CS Coin Laundry

Usually a laundromat has minimum demands. Does the washers work and dryers work is all that should matter. Well this laundromat fails to do this consistently. I have been to this Laundromat about seven times just because I live almost right next to it. But this month I decided to stop coming here.
Every time I have came here at least one machine took someone’s money or had mechanical problems such as leaking water or shutting down without finishing a full wash cycle. Another reviewer mentioned that the washing machines timers are off and same happened to me. I started two washers at the same time and one stopped 10 minutes early than the one right next to it.
Another problem is their is little room to sit down as the jumbo washing machines are parallel with the few seats that are available but leaves little room between the seats and the wash machines. Also these washing machines are outdated that they look like they run off of steam power from the 1900S or something. What annoys me also is the laundromat sits between a bar and a liquor store, which regardless will attract a certain type of crowd So there is people just hangn around that just seem up to no good. Its annoying when your coming out of the laundromat and cigarette smoke is everywhere. I swear at least a couple losers live there. One time the same guy that’s always there was passed out on a chair in front of the laundromat peeing all over himself. DISGUSTING
The only benefit is I believe during the week they offer free coffee for the customers.

Pros:
Lots of different machine sizes. You can get a lot done in a few loads of laundry.
Very clean.
Cons:
The new ownership seems to be changing a lot here, but things were running fine a few months ago. The wash machines seems to be timed improperly. I started two machines, the one on the left first, loaded the one on the right, started that one, and the right one finished first. I used the same cycle for both.
I used to be able to dry my clothes with $ 1.00 (4 quarters at 12 minutes each) and now they still come out wet.
Really disappointed, this was my favorite coin laundry.

This place is a shithole. The Filipino guy working there is unprofessional. At 9:20PM he announces that at 9:45 he must close because that’s when the alarm is activated. All of us in there were still drying clothes, and left home with out clothes wet. In other places, they stay open till you’re done. Trust me, me and the people next to me agreed the extra 15 mins after 9:45 was enough time to dry and put everything away. Why advertise you close at 10PM. Ugh.

This place is probably one of the cleanest coin laundries in town that I’ve been too. It’s spacious and also has great service. Highly recommended.
