbage, tables dirty, garbage cans overflowing. On duty staff seen taking breaks in dining area amidst the mess and chaos of rush hours, staff seen smoking outside view of customers entering the building, management poor. The store is small, customers enter from stage right to the registers. Those that want/need to see the menu must wait until they get to the counter, this slows down the process, especially when there is only one person taking orders. The lobby is very small observed people stuck in the rain waiting to get in. When customers and orders are backing up often the manager can be heard talking from the office instead of aiding the person at the counter or kitchen staff. Arguments can be heard between staff members mainly due to their frustration. Wouldn’t be surprised if the franchise were not taken away from the holder.
