Good service, happily took my replacement requests however, the food was not that great. The pancakes lacked basic salt and our food was cold.

We came here for lunch one day during the week and it was pretty empty. We sat outside and soon realized they do not serve alcohol. Bummer. Sat with the menu for more than 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. Took another 15+ min to get sandwiches, then more time for the check. Blah.

I have been here a few times and it is getting progressively worse. Had to ask who our server was after no service for ten minutes(plenty of servers around). The person we asked took our drink order, which did not include lemon with water(as requested) and coffee came without cream(not offered). We each ordered Eggs Benedict and all the eggs were cooked hard boiled. Potatoes and a side of bacon underdone. Cheese in grits tastes like kraft american. Quality of food, attention to detail and focus on service(including teamwork) are all missing, especially for the cost charged. Not going back.

We come here often but today it seems like the cooks could not get the order correct. Well first of all the water came to the table with«floaties» in it. ugh, so we requested another. My wife ordered the San Bernardino no pico, no cheese and added mushrooms. The order came back with cheese on it and throughout.(understand that my wife has dietary issues and can’t eat cheese) so we sent that back 10 minutes later it comes back without cheese and this time no avocado and fried really hard. Out of all the times we have been here this has to be the worst experience. I think my wife apologized more that the server did. Although we know it really wasn’t the servers fault but atleast she could have apologized on behalf of the cooks. We won’t give up on this J Christopher’syet I guess we’ll blame it on the weather!

Meh! Overall a good place to eat. Nothing special. Yes, the eggs Benedict are good other items in the menu as well. Don’t get the burned old coffee and make sure you keep the waiters on their toes when it comes to the water. :) Also don’t mind the hostess, her attitude can upset you a little. Lol

Wouldn’t go here again even if the food was free. The service was horrible. Stood waiting to be seated forever, then again for service. Our server did not check on us or provide basics such as butter for English muffin. Sat us near hostess stand and the servers walked around complaining about not being cut yet from their shift so loud we ended up not finishing our awful food and just leaving.

I am adding our review again, which was removed for some reason after being here for a very long time. To summarize, the food is overpriced and tends to not meet expectations. For example, the Monte Cristo, when available, is not a traditional one but rather a slightly pressed ham and cheese sandwich with sugar sprinkled over it. You pay premium for something that’ll cost you less than two dollars to make at home. The portions at this location also tend to be on the small side compared to other J Christophers. The staff also tend to be spread out too thin — either that or they don’t want to hire more staff. This leads to long wait times and errors in the orders. That being said, we recently returned due to a family visit and found that nothing changed. Staff still having the same issues, food was bland and overpriced, and it still feels like they take advantage of the clientele. It’s not good food, but it’s nearby if needed — hence the 2 stars.

Everyone knows that I LOVE a J. Christopher’s experience. I think I have been to just about every one of them I have been near. I only had one bad experience. My favorite, and usual, entrée(for lunch or breakfast) is their house version of Eggs’ Benedict called, Eggs’ Christopher. This twist on the traditional dish has sliced turkey in lieu of Canadian bacon and comes with fruit, grits, or potatoes. It’s delightful and the staff are always a joy.

We truly enjoyed our breakfast experience this morning. The food was exceptional and we noticed every person working in the restaurant was smiling. We ordered the Billy Goat omelette and substituted Canadian bacon for the potatoes and bread and chocolate chip pancakes w/scrambled eggs. Everything was fresh and there wasn’t an ounce of grease on our plates. Victoria was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

I USEDTOBE a fairly regular customer and would go during my lunch break for their chicken salad sandwich and tomato soup. Their menu is a little pricy running me close to $ 13 for the two items and a water, plus 18−20% tip. Service is ok. I went with my family a few months back on a Sunday morning with an UNFORGETTABLYBADEXPERIENCE. Getting hot soup spilled all over me is one thing. NOTGETTINGOFFEREDTOCOVERMYDRYCLEANING or a thoughtful gesture of discounting the bill for our meal is disrespectful towards a customer. I didn’t make a scene in the restaurant because I prefer to treat others the way I would want to be treated. In writing this, yes I am angry about the incident and will never return. If the roles were reversed, I would do the right thing and take care of my customer by at least offering to pay for their dry cleaning. The mess I wore caused the seat in my car to obtain an odor. Imagine if I took the same stance as the woman who was burned by hot coffee from McDonald’s and took legal action. People tend to overlook an incident and will settle for a small offering or gesture. This is the option that would have been of benefit to both parties. Instead, the employees who represent that chain decided to opt for treating me as if this was ok, forcing my hand in detailing this review of their restaurant. Warning: eat at J Christoper’s at your own risk!!!

The food is always good. Our family is there every weekend and we’ve never had bad service. They have call ahead seating so we always try to take advantage of that especially on the weekends.

This is actually my 2nd visit here for brunch. I decided on lunch both times but some of my family chose breakfast. Each time I have been underwhelmed by the food and service. My family eats out a lot and we always give a place a 2nd chance but J Christopher’s has run its course. My family supports this decision also.

Just okay. Overpriced breakfast food but with nothing else in the area except a WH its kind of the only option.

