WALKINGTHROUGHTHEPAST This store is huge and according to the employee, it has 80 vendors. This mall is a very large building with individual stalls that are rented out by sellers. The sellers set their own prices so if you want to negotiate, you will have to have the employees contact the seller for you because they aren’t usually in the store. This can be a slight inconvenience especially if you are looking to purchase the piece immediately. You will find a variety of items here such as salt and pepper collections, sports memorabilia, kitchen utensils, toys, books, dishware, furniture, vintage clothing and so much more. If you can imagine it, it is probably somewhere in this shop! It is so cool to walk through this shop and see items from my childhood, especially the rotary phone. There was also an extensive selection of salt and pepper shakers that included Disney characters, super heroes, classic cartoon characters, animals and more. If you are interested in antiques and collectibles, you will definitely want to stop in and visit this shop.

No matter what you’re looking for you will find it here… and a lot more! There are tons collectibles… some new/some vintage… but there are some good antiques too! I have found some really nice stuff… things you don’t see every day. There are rows and rows so you are bound to see something that catches your eye! I think it is worth stopping in every few months – every time I go in it is like a different store.

Mostly junk, sports stuff, and stuff from China. If you dig long and hard… you may find something old and worth having. You also have to put up with rude cashier/clerks that really are not there to help you… just take your money.

Umbrellas are in the same state as buildings and furniture — people don’t make them like they used to. Luckily I found a retro parasol with many charming details at Antiques & Collectibles of Dahlonega. Two pearl circles adorn the wooden handle’s tip; a bow adds preciousness to the strap that snaps the cloth together; and the pattern pleases with orange and lime-colored blobs and swirls. «What do you think about this umbrella?» I disturbed the maintenance man installing a light. «Depende en la persona quien está llevándolo,» he responded in a thick Spanish accent. «Cómo?» I coyly leaned. «It depends on the person who’s wearing it,» he clearly enunciated while stomping down his ladder. «Oops, I thought you were speaking in Spanish. But thanks!» I beamed, twirling all the way to the check-out counter.
