No complaints on this side I was greeted right away, the waitress was nice and very professional she made me feel welcomed. The food was great it’s hard to find restaurants around where I live but this one is worth the travel. I highly recommend this restaurant you get your money’s worth and the environment makes you want to get up and dance lol. Definitely coming back wit a bigger group next time positive vibes all around

Its rare to find a Dominican food restaurant over by my side that makes me feel like I’m having home cooked meal! I must say I am a fan, big fan indeed! If you’re planning on dinning in and driving, be prepared to feed the meter. This area can be a bit congested but not impossible to find parking. The place is moderately sized but seating can feel a bit snugged. The Grubbb: I’ve had their food prior to dinning in and was impressed. By popularity their rotisserie chicken is definitely their star, but they definitely have a few co-stars if you ask me! I ordered their lunch special of Pollo Guisado with Yuca(Stew Chicken with Cassava $ 6, can’t beat that). It was everything I hoped and craved that day. I must say they are pretty consistent with flavor and their yuca is always delicious. My cousin ordered rice, beans sweet plantains with a green salad. She had no complaints either. She raved about their beans; I tasted them and I agree with the rave. The Service: They need work. The waitresses are pretty nice, but seems like they aren’t use to a constant rotation in serving tables. I noticed a table leave because no one came over to take their order. Hopefully they decide to have a better system on waiting the tables. If you decide to come in for an exceptional dinning experience, don’t set yourself up! But if you’re looking for good authentic dominican food; this is your place! Although the place needs to find a better system to dispatch orders and serve their tables, I would definitely return! The food will keep me coming back. Tip: bring cash; if you pay with credit they will charge you taxes.

Local dominican spot! On a busy street. Have to pay for parking meters… Very nice place. Pretty décor nothing fancy. Has a lot of seats available waitress. Steam table in the entrance. Their food was good. I love their Moro! The yuca as well. They make these bake ribs which fall off the bone. I have their stew chicken which I thought was okay I’ve had better. The potato salad was okay too. The pepper steak was good. Their bake chicken is amazing! Next time I go I’m planning on having chicharon de pollo see how that goes. Over all I Definitely a recommend this place.

This establishment is located on a busy street in the Cypress Hills area of Brooklyn. Rico Pollo specializes in Dominican and Latin American cuisine. The food is this restaurant is true and authentic and also very delicious. Everything is perfectly seasoned. Today I ordered a 5 dollar lunch special that included a generous helping of rice, beans, and sweet plantains. Aesthetically, the restaurant isn’t very appealing. It’s pretty small and always packed, it also doesn’t have much natural light so it’s too dark and stuffy for my taste. My waitress today was very friendly and sweet, but I noticed other tables having issues with their waitresses. I have heard that they are not particularly known for good service. However, I do recommend this place for their food; hands down!

I eat here like at least 2 – 3 times a week. The food is reasonably priced and its a lot of it. I’m definitely a fan. I wouldnt recommend the delivery service though because there extremely busy. So I used call ahead and pick it up.

Terrible service, rude staff!!! Almost two hours for my order to arrive, and they didn’t make it their business to try and give us a discount! They had me on the phone for like 15 mins giving me the run arounds!!! NEVERAGAIN! Avoid this place at all cost!

The chicken is seasoned to perfection, the portion size is enough for 2 – 3 ppl if you get the delivery combo which consisted of white rice, beans, a whole chicken and a salad. My boyfriend and I also bought for dinner one night the peppers and onions with steak beans and rice & a whole chicken with rice and beans on the side. It was enough to feed 3 – 4 people and only cost us $ 15. Amazing food at an unbeatable price. Love it

Highly disappointed!!! Poor customer service !!! I am a regular a Rico Pollo simple because their food tastes great no matter what I try it is always delicious. My experience this past Sunday was simply frustrating. After waiting almost an hour to receive my food, my beans weren’t packed in my order therefore I had to wait another half hour for those to come in. This was mainly upsetting because the beans were for my 3 year old daughter. She didn’t eat anything until they came in which means she waited an hour and a half to eat dinner!!! After receiving my complete order I called back to speak to a manager and whom ever was on the phone as «manger» is as unprofessional as the person who took my order and packed it. He tried pinning the error on me by telling me my order did not come with beans when my receipt say rice, beans and chicken. Really??? Speak about poor customer service. This restaurant needs some serious customer service 101. By the way the ladies who take the orders at least places customers on hold twice before taking your actual order, its super loud in the back ground that explains all the errors while taking orders. to finalize the food is GREAT but the customer service SUCKS!!!

The food smelled and looked really delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff attentive. The only downfall was the food. I ordered chicken, rice and beans and there were so many«shells» in the beans. I kept having to spit it out. Sift through the beans before you serve it please.

The first time I ordered from here I had the chicken soup which was very good. However, the next time I ordered the cheeseburger deluxe with a salad instead of fries. They took FOREVER to come. When they did I opened my food to find a burger with a half slice of cheese on it. The«salad» was a pile of mixed greens with one tomato in it. Soooo am I supposed to put the tomato on my «deluxe» burger or cut it into tiny pieces for my salad. Confused. Also the entire bottom bun was soggy. So I took it off and had to eat my burger like a effin tostada. I’ll just stick with the soup.

There are several latin restaurants in this area but I must say this is definitely one of the best ones. They are dominican based and their selection is great. All their food is fresh and the place is very well maintained.

Really good food. But they are so slow! I’ve walked out numerous times. This is a classic example of poor management. Lax attention and the line just keeps lengthening with no mind paid by the employees. If their organization was as good as their cooking I would be here daily. But it’s not :-/

First time eating Dominican food. I ordered rice and rotisserie chicken. I didn’t realize it would be half the chicken! They were consistently busy which is always a good sign. I would eat here again but not without my boyfriend who speaks Spanish. Not easy to order otherwise. Overall decent prices and good food.

The food here is delish. You can smell the food down the block. The whole chicken can run you $ 9 – 10 on a lazy day you dont want to cook, I pick up chicken and make some rice. EASYDINNER. My all time favorite is the ribs, must try !!! The only reason why Indidnt give five stars… it is a huge mess in there. The set up is uncomfortable and everyone is in everyones way. The waitresses are not the smartes in the bunch and usually forget something and take FOREVER !!! FOODISEXCELLENTTHOUGH
