Meraki Salon

Today was my first time visiting this salon. Rose did an excellent job with my hair. I went in for a deep conditioning treatment & a blow dry & my hair feels amazing! She is super sweet, professional & caring about my hair needs. I also got to meet Angie and loved her too! I would recommend them to anyone! Seriously look no further and go check them out!!!

I keep forgetting to write this review. I have been going to the salon about 8 months now and I am so glad I found Angie. She is a great person and genuinely cares about her work and her clients. She will listen to everything and tell you honestly what she thinks. My hair always comes out great and believe me it is so hard not only to color my hair but to style it!

Well I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored for the past 7 years by my step sister who is a cosmetologist and she recently got married in June and moved to Colorado so here I was left with no hair dresser :(I am very picky and didn’t want just anyone to touch my hair so after some investigation I found Meraki Salon and I booked my first appointment with Rose. I was sooo nervous! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a very warm friendly face and we got right to it! She asked me a lot of questions to see exactly what I wanted. Throughout the whole process we just talked and talked and had great conversation. She would also explain to me what she was doing to my hair while she was doing it which I loved. After it was all washed and blow dried and finished it looked BEAUIFUL! It was so shiny and soft and wonderful! the color looked perfect and just what I wanted. I booked my next appointment right then and there which is actually coming up this week so I can’t wait to see her again & get another great hair job :) So happy I found a reliable hair dresser!!!

Love this place! Rose was extremely helpful and asked a lot of questions before starting the cut, which was refreshing. The salon is very clean and has great products as well. She doesn’t rush either, unlike most places who usher you in and out. Very personable and does a wonderful job. I highly recommend them!

Angie did a fantastic job! I had my hair done with her and after scheduled my whole family to go to her! Cute shop and she really listens to what you want.

Just moved here from California! Searched through Unilocal and found Angie! She was able to get me in for an evening appointment and worked her magic! I’m a natural blonde but my current hair was black! She was able to lighten me without turning my hair orange! Love my color and cut! Can’t wait to continue the process to get me back blonde!

Rose did my hair and I love it! The cut and color were both spot on. She asked me questions like what color do you wear most and eye shadows and what not, which I’ve never been asked but it really shows how much she cares and wants you to look your best.

I have been living in Cypress for almost 10 years and have not found a stylist who was worth what they were charging, had a dysfunctional salon, or that was really good that their craft.
I finaly got on Unilocal,did a search and found Meraki. It had great reviews and I loved the photos on Unilocal and their website. I also loved the fact that they have online appointment booking.
I nervously went for my first haircut. Rose actually listened to what I wanted, explained the state my hair was in, then explained her plan to get me to where I wanted, as I wanted to grow out my hair. Did a hair stylist just LISTEN to what I wanted??? I couldn’t believe it.
Next the haircut, I like that she takes her time and explains what she is doing. Rose is so nice and I enjoy talking to her. I can ask her question and she makes recommendations. I have had several haircuts how and also decided to give the keratin express a try. LOVED IT and went back for the regular keratin treatment. I haven’t been this happy with my hair in decades. DECADES! Rose also puts up with my coloring my own hair but I do plan to have her do some color at some point.
I am now getting ready to take my teenage daughter in for a haircut with Rose and to get my inbetween haircut bang trim. This lady is a real gem in Cypress and although I want her to get lots of business, I would also love to keep her my little secret.
Angie is a sweetie too and I would feel confident in having her cut my hair and following the lines of Rose’s haircut anytime. Real Professionals who know how to treat customers right.

LOVED this place! Prices are extremely affordable. Rose did my hair and she was AMAZING! Very attentive and listened to what I wanted and was spot on. The salon itself is also very personable which I loved. I didn’t feel rushed and I felt welcomed and that Rose was really about the client and not all about the money. That really put the cherry on top!

Rose at Meraki Salon is awesome. That’s just a fact, people.
I’m not a woman who knows much about hair and makeup. My mother trimmed my hair when I was a girl and there were only a handful of trips to a Fantastic Sams or other budget-​friendly «salons» which always traumatized me with horrible haircuts. I went to Tony & Guy to have my hair done for prom back in the day and was NOT impressed with the work or the attitudes. So since then, I’ve generally avoided doing anything other than buying a box of color on sale at CVS to spruce up my natural boring mousy brown hair and trimming it every so often myself. I’ve been getting by with the basics so that I’m at least put together enough to not look like a lagoon creature every day.
Definitely time for a life upgrade, amirite?
I searched for salons in my area and came across a few, but Meraki Salon stood out based on their before and after photos. Seeing the amazing work the ladies actually do at Meraki squashed any fears I had about ending up with yet another disaster on my head. And all the positive reviews helped a sista out too.
Rose is like my dream hair stylist. She was sweet, funny, professional, and above all else an amazing hair ARTIST. She totally listened to what I wanted and my concerns then gave me excellent advice and incredibly useful tips about doing my hair. I was completely at ease with her and ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW HAIR. I had a rather dramatic (for me) color change from my crappy mousy brown to a red/​blonde ombré. SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
I love it and I’ve gotten compliments from just about everyone who’s seen the new ‘do.
Rose blew me away with her skills and personality. I haven’t met Angie, but I’m sure I will since I’m planning on being a loyal customer.

If you want a quaint and relaxing salon this is the place! The energy that these 2 stylist give off is amazing. Rose has been doing my hair for 2 years now, and I have followed her wherever she goes. She has never let me down with my color and or cut and she knows just exactly what I want every time! I would highly recommend Rose, or her partner Angie.

The girls at Meraki Salon are so wonderful! They are AMAZING with color and style! They know how to listen to my wants, and help with all my hair needs! They are very reasonably priced, and have a very clean and comfortable location!

The Stylist here are amazing! Rose Devore does my hair and I LOVE IT! I always leave happy and I get tons of compliments! :) Angie is the other stylist she is also phenomenal, she does some of my friends hair! They are very sweet & make you feel at home & comfortable! I enjoy visiting with the both of them and I have fun while getting dolled up! I promise anyone who goes there will have a great experience!
