We use to love this place for delivery. I was tired tonight, so I placed an on-line order. An hour later, no food. I called and the girl answering the phone said she didn’t fill the order because she didn’t know«what meat» I wanted. I want what I ordered on-line! How hard is that?! Never had a problem until today, but it has totally blown my mind that they didn’t know what was on their on-line menu. Dang. I was hungry, too.

My hubby and I decided to order take out from here. The food was sooooo good and the portions were HUGE. The next day, we were both throwing up. I’m assuming the chicken was old or not cooked correctly because we both ended up with food poisoning. Too bad bc the food actually tasted good. But we will never go back!!!

Good food, good service! A little too quiet in there, especially with little ones; but we managed. Definitely we’ll be back.

We recently moved to Cypress and have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant. I’m glad I looked on Unilocal and found this one right around the corner!!! It was good and would recommend them

USED to like eating food from here! I’ve ordered the Mongolian fried rice, which was plain but not too bad. I’ve tried a couple lunch dishes, beef and broccoli is pretty okay. Have tried other meats on their lunch special but none special enough or me to even remember. Except for the last and VERYLAST time I will EVER eat here! I order ahead for pick and order the orange chicken lunch special with fried rice, egg drop soup and crab rangoons. The lady on the phone said it’d be done in 10 minutes! Kinda thought that was strange. Anyways rice was plain, rangoons were decent but chicken was sooo sweet and gooey. It was like they took frozen chicken nuggets and glazed them with orange jam or something. Chicken had a weird texture. There were peppers and orange skins in it but flavors didn’t taste natural at all. Fast forward to that night when my dog gets into the trash and gets into the food. I had to clean that mess and was horrified but what I saw. Meat was dark and had a strange meat texture(looked like brisket or something) the meat didn’t look like chicken at all and really made me question how fresh or «authentic» their cooking is. Just want to warn people to stay away from that dish or this place in general. So unappetizing. Frequent customer is unhappy and never returning.

Wow! Is the word I would say about this place. The food was fresh, hot and a lot for the money. We eat a lot of Asian food and these were by far the best egg rolls I have had. They were full of cabbage and veggies, but served hot and fresh! We actually ordered more because they were that good! Give them a try and you won’t be unhappy!

What a gem! My family and I stopped here after attending an event at the Berry Center, and WOW. We didn’t expect much from the little Chinese restaurant tucked in a Kroger-based strip center off of 529 and Barker Cypress, but boy were we pleasantly surprised! The service was quick and friendly, and the food was I N C R E D I B L E! Everything was fresh, and absolutely delicious. We were a large group, so I had the won-ton-soup with sweet and meaty bbq spare ribs and a perfect egg roll before I shared their Mandarin Lo Mein, which was DIVINE! I’m craving it today! The portions were HUGE, and the fresh cut oranges after our meal was the most refreshing and welcomed extra touch. I live on the opposite side of 290, closer to 249 actually, but I will make the drive to dine here again. Fabulous!

just ok. Will do. I have been ordering from here for years but it has been on decline in the past few years. Delivery service is get slower and they almost always forget something out of the order. Egg rolls usually. Last time I ordered it was nearly two hours and an argument with the person who worked there on when I placed my order and then they still messed up my order. I decided to give it one last try tonight b/c I have been ordering from here for SO long. I called the restaurant after placing my order online to confirm it this time and they told me an hour wait. Geesh on a Weds night. I am going to have to find some place new. Its been disappointing so many times now I should I have learned my lesson.

Decent delivery time, but otherwise not good at all. Mushy shrimp, dry fried rice, & odd tasting wonton soup.

The Had always gotten orange chicken which was really good but wanted to try something new off the menu so I saw that they had tangerine chicken so I decided to order it… And it was good it has less breaking than the orange chicken and more flavor and a little spice… The Fried rice is also good… Dining in is nice with very nice tables and decorations… The Prices are good especially for the amount of food you get its so amazing

My love affair with Jade Bamboo goes back several years. While attended the local community college a few friends and I stumbled upon this place. 4 stars for dine in. The inside dawns crisp white table cloths with fancy folded napkins, next to a lucky bamboo plant on top pf hard wood tables that compliment their hardwood flooring making it easy to forget your inside a strip center. The décor is a collection of Asian paintings and hanging lanterns which provide soft lighting on the bleached flour walls and exposed pine beams. The waitstaff is amazing except the female older lady… she is quite short & rude each time. I request another server EVERYTIME we dine in. She is not attentive and is very short. Everytime I take my toddler I have to ask her for a booster… Take out &TOGO 5STARS They are Kings of Chinese food. Everything is always hot. Always lots of sauce! Always quick! We use this place exclusively for delivery. The food is always hot and always arrives earlier than what they indicate when we order. The delivery people are always very nice. The ONLY reason I did not give 5 stars is because we have had them forget small items with the order. Now, when they have made a mistake, they are quick to fix it, If I could, I’d give 4 and a half stars. Prices are reasonable and ESPECIALLY when you realize how much food you get.

