Of all the places in Cynthiana to eat, I find this one to be the best! My husband lived in Cynthiana for years, and we live in Falmouth about 25 miles north of Cynthiana. This is a favorite place for us all. The food is always well prepared, and fresh. Most of the time we see the owner right there amongst her employees, working along side of them. She, and they, are always friendly and offer smiles. I often get the Fettuccine; it’s delicious! My husband likes something called the Superghetti, which is basically loaded spaghetti. Salads are simple, but very fresh. You won’t be disappointed!

Leono’s is a staple in Cynthiana. Awesome pizza and great lasagna! It’s certainly got the hometown atmosphere which is nice. It’s family-friendly and is run by very nice folks. Waiters/waitresses are always nice and hardworking. I’m not too upset they don’t offer beer.(Get it to go and enjoy it elsewhere with friends/family) Until I moved out of the area, I was visiting 2 – 4 times a month.

Go here for a good Italian meal and avoid Angilo’s. Service and food are good and comforting. Gets s little busy sometimes.

Contacted them to let them know we were stopping for lunch with about 15 – 20 people while on our motorcycle ride. Everyone in our group let me know they will remember Leono’s and be back when they are in the area. Very pleased with food and prices, ample parking also. Will have this place on our radar for sure in the future

I’ve been here a few times since we moved to the area and have grown to adore it. Leono’s isn’t the best pizza place I’ve ever been to, but everything about it is charming: the high school employees, the families dining together, the overall cheerful atmosphere, the arcade games in the back corner, the jukebox, and the classic pizza joint menu offerings… and the fact that it’s pretty much the only good pizza place in town that isn’t take-out like Snappy Tomato or Papa John’s. The pizza itself isn’t amazing by Chicago pizza standards, BUT, it IS pretty darn good in its own way. Although you can get a variety of toppings and crusts(thin, pan), my husband and I typically order a thin crust cheese pizza and we always drool over it. The cheese breadsticks are pretty phenomenal too. The bills at the end of our meals aren’t too bad — typically less than $ 20 for two of us with an appetizer, pizza, and drinks. I’ll probably be eating pizza here for the rest of my life. Thank God it’s good pizza! Whew.

If your ever traveling through Cynthiana KY make sure to stop here for a bite to eat. It’s the best italian restaraunt around! Some of my favorites are the Hot Ham and Cheese(yummy), lasagna with cheese bread stick(delicious) and the pan crust pizza(mouth watering) I just love this hometown restaraunt and the friendly owners who greet you by name.

First of all I will note that Leonos does not serve beer. The food was good, but not great. The service was casual and adequate but not fast. The atmosphere feels like a smallish restaurant from the 90’s. The ambient noise was a little louder than I expected I used the DB meeter on my phone and got an average between 76db and 83db. I am interested in coming back and trying some of their other offerings.

After two recent visits, both the service, and food quality have been very consistent and very above normal for this type of establishment. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. I find that I like the thin crust more then the pan pizza, so if you don’t like one, I encourage you to try the other. Just has an overall different taste. They have a jukebox which isn’t overly annoying and an arcade and pinball machine which are a nice touch. I have no experience to the delivery staff for locals. But I know this has been a long established community restaurant and the owner is very involved in the business operations, and has a well respected and friendly staff of young people working their. Keep up the good work.

If you happen to stumble upon Leono’s(or Cynthiana, Kentucky) you MUST eat here. There aren’t many options in this town but this place will rock your socks off. I grew up here, ate Leono’s as much as I could, and now that I live in Chicago I stop here every single time I am there visiting family. The Lasagna is my number one go-to. Their thin crust pizza(cracker thin) is perfect every. single. time. The hot ham and cheese is one of a kind. If you get the breadsticks, indulge yourself and add cheese. Your stomach will thank you. Chef salad is good – full of ham, cheese, and everything else you would want. I wish I could have Leono’s shipped to Chicago.

Nice, clean, family style restaurant in a small town. We were traveling and found this place as one of the few open on Sunday night. I had the baked spaghetti and a side salad and the meal was good. We bought a cheesecake to go and found a park to watch the sunset. Staff was friendly and quick.
