Cool Down Air Conditioning and Refrigeration LLC

Cool Down was recommended to me by a friend, when I told her that my landlord had sent an Air Conditioning technician who wanted me to spend $ 270 on having the coils cleaned due to them being dirty. I told my landlord I wanted a second opinion, and Luis Coronado came over to inspect my unit. I have a demanding job, so I could not meet until after 7 PM and he agreed to accommodate me. He came to my home, AFTER HOURS, and told me that the other technician had been wrong about the coils being dirty. He took pictures and showed me the coils and explained how they were not dirty, and showed me other pictures of dirty coils. He also showed me how the unit was more than ten years old, and for that age of unit, they don’t recommend cleaning the coils with acid because it can destroy the unit, which would then could have been my responsibility! He inspected the whole unit, and discovered that the drain pan was a little clogged, and so he vacuumed it out. All told, the cost was only $ 75 for an after hours, last minute visit. Luis is my air conditioning hero. I highly recommend them.
