I ate here with some friends from out of town. They’re a large family looking for a quick bite before heading to our house. We were seated quickly and served well. The food was very good«bar» food served to order.

This place has awesome wings, the pizza burger kicks ass, and they have karaōke on Saturday nights! The atmosphere and staff are also great. It’s a bar and grill that actually does food right. Great place to hang out!

I’ve been here a few times and was never impressed either way. I went late last night with my wife because most places were closed and I figured a burger here would be better than a fast food place. We got a big surprise. We both ordered the special and got a gourmet meal for a very low price. Very good! Our server was attentive, but not annoying, just like I like it. The chef came out and asked us what we thought of our meal and explained he was relatively new there. The experience was a very pleasant surprise!

Great place for wings and beer. Killer pizzas and burgers. 20 Wings for $ 10.99 on Tuesdays and Saturdays. $ 5 pitchers of Natty. Several flavors of wings. College crowd can get a little rowdy sometimes at night, but new owner seems to keep it in check pretty well. Full bar, lots of locals, from blue collar to professors. Families welcome, there is a separate room away from the bar if you desire.

Some mighty good wings in there. Johnny B’s is normally the first place I think about when I want a beer or some wings while catching a game on TV. I enjoyed their BBQ wings and Teriyaki wings with some beer while watching the ALCS back in October. The live band was totally awesome and they did a great job covering Johnny Cash and some of the newer hits from the radio. The staff are nice especially considering how busy the restaurant can get. When I had friends show up from out of town, I took them here because I have fun every time I go there.

Dirty tables, dishes left sitting for a very long time(finally cleared after we had to sit at the table, but the table was never wiped down). Wait staff inattentive, and I’m being generous. Let’s be clear, the place was maybe half full. We watched an entire quarter of football without a single waiter/waitress checking in on us. Would not recommend.

The Pizza Tour did stop in and got the Gyro Pizza. Pretty cool concept. Lamb and beef, tomato, tzatziki, onion, fresh garlic, and feta. I was a little under the weather and only ate two small pieces(they cut the pizza into squares), but it was pretty tasty. Great crust. I will come back and try a big meat-type pizza soon.

We have been through Dahlonega hundreds of times,(our son went to school at NGCSU) and had seen the sign and it looked JUST like the Johnny B’s sign that used to be in Cumming. Well we finally stopped in about a month ago on a rainy Monday afternoon. We sat in the bar area and the locals were congregating. Staff was super friendly. I had a Gold Rush Burger which was SOGOOD!!! My wife had a Gyro which she thoroughly enjoyed. That day she wasn’t in the mood to try their pizza, but 3 days later we did! Great Chicago style thin crust and cut into squares just as I remember growing up there. A week later brought our son and his wife there. They enjoyed the pizza and he has a Gold Rush Burger too which he said was excellent. Beer was cold and cheap and he was driving so I had a few! This is our new Dahlonega place!

Great food and awesome staff! I loved working here where you got the regular people during the day– super friendly and everyone knows everyone, to the college kids and younger crowds at night. It’s a lot of fun especially since its one on the only places in town. Live music some nights, DJ’s on other nights. :))

Johnny B’s is the local spot for the younger crowd of college students. You’ll quickly outgrow it over time, but when it’s not filled with clowns on Thursday and Friday nights, the wings are great on Tuesday night for half price. Their sauce selection is unique and every one I’ve tried so far is delicious!

A loud no-class place with Grease, Fat, Warm Beer and food that I’d never eat, but I’ve tried to. A clientele with too much time on their hands and an offensive owner that is still in business in spite of himself. And I believe there was a police bust here one time for narcotics activity. This place appeals to the lowest common denominator. I live so close I could walk but NEVER go. Most any restaurant in town is a better place.

Great sports/college bar with good food. Voted best wings in Dahlonega for several years running. A long list of wing flavors. Also great thin crust pizza with a wide variety of styles. We got a Loaded Baked Potato pizza last night. So good! I like the Gyro salad, Chicago Dog, and Reuben as well. Cheap beer! Late night brings the college kids, so eat early(well, at least before 9 pm) if you’re planning on dinner Thursday thru Saturday, but stay late if you want to shake your groove thang!

Great wing selection, cheap beer. Huge party scene for the college kids on Thur and Fri night. If you’re looking to drink a lot and dance to the newest mainstream hip-hop w/a young crowd, this is the place for you. And they welcome the NGCSU Men’s Rugby FC!

My wife and I took a vacation to this part of the country in October of 2011 and were driving through Dahlonega after going to see Amicalola Falls. We literally just drove up on it as we were looking for a lunch spot. We love these kind of places when we travel. It is always the local spots that we seek, as we’re trying to avoid any chain restaurants we have in Orlando. This place is definitely one of those local-type spots. We were there on a Friday around 1 pm and there weren’t very many folks in the place at all. Apparently it is close to a college and they do a big business Thursday — Sunday nights. Our waitress was extremely friendly and told us all about the place and provided food recommendations. I had the pizza and it was easily some of the best pizza I have had in a very long time. Supposedly the sauce is shipped from Chicago. Either way it is delicious. It was not thin or thick crust, just about right. The pizza was cut into squares which is a personal favorite and the toppings were fresh and hot. I also had a cup of the chili which I highly recommend. We did see quite a few folks getting take-out for lunch so I’m sure that other items on the menu are equally enjoyable. The waitress did say it gets pretty crazy at night with all of the college folks which is cool because we’ve all been there and we needed spots to party as well. Still, for a lunch spot on vacation this place rocked. Beers were very inexpensive. I believe our 22 oz mugs were 2.50 at the most and they were always ice cold. If you are ever near this place I would stop by just for the pizza alone. You won’t regret it
