I am so disappointed with this salon. The manager is always complaining about her personal problems and doesn’t seem to give proper attention to the customers. She is not mentally or physically capable of running a business, I will definitely be letting everyone know NOT to come to this salon. The bed cleaner, «Amy» is always in a bad mood and is not welcoming what so ever. She is extremely rude and the management should really look into this because I will definitely bring my money elsewhere. DON’T GOTOTHISSALON!

Elise displayed the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It was more than clear that she would rather be any place other than work. It’s a shame that a place with such great tanning beds hires people without absolutely NO people skills.

Here I am at glo sun spa. in champions and spring Cypress. i bought three months at a time worth of spray tan. so I did it twice so far and the lady that signed me up insisted that I buy the skin fit performance gel. it was so expensive but I was dukked into buying it seeing that the lady knew what she was supposedly talking about. I kept getting a horrible spray tan after word. so the next time I came in the other lady at the counter said. why are you using that. that’s for a tanning bed. And they won’t refund my money. that’s bs

Despite reading the previous reviews, I had the curiosity to try the place out. It is located between Hintze Dance and Green Garden. My first visit here was not horrible at all. As a first time customer with this place, I had to fill out and sign a sheet of paper. The lady asked me about my skin and tanning experience. Having tanned before in the past, I had an idea of the different levels of the beds. However, the lady explained to me the different levels and the various packages Glo-Sun Spa offers. Also she mentioned that if you do purchase a tanning lotion, you can upgrade to any bed level at a much discounted price for 1 month. I didn’t ask about the range of cost of their lotions, but I have in the past on my first experience with a different tanning salon. If I remember correctly, a bottle of one of the lotions I bought previously was about $ 60. They are strict about the lotions you bring, which is normal at other tanning salons. You cannot use those self-tanning lotions from your local HEB, Wal-Mart, etc. There is a note with the prohibited lotions you cannot use at the front desk. If you are on a budget and don’t want to buy a lotion from Glo-Sun Spa, then online shop for tanning bed lotions. I found my current one discounted from a website and brought it in. There are several locations in Houston, and you can drop by any to tan. Just be sure the whole 24 hours has passed for you to tan again. In conclusion, my experience here has been good so far. No complaints.

I don’t know what the other reviewers said about this place but OMG… this place is TERRIFIC!!! Trish is always there and she is really FRIENDLY. She always answer my questions even when I think they are dumb. This place always make me feel welcome when I walk in their doors.

The manager leaves on vacation and leaves no one in charge. They lose paperwork speak to customers as if they are beneath them and delay refunds. Terrible business. I will never return here.

I have never in my life wasted my time writing a review, but as I’m sitting here at Glo Sun Spa once again waiting in a robe for the Versa after doing the hydration station I figured I would put my time to good use. This is exactly why I’m not able to use my membership as much as I would like to. Every time I go I’m in there for over an hour. Mind you I’m not one of those people that takes for ever in the beds. I spend 30+ mins just waiting for the Versa. I wouldn’t be so upset if this was the first time that this has happened. Every time I make it quite clear that I will be spray tanning after I complete the hydration station. Yet for some reason every time I complete the hydration they have put ppl in front of me. I could understand if there was someone in the Versa just finishing up, but no this time not only is there someone just starting the Versa there is also 2 other people in front of me to tan. As fast as I am about getting in and out of the beds I should be in there 30 mins top. Yet, once again it’s going to take an hour because I spend 30 mins naked waiting in a robe so I can use the Versa. It’s a shame because I really do enjoy the place but it’s just not worth the money if I’m not able to get use out of it.

I was so disappointed with this Glo Sun Spa this location and they are individually owned, which makes sense because their corporate office would not stand for such behavior by a manager. I recently bought a Groupon for the level 1 bed and chose this location, because it was close to my home. I was harassed from Day one as to what kind of lotion I was using. I brought the lotion in on my 3rd Tan, and was told my lotion is not excepted to tan their, it’s a name brand and indoor tanning lotion, it was not good enough for their beds. I have never been so insulted, and basically felt like if I did not buy their lotion I could not tan their. They really do not deserve a 1 star. I was loud and ugly and meant to be after what the Owner told me. I would think twice about ever doing business here whether it be tanning or spa treatments. They really made me feel like I was not good enough for their facility.
