The girls are so nice and courteous and all of them do a great haircut, especially, Maraida.

Another great experience with the delightful Meraida! I came in to touch up my highlights an hour before closing, and thank goodness for this awesome location’s readiness to deliver, because Meraida cut, colored, and blow-​dried my hair just before they closed up. And the best part was that she didn’t rush the job at all – as always, it was a pleasure to talk with her throughout, which made the time fly. My hair, unsurprisingly, exceeded my expectations. Very impressed. Thank you again to Meraida and the owner for such great service!

I’ve been going to this location for eight years and the only reason I have been coming back is because of Teresa (hair stylist there) She cuts my hair the exact way I like it, but lately there have been some changes I don’t understand. there used to be a sign in sheet on the counter where you would come in put your name and who you would like to cut your hair sit down and wait your turn. Simple right! Now they have this system where when you walk up to the counter you have wait for a stylists to leave the person they are attending come and enter you into the computer then go back and finish there customers hair cut or what ever they have being done. (Color ect.) which can be frustrating. if it is not broke don’t fix it. There are a few other thing that have change I done care for but that’s for another review. If you happen to go there ask for Teresa she is the BEST!!!

My previous hair dresser moved, so I went a whole year without a haircut because I was too nervous to trust my long hair to someone I didnt know. After deciding to get a trim, I ended up here. I didnt know what to expect but I am glad I went here. Hannah cut my hair, and I can honestly say its as good, if not better than the 60 $ haircuts I was getting… but for a fraction of that cost. Jackpot! I’ve received so many compliments on the haircut. I went for a slight trim with long layers added in. I will definitely be returning and tell my friends.

The best haircutter there is nancy and Teresa… Anyone else is ok but the worst is Julie or Julia I forgot her name… She doesn’t clean up or listen to what I wanted and just did what the fuck she wanted to do… Nancy and Teresa do a great job!

If I can only give this location a negative star I would. This review is based on my personal experience in this horrible location. I went there just now to have my haircut fix which was unfortunately cut in horror. There were two women working, one was an elderly lady whom from the start already gave me the worst customer service with zero sympathy and complete disregard of a any persons feelings. Some people are better not talking at all and doing their job as is instead of saying and making uncalled remarks and further embarrassing someone who already had a bad day to begin with. I have to say people go to a hair salon to get their hair fixed, not pointed out and mocked. Also to complain and whine about something that you are trained and your livelihood depends on it just makes you bad at what you do.
Now aside from the horrible!!! customer service, I asked for my hair to be layered and all this person did was cut it even. Plus she also charged $ 5 extra for it to be layered, which she did not do! First time at a Fantastic Sams and definitely the last. I would’ve been better of having my husband cut my hair and save the $ 24! Yes, I did still tip $ 5 because I am not a selfish insensitive cold… fill in the blank.
I hope this review will help others not have a horrible experience at this Fantastic Sams. Or if they do, I pray they do not get the same person I did. Unfortunately I did not get her name, and even if I did, I would not humiliate her on social media as she made me feel.

I’ve Been coming here for a few years. I am very very picky with how i cut my hair. Theresa has been doing an awesome job :). Mary has also cut my hair once when Theresa was off, she also did a good job. They have my business :) Been going to the Buena Park location and Jade now cuts my hair she is amazing.

Never reuturning. BAD. I walked in with long hair only asked to trim 3″ walked out with short hair. The don’t know how to cut long layers let alone thin out bangs. I stopped the hair dressor (Marcela?) but it was to late, She already cut a huge chunk off in the back. I walked out in tears and they still had the nerve to charge me. PEOPLE IF YOU READ THIS FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Although I am a fan of Fantastic Sam’s, I will not be returning to this location. Today they are officially open till 8:00 and I got there at 7:50 and a white lady told me they are closed. She said they had already made their last appointment at 7:30, even though they don’t really take appointments.
I understand she was tired but she has a business to run and I am sure the owner would not appreciate her taking license to close when she wants.

Good haircut but the place needs a major clean up. I went in for a haircut and the lady asked me to sit where there was hair all over from the last person. I asked her to sweep it first. She responded «you want me to sweep?». The next day my husband went to get his haircut, he came home with blonde hair on his shirt and he is dark haired. I guess the lady did not sweep after the last person. I like how Enya cuts hair and the other lady. But the owner needs to remodel a bit and CLEAN UP.

The owner Kim is very sweet, which makes this review difficult. I’m sorry Kim, but your employees are horrible. I’ve had two very bad experiences here.
First was with an older Korean lady stylist. We had a bit of a problem communicating, and she layered less and lower than I originally intended. When I asked for correction, she became infuriated and apparently chopped away at my hair in a haphazard manner. It wasn’t until I saw a different stylist soon after for coloring, that they told me, «Oh my god, your haircut in the back looks like it’s been destroyed.» It was cut all unevenly and in a rough manner that damaged my usually healthy ends.
Second time was with a fairly young Latina stylist. Before starting on my hair, she noticed that I had scratched my head earlier in way that caused some slight bleeding and scabbing. Instead of telling me politely and tactfully, she announced it in her obnoxiously loud voice and even yelled the news over to all the other stylists in the salon. Every other customer in salon couldn’t help but overhear and look. This stylist had no tact, professionalism, consideration, or even common sense.
Do you want your irritable stylist to butcher your hair out of anger and frustration? Do you want your clueless stylist to be telling the world about your dry scalp, grey hairs, or balding spots? The answer’s obvious. Don’t go to these [un]professionals. If you do, make sure you only get Kim or someone other than the forementioned.

So as a beauty school drop out (literally) I refuse to overpay for the simple cut I have! Since I know more than your average cat about cutting hair, I typically have no problem going for a quick trim here. I color my own hair so I’m not sure how they do with color or other hair processes, I can only speak about the hair cuts.
I highly recommend asking for «Ana», she is the most experienced hairdresser in the salon and has been there for years. The other stylists come and go and I’ve even had an uneven hair cut from here once when I «walked in» and had someone besides Ana do my hair.
Ana is is there in the evenings on T & TH and all day Sat. So call ahead and make an appointment. She actually knows what she’s talking about and listens to what you want. I just got a trim this weekend and I’m a happy camper!

Usually, I just walk in with my kids to get their haircut. Normally, you don’t have to wait very long. They are fast and inexpensive. I like the hispanic lady hairdresser, Aurora, I think was her name. She is very good. My daughter likes her very much. She is a good hairdresser.
You should go there. But if you can, you should make an appointment before you go that way you don’t have to wait too long for a haircut.