Have been frequenting this chain for years. I was one of the first to try out this location as I had recently moved to the Hamilton Mill area. After having issues with our food on each of our six visits, we no longer frequent this location. We discovered hair in our food once(the server gave us a few bucks credit but did not take the gingerbread waffle off of our ticket) and were served undercooked pancakes(batter oozing out the center) three times. My daughter waits all year for the seasonal gingerbread waffle. This year, we will go to another location. Very disappointed.

The moment I walked through the doors I was in love with this place. Bright, welcoming, open and staffed with friendly people who didn’t hesitate to welcome me in. The walls are nicely decorated with large and interesting art pieces and the menu is uncluttered and easy to read. Since my first visit about 2 weeks ago, I’ve been back three more times. I’ve had something different every time and I can say without a doubt this is now my favorite breakfast/brunch spot anywhere in the metro. I like a simple menu with great tasting food at reasonable prices and that is what you get here. Sure there are a lot of great places throughout metro Atlanta with chef inspired creations that would put the menu & food presentation here to shame. But for the price, I don’t think you can beat J Christopher’s deliciousness! — — — - THEFOOD * EGGCHRISTOPHER(5+ Stars) | $ 10.29 Not your usual Egg Benny. This version uses a bed of roasted turkey, crispy bacon, a slice of red tomato and served with oven roasted potatoes. The hollandaise is perfect and so are the poached eggs and fluffy English muffin. So perfect is this combination in fact that I am truly going to have trouble ordering anything else on the menu… ever! I could be happy eating this every time I visit! * EGGSBENEDICT(5+ Stars) | $ 9.99 It just doesn’t get any better for under $ 10. I have no doubts I will flip flop between this and the Eggs Christopher when my breakfast hunger cravings come calling. * MALIBUCHICKEN(5 Stars) | $ 9.59 Can I confess something? I love The Sizzler restaurant chain. It was a family favorite growing up and on their menu was a dish called Malibu Chicken. It is one of those dishes that takes me back to my childhood with warm and fuzzy feelings of favorite memories from my youth. So when I saw the name of this dish, the little boy inside me crossed his fingers, closed his eyes and said«oh please, please, please taste like the Malibu chicken I loved @ Sizzler.» Well, ITDID! I could have cried at first bite. I know this will likely not be anyone else’s quirky reaction other than my own, but I just wanted to make note that the flavor of this meal is pleasing to me beyond description. I enjoyed it so much I didn’t want to finish it(if that makes sense). * BYOBURGER(4 stars) | $ 7.99 + .79 for cheese My kids order this burger and I must say it surprised me. It was far tastier that I expected considering it was just a simple cheeseburger. * PATTYMELT(5 Stars) | $ 9.59 This is my favorite type of burger. It is basically a burger sandwiched in between a grilled cheese with lots of grilled onions. Traditionalists like me prefer Jewish rye bread to marble rye, but I was still extremely pleased. I usually only want mustard as a topping on my patty melts, however, thousand island dressing is also a classic(which is what they top the melt with here). I can’t imagine any burger lover not enjoying J Christopher’s patty melt. It’s delicious and well-seasoned! * GLUTENFREEMAPLETOAST(4 Stars) | $ 7.49 Wife loved it and I was happy they have gluten free bread to replace any bread on their menu so that she can feel free to order more things. * TURKEYSKILLET(4 Stars) | $ 9.79 My wife ordered this on a day just the two of us met here for lunch. She really enjoyed it but commented that she wishes the turkey and other ingredients had been scrambled into the eggs instead of the egg just being laid on top of the turkey meat. — — — - FINALTHOUGHTS I almost never try anything new at a restaurant once I have fallen in love with something on the menu. I feel totally proud of myself that I’ve tried AND love several items on this menu. Between the Eggs Christopher, Eggs Benny, Patty Melt and Malibu Chicken, I am 100% satisfied. So satisfied in fact that I may never order anything other than these four items all the rest of my days

This is the first time my husband and I come here. When we walked in, the hostess greetes us right away. Had to wait about 5 mins for our table. Our server was nice and pleasant. I ordered ‘pardon Me Madam’ and my husband got ‘pork belly ben’. Both of our meal were delicious. No complaints at all. Price is reasonable. We would go to this place again when we want some good breakfast food.

Seriously, I am breakfast dude and this place is exceptional. A party of 8 was met with a smile and seated immediately. The server, «Ninti», was a real professional with a great memory on our order and was super fast. My Belgian waffle was super… nice and dark as requested, turkey Sausage Pattie and fresh squeezed OJ. I can’t wait to come back. And highly recommend this place for breakfast.

We read all the reviews before coming here for breakfast and, I must admit, we were worried about what we were about to eat. Well, long story short– we were pleasantly surprised with the food! 1. Strawberry Crepes: packed with fresh strawberries and topped with delicious vanilla whipped cream. Light & fluffy and not greasy, at all. 4.5 out of 5. 2. Eggs Benedict: perfectly cooked eggs, really good hollandaise sauce, thick Canadian bacon, delicious English muffin and crispy potatoes. 5 out of 5. 3. Veggie Delite: had them add the diced ham, jalapeños, and avocado, all with an up charge. The eggs were light & fluffy, the vegetables were firm but well cooked and the overall texture was nice. 4.5 out of 5. 4. Coffee: I like the fact that they give you a thermos of coffee and that they leave it at the table. The coffee was pleasant. 4 out of 5. We will be returning here tomorrow to try out more of the menu. I recommend everyone to come try them out.
