Jerry D’s is in fact a biker bar but upon moving to the area about 3 yrs ago, we would drive by and day or night on the weekends they were packed. We decided that they either had go food or it was a great place to hang out. Well as we found out, their burgers, bitchin nachos and Italian sausage are all fantastic but yes a heart attack waiting to happen. Their rolls are homemade and they are delicious. We have always felt welcome but when you first walk in, the normal patrons just wonder who you are. Say Hi and they make you feel welcome. In the summer, Jerry is most likely going to welcome you and he might even wait on you. The back patio is a fantastic place to hang out and the summer entertainment is great., More bars should be like this on — biker bar or not. Now we have bikes and we make stops there for breakfast lunch or dinner every weekend in the summer. Have met some great people to ride with and we go in the evenings for the entertainment in the back yard. If you are from the area you should not be a snob and check it out, you might just have a great time. This is a family owned business and they do a fantastic job. Some of their staff has worked their for 20+ yrs. What other employer can say that?

Truly the worlds’ best hamburger, great fun patio, truly a classic biker bar. The wait staff were delightful and on top of great service even just for a burger and a beer. The outdoor patio is wonderful! So make sure you walk all the way out back and sit out there there is plenty of shade and sights to see. Please make note they do not accept credit cards but do have an atm machine. Price are reasonable! Make sure you look twice when leaving this is a hot spot for motorcycle rider from near and far.

Love the greasy burgers on the fresh buns and chilli cheese fries, and my wife loves the bitchin’ nachos, tried most of the menu and can’t say there is anything that I wouldn’t order again… I don’t go in very often, but everyone always makes you feel welcome…

This is probably one of the best Greasy food places around. We enjoy taking new folks to the local biker bar and getting some of the best lunches in the county.

I am not a regular patron of any bar much less a biker bar like Jerry D’s but I had a wonderful time attending a party for a departed friend who was a constant fixture here. I was pleasantly surprised by the beer garden area in the back-really open, whimsical and«beach-like». I would recommend this bar for parties and best to go in the summer. R.I.P. Diggi!

It’s a dive biker bar. if you like that sort of thing, you may well enjoy a visit. If you don’t like to hang out in dingy 50 year old neighborhood dive bars, then keep going. Lunchtime may be different, seems to be a better crowd at that time.

Jerry D’s is the best biker bar in town!!! Hands down!!! Nothing more needs to be said… Where else can you go and hang out in the«back yard» with a live band with a grass hut stage; a bocce ball court; a horseshoe pit; a bar that makes you think you are on the beach in Mexico; oh yea, a great host(Jerry, the man himself), lots of seating. AND, when they roll out the special functions(golf tournament, birthday parties, pig roasts, etc, etc,), the food is incredible!!! Did I forget to mention the refreshing cocktails? Yep, Jerry D’s is the place to be… The bikers are a friendly crowd, the locals are too, and if you happen to hit a night that there is a special function, the fun just won’t stop!!!

I have been to eat here a half dozen times or so and everytime I have ordered the cheeseburger and onion rings and have not been disappointed yet. Served up on a soft homemade bun! I have always wanted to try some other things on the menu but always end up with a cheeseburger. My wife had the greasy tacos and they were awesome as well! By far the best burger joint in the North Metro Denver Area and well worth the drive even if your not close. The next time you crave an awesome local burger skip the fast food and head to Jerry D’s!

I have been coming to Jerry D’s for more than 20 years, great place, real people. I like the whop burger(Italian sausage sandwich). Jerry’s a real Whop so the sausage is real and he puts a big spicy cooked pepper on top, SWEET! They even bake their own buns. The bar in the back outside is great in the summer. When Dinner Dave cooks on the grill you should not miss out! They have some good bands playing every month or so. Jerry’s Lasagna is great too when he make it for the special. The drinks are cheap in my opinion. I highly recommend this place if your riding with a group on a run or just driving by.

The dicotomy of my two experiences with Jerry D’s makes it almost impossible for me to give an accurate review. To that end, I suppose my only option is to describe both visits seperately and in detail. The first time I went there was for lunch, on a spectacular spring day during which everyone in Colorado who owns a motorcycle was taking advantage of the weather window to log some miles. There were dozens of $ 30k custom bikes out front, and it took us 15 minutes just to stop drooling and go inside. On this particular day, in spite of the throngs of bikers, the service was passible and the food was unbelievable. I had a hamburger that was just slightly larger than my own head, and frankly if I had been told mid-bite that it had been made from deseased rats I wouldn’t have missed a beat. This is good ol’ American artery clogging heavy artililery at its best. The fries(slightly translucent from grease) were so good that I had trouble making myself slow down and chew. The check came and I had no problems with the price. I don’t recall any specifics, but I thought that what they charged me for my burger, fries and a couple beers was right on target for a biker dive on the outskirts of suburbia. Flash forward maybe 6 months, and I went there with my wife and some friends for dinner and drinks(what can I say… I like slummin’ it once in a while). Trust me when I say that we were not expecting the red carpet, nor 5 star cuizine. We were there for a burger that may or may not single-handedly lead to bypass surgery, some gnarly, cheap beer, and a few games of pool. When we walked in, the only way I knew I hadn’t stumbled into a movie was that the jukebox didn’t actually skip. However, the bartender, server, and all of the patrons turned around to stare at us, and things went downhill from there. In a bar with 5 – 6 customers, I think the server feared that if she was freindly to the city folk she would be strung up out back. The food was so-so(and this time in I had MORE to drink, not less) and the bill was suprisingly steep. By that of course I mean steep for a place that may or may not be a part of a filling station. I guess I would go back, but only for lunch and only if they were busy.

The sign outside says«cold beer, greasy food», and that’s exactly what Jerry D’s is. The best of the best when it comes to local dive bars. «Bitchin’ Nachos» are totally bitchin’ with home made tortilla chips, a burrito cut into slices, kick-ass green chile smothered on top, and melted cheddar as the final greasy touch. There’s one pool table(the pool room dedicated to Broncos nostalgia — complete with stadium seats from the old Mile Hi Stadium,) shuffle puck, and my favorite piece of décor in the place — a rubber chicken hanging upside down at the bar, wearing Mardi Gras beads and a cigarette hanging from its mouth. Definitely a local hang-out, but friendly to newcomers too. An awesome find!
