Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

Not bad for what I would call Chinese fast food. Egg foo young was a little greasy but good. The hot & sour soup was on par. I’ll return for carry out. Not much of a dining room.

Bad service; worse food. Family spent night ill within 30 minutes of eating.

I was getting my nails done at the place down the strip mall and needed a quick bite, so I popped in.
The place is tiny, maybe has 5 tables, and is pretty much your typical speedy Chinese place. Nothing amazing, but for $ 5.99 I had a super hot, fresh and not over cooked, kung pao that was enough for me to have leftovers (not typical for this hungry girl) with hot and sour soup that was full of tofu and veggies. There was a lot of meat in the dish compared to other places and overall I was pleasantly pleased with the expectations I had.

This place was yummy! I had the potstickers, egg-​rolls and shanghai Lo Mien. I didn’t finish any of it on the first night, it was more than enough for two nights! The potstickers were more like, steamed buns but were super tasty. I’m used to Lo Mien having a thick egg doodle, this was a this rice noodle and it was delicious. Great, convenient and cheap! We will go back at least one more time!!!

This is my first time getting food from this place as I’ve passed by it time and time again for maybe nearly 3 to 4 years. Went to get a takeout since they don’t deliver. As usual I order hot wings, shrimp fried rice, and egg drop soup. The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars was for the fact that the place was really clean when I went. It only took 15 mins to complete my order so the time was definitely there as quoted to me. I can tell a lot of people love this place as I had to wait to order due to the fact that he got 4 calls back to back for an order.
Verdict: I’m used to a DARK wing sauce on my wings especially when I order extra hot. The sauce on the wings looked as though as if it was a hot sauce but it wasn’t the kick I was looking for. I also love the extra sauce to put over my shrimp fried rice but I’m glad that I didn’t order extra. The shrimp fried rice was ok, but it wasn’t really the taste I was looking for. The egg drop soup was GREAT! I really enjoyed that!
I’m not going to put them in my list of never return, not yet anyways. I like my other spot on 29 in the Kroger plaza because they give me what I like!

the egg drop soup was tasteless, watered down and the crunchies were stale
the steamed dumplings were wrapped in a very heavy dough, too too much
the shrimp fried rice were not deveined, the rice was YELLOW and full of onions and only onions. poop shrimp and onions, yumm. my $ 20 would have been better spent elsewhere, and will be from now on. It’s not like I was looking for rocket science, just simple Chinese.

This is kind of your run of the mill Chinese fast food. I would say it is better than the average Chinese food but if you looking for PF Chang’s quality of food this not it. For the price however it is pretty good…

Okay food, but I don’t do Chinese where they can’t make their own homemade Chinese mustard.
What’s up with those little packets of Chinese mustard, thats gotta be the triad, the asian mafia, ’ buy mustard, chop, chop, you die, you no buy’.
That stuff in the packets is like yellow mystery sause.
These people are nice, too bad, I luv hot mustard.

Its not the best chinese around. But I’ve definitely had worse. Not to mention, its pretty decently priced. Meaning unlike other chinese places, you’re not going to break the bank.
For three people, its usually in the twenty –twenty five range. Its decent food, and if you’re looking for somewhere for a quick in and out, I’d drop by.

Good Chinese food at good prices. Was the first place we ate at when we moved to Dacula and they were open late that night thankfully!
Decent location in the shopping center in the middle of Dacula. We continue to go there so that says a lot!