Horrible service! We ordered food online, we even called after we ordered online to make sure they received it & they confirmed that our order was already sent to the kitchen. An hour and a half later… still no food. We called back and they tried to place us on hold. Then said the food was still on its way, meaning they are trying to deliver food that’s been sitting out for over an hour… no thank you! We told them to keep their old food.

Soooo, Chinese is never on my top 3 list of foods to eat when your stomach is super hungry to the brink of turning a back flip buuut I gave it a try, mainly because I wanted something delivered. I checked out the reviews(which were mostly good from my fellow Unilocalers) and placed my order. Be sure your order is at $ 15 otherwise nothing will be delivered. I ordered the seafood vegetable platter(which came with fried rice), crab rangoon(6) and an eggroll. The platter and Rangoon’s were really good. So good I didn’t even eat the egg roll. I’d order again. It took them about 30 – 45 min for delivery, which wasn’t bad.

Living in Cypress, it’s hard to find a good Chinese place that won’t cost you $ 15+ per person for dinner. I’m use to living on the SW side where you can get good Chinese take-out for less than $ 10 per person. LOL. I finally found a place in the area that is good and close to $ 10/person. Their portions are very generous… in fact, 2 people good share 1 dinner entrée. Their dinner entrees come with either steamed or fried rice(they don’t charge extra for the fried rice). And their fried rice isn’t just steamed rice tossed around in some soy sauce. The fried rice has eggs, carrots, and peas(posted picture). The jalapeño chicken is very flavorful and has a nice kick to it — not too spicy though. The Mongolian beef is another hit that I always enjoy. The dinner entrees do not come with egg rolls but their egg rolls are absolutely amazing and they’re only $ 1.20 each! A great price for such a large egg roll! I would definitely get 1… or 2. LOL.

This place was a welcome suprise. The food was great, and the plates were really big! And by big I mean BIG! It was very tasty too. The place was pretty much empty, so we were well taken care of. It was nicely decorated and the restroom was clean. I live really close by so I wouldn’t mind eating here again. The only downside is its nor a buffet. For me that’s not a big issue because the plates were so large. But if your the looking for a buffet this is not for you.

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous. My family have eaten here numerous times and have been very, very pleased with customer service and the quality and quantity of food served. Our family endorses and encourage people to try their food. You won’t be disappointed.

The food isn’t good here at all. My friend who isn’t a foodie said she liked it here so I gave it a shot. I told her never again lol. the employees are not friendly. I guess they didn’t like that me and my friend came in with our posse of kids. She had her two kiddos and I had my twins. The sight of 4 kids all under 5 years old must have freaked the workers out. the place at the time only had a large table with 6 men eating. The waitress who kind of greeted us was like to go order right when we walked in. Nope sorry lady dine in today. the quality of the food was awful the texture and flavor were not appetizing. one of my twins wanted chicken wings and we ordered her the kid’s meal that came with maybe 3 wings and white rice. The chicken wings were very greasy and had NO flavor whatsoever. My other daughter wanted beef and we order the kid’s meal with this very chewy textured, bland beef kabob that was in my opinion under cooked. it looked gross. even my daughter made an ugly face about the meat. my kiddos are only 3 but they have a pallet for good food since this mama loves to cook and eat out. the twins already enjoy delicious food from Sinh Sinh and FuFu for Chinese food on Belaire… needless to say my twins only ate the white rice plus fortune cookie and drank thier sprites for lunch. I had some combo stir fry that had weird texture and seemed kinda mushy. So I was hungry as well since I didn’t want my food. I don’t complain about food at Asian joints really. I just won’t come back. I think the only thing we enjoyed was the orange that came with my friend’s kids noodles. I will say the hot and sour soup was okay. I will not be returning to this place. There are way too many other yummy Chinese joints to explore in the Katy/Cypress area.(Thai chefs 5 mins away from this place is awesome).

A year ago I wrote a review and after my service today I had no choice but to delete it and write a new review… They gave horrible customer service, and HORRIBLE food. Everything I ordered was wrong or so over cooked that we couldn’t eat it. AND it was an hour before our food was delivered. I ordered it at 3:30 and it was delivered after 4:30. They have delivery times of 30 – 45 minutes at most on their website. We ordered crab puffs that were rock hard. Cashew chicken that han NO cashews with more than 1⁄3 of the bowl being huge pieces of mushroom. The Kung Pao Chicken that was really sweet [no spicy at all]. And the egg roll was just mush. When I called they said they would not give me a refund, and that if I hadn’t eaten it yet, then I could have more food. Why would I want more food when EVERYTHING I ordered was wrong and tastes horrible?! So disappointed with this restaurant and the service I received.
