This is a very active park because of the little league games and other sporting events regularly held here. Dacula Park is one of the older Gwinnett County parks and it shows it’s age when looking at the vintage public pool. Follow the service road all the way to the rear and you will find a nice area for small children to play. There’s a pond, picnic pavillion, sand volleyball court and playground with restrooms within a few feet. As a parent, that’s great because we all know kids will ignore those urges to take a potty break until it’s almost too late!
Middle school, High school and the Dacula library branch all merge here, so it’s best to avoid this area around times the schools let out. Traffic on this 2 lane road can be banana’s.
