Ok, so it you are going to go here make sure that you have their current address. We went 45 minutes out of our way in terrible traffic to find out that they have moved, and when we got to the new address we could not find them because there is no signage. The only way we found them was the archway from a picture in Unilocal. As far as the store itself goes, it is a pretty average quilt store, but there are no patterns or books in the store at all. It is primarily just fabrics and a few tools, unless of course you want to spend a lot of money on a die cutting machine. It looks like they have a good following based on the number of people in the classroom, but if you are from out of town it really is not worth the extra effort to visit.

A wonderful fabric shop! Quiltworks has a wide selection of beautiful fabrics. I took their intro quilting class, and Linda was a wonderful teacher.

Wish I could give this place no stars. Their new location on Jones and West Rd is difficult to find since they don’t have signage other then a banner above the door, not easily visible from the street. I found this place online and was hoping to find material and information on classes. I came straight from work wearing a polo, khakis and work boots. Not the usual attire for a quilter so I am assuming that was the first issue. When walking through the door a young man was behind the front desk who looked at me but didn’t greet me. I proceeded to walk around and look for material when I came across two employees talking(assuming one was a manager) I made eye contact to ask about the classes and she quickly looked away. I realize being a young Hispanic female I don’t appear to be a quilter but I am. This place will not get my business. Unfortunate.
