A real classic of a place – so authentically New Jersey Italian that it hurts. Joe, the owner, and his family are lovely(and entertaining) group of folks, and they make the best Italian food I’ve had south of the Mason-Dixon. The pizza is to die for, as is the bolognese. Portions are huge, prices are good, and coming here supports a local business with the food chops to compete with any place around.

We started coming here about 4 years ago. The garlic knots are great. For the last couple of years we have each ordered a slice of Sicilian pizza. One slice is more than enough. The crust is thick, crusty, yet soft inside. The best part is that we can each get any of the toppings we want. Mario makes a great pizza, and always cooks it just right! The staff is friendly, and makes sure you are taken care of throughout the meal. This is the real deal, NY authentic pizza.

This is truly one of the best Italian restaraunt/deli’s I have ever eaten at! I work at a physicians office and we order from here often. The food is never a disappointment! Whether I get the deli, traditional Italian, or salad it’s always amazing! Very reasonably priced also! Ps! Try the chips they are phenomenal!

I’m going to start right off the bat here and tell you that I’m originally from Connecticut where New York style pizza is a plenty, but actually getting it right is hard. If you want amazing New York style pizza in Georgia then you need to get into your car and drive to either Luigi’s in Greensboro or the location in Dacula. Me and my wife stumbled upon Luigi’s while on a company retreat in Greensboro; it was fate as we have been searching 3+ years to find an authentic New York style pizzeria location close to home. We got a medium pie w/garlic & green peepers and after one bite me and my wife both looked at each other wide eyed & grinning from ear to ear. The search was over, but sadly almost 2 hours away from where we live in Suwanee. Luckily the hostess told us that there was a location in Dacula, which is only 20 minutes from our front door. We decided on 2÷28÷2016 to head on over and see if it was exactly as we had remembered it in Greensboro and were pleasantly surprised to find the pizza tasted just as mouth watering delicious as it did in Greensboro! There are a lot of pizza places in Georgia that we have tried that claim to make authentic New York style pizza, but so far only 1 out of a 3+ year search is worthy of that distinction and it’s here at Luigi’s. If you know great New York Style pizza then you know 3 things: 1) Sauce; it needs to pop or it’s just Ragu in a jar. You taste the tomato & herbs and it isn’t lathered on like your basting ribs. Just enough to satisfy your taste buds. 2) Dough; the dough is the canvas where everything comes together & isn’t a mile high ball of dough that you have to wear out your jaw chewing on. It has an actual taste that you NEVER forget no matter how many other pizzas you will eat in your lifetime. 3) Cheese; not burnt, gooey and can stretch from the pan to your plate. High quality mozzarella cheese achieves all three of these. Luigi’s nails all three of the above commandments for New York style pizza in every possible way. The atmosphere is modest, but honestly I wouldn’t care if I was eating Luigi’s pizza out back by the dumpster because it’s that great. If you think that you’ve had phenomenal New York style pizza and you haven’t had Luig’s then your missing out and truthfully I feel sad for you, but wont shed a tear ’cause I’m too happy to have found my pizza joint in the south :)

Best pizza we have found in Georgia! We have lived here for over three years(originally from the Northeast) and never found pizza that can compare to this! When they say NY style pizza, it truly is NY style pizza! So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant.

Haven’t ordered a sandwich in sometime from this place because we are trying to eat a little healthier, but tonight we had a cheat day. I forgot just HOW good the meatball sub is!!! Fresh sub-roll, huge meatballs, tons of cheese and fantastic marinara. You can’t go wrong. And two sandwiches under 13 bucks! #winning!

We’ve been searching for a long time to find pizza like this. Perfect crust. not too thick, yet crunchy with a good bite and tasty! Toppings that tasted fresh… slightly crisp pepperoni — it wasn’t just limp and sweating on top of unremarkable underpinnings. The mushrooms had distinctive flavor. And the cheese… full mouth goodness. Really good cheese! Lungi’s is actually the best pizza I’ve had since moving south almost 40 years ago. I would have never guessed it existed in dacula. I plan to try the bolognese dish I’ve heard about next week.

In a day where we expect pizza to cost $ 15 for two pizzas, it’s easy to lose sight of good pizza that was made in the restaurant rather than shipped in ready to have toppings thrown on it. Luigi’s has fresh pizza and wings that taste good and don’t feel laden with unnecessary ingredients. I would eat here more often if it weren’t a bit pricey.

Best Pizza around the area. Nothing fancy, just good NYC style. Other menu items are great as well. Try the Egg Plant Parm. Garlic Knots to die for. Side salads, excellent! Lunch, Hot Pastrami Corned Beef from NYC on menu. I eat here about 3 – 4 times/month. Staff is very friendly and nice. Just a great place for home town people to eat. Delivery is prompt too.

This is a good place to take the family for a casual Italian meal. We’ve been a few times and have had the garlic rolls, mozzarella sticks, salad, pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. I’ve enjoyed it all. There was nothing special about the spaghetti and sauce, but the meatballs were great and portions are generous. The staff treats you like family, which is nice.

Yum, yum, yum. This place is a family favorite. We always get a large Luigi’s House Special and sometimes splurge for garlic knots! The service is good, and we always feel welcome. Everything is best right out of the oven, so dine in and enjoy.

Great service! Used Unilocal to find a local restaurant and thought we would try this place. We were met at the door and promptly seated. Throughout our meal I think we saw everyone in the restaurant as they brought us refills, dropped off requested items, etc. I am big on service and think it’s great when all employees seem to share the goal of serving the customer. We ordered garlic knots, chicken Parmesan and the white pizza. All items were great. The garlic knots rank up there with the best I have had. The chicken Parmesan was a large portion and well done. The pizza was very good but had maybe a little too much cheese. Not something I would normally complain about, but it was out of proportion to the rest of the ingredients. Would still highly recommend for good food and great service!

Time for my update. Yes this is still a good spot. One thing I like is the 1 slice with salad or the 2 slice lunch. Always ask for Mario to make it a NY slice as you will have the«crunch» They also have their corned beef shipped in from New York City if you want a good sandwich. Always reminds me of my days in NJ.
