BevMo always has what I am looking for, seldom do I leave disappointed. Wish their $.5 wine sales changed up, because it feels like the same wines have been on the sale for the past three months.

This Review is for anyone wondering If they can return anything that they bought that they didn’t like or need that was unopened. If you buy an item that is on the 5 cent sale and bring both back unopened you only get half of what you pay for, even with original receipt. I bought 2 bottles of champagne, one 17.95 the other for .05 cents as part of the sale but only was able to get 9.72 back. Dan the manager explained the policy, super nice guy, very much enjoyed talking with him. Loved all the staff there, just didn’t love the policy. If it isn’t a 5 cent sale item they will return your money in full, so anyone who is planning on buying, be careful with your decision.

It seemed like everyone hated their job, it was the middle afternoon and dead so maybe that’s why? They just looked at me with no smiles or greets(which, I don’t mind at all). But it was nice getting everything I needed in one place without small talk and fake smiles. I would still come back.

I had a lousy experience at Cypress store today. The bevmoclub was registered online one day prior of purchase and staff was unwilling to adjust price stating it takes over 30 days to load on system. I was able to have price adjusted after issue was handled by store manager. The end result is I will purchase my liquor elsewhere. Customer service lacks at this store and competitors offer better selection and price.

It’s 5 days before Christmas and they have run out of gift cards. No sort of empathy or care on behalf of the employees, just a simple«we’re sold out», «you should have come earlier». Let me say that I am shocked any retailer would run out of gift cards because that is easy, guaranteed revenue. However, this is not the only Bev Mo location and there was no offer to see if the next closest locations have any available. No customer service will lead to no customers. It’s a damn shame this place can’t seem to figure that out.

We just bought a shot glass for my father’s birthday and we find out that it is shattered to pieces. We had just bought it 5 minutes ago, so we go back into the store to exchange it, but the manager is the only one who has the authority to do so. This is understandable, but what troubles us is that the manager decides to talk to another customer first even though we were there first. The cashier who is helping us, keeps trying to get the manager’s attention to help us with our dilemma, but the manager continues to talk to the other customer for another 15 minutes. Then the manager finally comes to us and tells us that we didn’t even need to wait for manager approval. Thank you for the waste of time.

Hello– I went up to the cashier today with 2 twelve packs of beer in a shopping cart and left them in the cart thinking she would take care of scanning them. I presented my bevmo card and stood by the atm reader to get ready to pay. The cashier asked me how she could help me ! She is a cashier and I have just walked up with 2 boxes of beer, presented my bevmo card and moved to the atm to pay. What kind of question was that? I told her the obvious(purchase the beer) and she told me she doesn’t have a scanner and just stood there. From the point of Bevmo’s expectations of their employees, is this acceptable?

Awesome service and excellent selection. This store is by far the best BevMo I’ve ever shopped at.(Compared to the locations in the San Fernando Valley)

Yesss!!! I love this place!!! The good thing about this place is that it is located next to my bank. The bad thing about this place is that it is located next to my bank. It seems that there is always a 5 cent wine sale going on. I’m not complaining about this at all. They have frequent wine and beer tasting events(although I’ve never gone to a single one). They have a pretty decent selection of beers; I always get the German ones like Kostritzer, Aecht Schenkerla Rauchbier, and Bitburger. I also get Angry Orchard for my wife who is a FIEND for that stuff!!! As for liquor, I’m a whisky guy. I go for the single malt scotches that they have. I love Auschentoshan, Lagavulin, Laphroaig, and Glenfarclas. Good good chit!!! I am also a red wine guy and come away with a port or cabernet of any kind. My wife also like Barefoot Muscat and Stella Peach. It doesn’t take much to get her lips numb. They also have cigars, snacks, glassware, and sodas– which my kids love. This is the reason why they like coming here– to choose their soda. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I’ve never been given a bum steer so I’ll keep coming back here and recommend this place to anyone.

BOOZE! The workers are always so helpful here. Most of them are fun to interact with. Every once in a blue moon you get a stickler of a worker but whatever. I’ll be honest though, they do tend to run a little higher on some of the drinks than Target or Smart & Final by a good $ 2 – 5 on some items.

Okay so this place is pretty cool but the prices are not that great for the sheer size of the place. I guess I can only judge based on the liquor and the beer. I am an East LA native and Rite Aid and Liquor stores have way better specials or almost exactly the same prices. I don’t think I would drive here again for drinks but if I am in the area I would definitely stop by.

