Personally, Calvin Klein isn’t my preferred nor favorite brand to shop at. Whenever I do walk in here, I am usually with my mom because the pieces look pleasant on her rather than me. Overall, the clothing offers a variety from office apparel to casual wear, but it’s hard for me to shop here since I encounter situations where I look a child wearing an adult’s outfit. That extra piece of detail may seem irrelevant but I just don’t want fellow Unilocalers to think Calvin Klein is targeted towards a more mature clientele(just in case). The major problem I have with this particular store are the sales associates. I’ve been here between 5 – 8 times since the outlet opened, and never once have I experienced a pleasant time here. Sometimes, I don’t get greeted by any of the associates, they may not smile when they see you, and you don’t get asked again after you say you don’t need their help. What I sense is they literally work here just to work here. I don’t see any effort being put out to make the customer feel welcomed and cared about. I know I sound nit picky but how can I not? This is an established designer brand, and the prices are average to moderate. What I am trying to say is the expectations shouldn’t be low because it is sitting between luxurious brands and common mall stores. In one of my experiences, the associate at the fitting room didn’t say a word to me until I asked him something. Then, the cashier was chewing her gum with the most obvious gesture. Maybe her breath was getting a little funky and she wants to refresh it, but I wish she would have been covert about it. It is a sense of professionalism on the job, and when you chew your gum like that, I can’t help but think you don’t respect the customer. I wrote this review because the store needs an employee makeover if I have experienced less than mediocre service every time.
