I used this company twice now. The first time went so well that the second time I trusted them to do it while I was on vacation. All inspections were passed the first time, they do all the paperwork for you and leave the house clean. Could not be more pleased with the power being produced either.

Quality Solar Solutions did an excellent job with our solar — so much so, that we had them install solar on our vacation home too. We were building a new home and Matt did an excellent job coordinating with the builder and getting the work done as scheduled — he is very organized. Also Matt is knowledgeable and honest. He will tell you exactly what type of system will work best and he’s not going to try to get you buy a system you don’t need or over-​price what he’s installing. They use only quality products. When they left, I knew they wouldn’t have to come back — the system has been working flawlessly since it was installed a couple of years ago. In fact, it has been producing more power than the originally planned. Another thing that you really need to know is that Quality Solar Solutions is meticulous in getting their work done right. All the way from the panel install, electrical connections, and permit process to the little things like not trampling through the bushes or breaking roof tiles like so many of the other subcontractors on the project did. I would absolutely recommend Quality Solar Solutions to install the solar system on your new or existing home!

So where do I start with a review of Quality Solar Solution, but with the man himself, Matt Hensel. I was impressed with him from day one and throughout my vetting process, Matt continued to impress even more. Matt is honest, ethical and a «straight-​shooter.» Matt was immediately responsive to my initial inquiry and did not hesitate to come out and give a personal estimate. Truth be told, his price was not the lowest, but I certainly believe that at times, «you get what you pay for». I got quotes from two other companies and as I educated myself more about solar options, I came to the realization I did not trust these other salesmen or their installation people either. I decided to go with Matt, and the installation process was unremarkable as to any problems. Matt was spot-​on with his time estimate, very patient with his instruction and the system does everything Matt promised it would. Matt was meticulous throughout the installation process and there was no damage of any type. I am confident solar components are fairly similar these days so in the end, what sets one company apart from the competition? In my opinion it is the people who work for that company, and when it comes to Quality Solar Solution, you will find no one who provides better customer service, and who I would consider honest, ethical and and provides the best value for the dollar. I love my solar system, just buzzing away, creating clean energy and helping me be more eco-​friendly, while saving money. Just this past month I generated enough power to cover all my energy needs for the month and also earned a $ 90 credit fro, SCE! That’s what I am talking about Matt! Thank you!

We were very impressed with Matt. We have an older house which made our solar installation a challenge both at the site and with SDG&E. He handled both with energy and professionalism. We have a top notch solar installation and a safer electrical system at the house as a result of his efforts. After the installation we had a minor issue with the monitoring system on the inverter, which he went out of his way to fix.

Best decision we ever made in regards to home improvements. Matt was great to work with — really explained our choices and once made, installation happened very quickly. This is especially important for those of us (me) that are highly impatient! Our solar panels are overproducing what we’ve expected. Its nice to go from exhorbitant monthly bills to mostly credits!