I like this bevmo because it has never been crowded when I go there. Otherwise… the selction is just okay… but the help is friendly. Love the Bunderberg Ginger Beer… is in the far left aisle in the very back! Try it with some rum! Maybe Kirk & Sweeney

All type of alcohol you want and need and can get is here at BevMo! During the world cup I went to a few places that I knew sell Imperial Beer(Costa Rican beer). But no one had it so I tried going to a few Bevmo’s and the one on Katella did not have it but I got the best customer service from a young man that was working. He went above and beyond trying to call different stores until we found one that had what I was looking for. There wasn’t very many cases left so he requested they be put on hold for me. BTW you should try la Cerveza de Costa Rica it is deliciosa!!!

Went on Saturday afternoon at the Cypress BevMo. The guys Ben and Mike were great. Had to exchange a bottle and they made it all work as well as provide a great recipe for Sangria. Also, they had the wine tasting as well 2 – 5 pm and had actual glass wear which is comparable to Costa Mesa. Long beach has great people but stick to Costa Mesa«Ron» and Cypress for the wine tasting. They have cheese as well and provide a great atmosphere. There was a wedding etc so I would say about 11 bottles of wine to try out. Amazing day to taste for sure… we didn’t expect it and were just going to exchange two bottles but ended up paying for about a case and a half. haha… It was good stuff. The 5 cent wine sale rocks at BevMo. Check it out and see you there. Erik

Used to have to look in small mom & pop stores like Cortina’s in Anaheim(but they no longer stocked them after their store’s fire rebuild) or ethnic mini markets for my ALL-TIMEFAVORITEGRAPEFRUIT Sanpellegrino drink but after randomly shopping for wine at my local BevMo I stumble upon my long lost thirst quencher! I am extremely excited and hope they never run low on their supply of GRAPEFRUIT Sanpellegrino drinks or I’ll have to start re-ordering via Amazon w/delayed gratification while waiting for them to be shipped:-(

I’m a huge fan of BevMo for their sodas. I am a soda junkie that occasionally will, particularly on Fridays, unwind with a sugar cane soda. Some call the process of opening your bottle and taking that first sip«getting off work.» BevMo has most bigger brands with sugar cane like Pepsi, Coke, Bundaberg, Jones, Boylans, Thomas Keeper and many others. I would like to think that a chain that is both found relatively close to many suburban markets and reasonably priced has something going right for itself. Most of the workers are friendly as well, despite the few that I will see upon weekday trips. You’ll note that on weekends it might be hard to get that help, so be patient or bullish to serve yourself. So if you’re in the neighborhood, and want something other than your Mexican Coke or Pepsi, I would recommend coming here. I’m sure kids, or the kid in you, will love it.

This one is just like any other Bevmo. I like this location because it’s off the beaten path. It’s in the middle of suburbia and a few miles from freeway. They have everything I need in stock all the time. Parking is plentiful and the liquor selection is even greater. Don’t forget to get a club bev card to save more. Happy drinking.

I wanted to celebrate my 26 years of living the proper way and also end summer with friends and family so BBQ it was. And I felt it would be proper to have a keg. But where do I start? Never rented one before nor have I ever done a keg stand. But first thought that came to mind was BEVMO. I called the day of about 4 – 5 times and while most of the 15-gallon kegs were already reserved, I felt it was best if I just walked in and saw all the selections for myself. I went into the back freezer with the store employees and chose the 15-gallon PBR which was the best bang for my buck — $ 107 for about 120 – 150 cups of beer. The entire process was pretty smooth and there was a separate aisle for keg purchases and returns. You have to fill out a small form and pay an upfront deposit for the tub and tap(unless you have your own) and also cleaning fees for both. Also there is a deposit for the keg itself but you get it all back as soon as you return the keg. which is whenever you decide to return it! They also have a dolly so you can take it to your car(or they do it for you). I suggest an SUV for 15-gallon kegs. Kegs are cool but definitely should’ve googled how to keep the foam away. The beer was foam-y almost the entire party. But the next day my friend released the air pressure by pressing this small button on the side of the tap and that helped A LOT. NOMOREFOAM. But also no more keg stands because it was Sunday and we were still hungover. Good luck getting the keg to and from your car! Thank goodness my bf does crossfit and all I had to carry was the tub and tap :)
