Many years ago I took my kids to Dr Golden. My kids did fine with him, but I did not. While in the private consultation room, alone together, he somehow managed to sneak into conversation information about his girlfriend’s physiology (as well as her mom’s) and made sexist comments. He also told me personal medical information about a little girl in the waiting room… totally unprofessional. I tried multiple times to change the subject to MY CHILDREN’S TEETH. I remember that day like it was yesterday; it was traumatizing. Needless to say, I take my children elsewhere. Dr Golden is perhaps a very good dentist. But he’s an absolutely horrible professional.

I scheduled my 2-​year old son for his first pediatric dentist, so I wanted to make sure to take to one specialized in children, I wanted someone who would know how to make him feel comfortable. Bad mistake! I went there and then they TOOK my son from my arms not explaining much while I watched a video. Then I realized my son would have the whole cleaning and x-​rays and who knows what else, WITHOUT me with him. After watching the news a month ago that some kids have been given oral anesthesia from some dentists so they would calm down and ended up dead, IT JUST FREAKED ME OUT, and I said I wanted to be with my son during procedure. The staff said that it wasn’t their policy, and they would go talk to the dentist, and they came back and gave me son to me. No explanation. Very rude! I wonder why they wouldn’t let parents there EVEN if requested. That’s crazy. Now reading the review above, I understand. That’s crazy, strapping kids down. That would make them never want to go back to any dentist. And my son is ONLY 2 ! Wouldn’t even be able to tell me what happened. Terrible experience!

We have been seeing Dr Golden for almost 7 years (3 kids) and all of them LOVE Dr Golden! They always leave happy with stickers, balloons & a treat! The old office was very small but the new one is HUGE! The children still do go in a separate area but the door is glass so you are able to see if you want. They will give you a tour if you like.
The office staff is always very friendly. The dental techs go over your child’s «report card» with you after every cleaning grading on brushing, flossing & cooperation.
We also see Dr Henney the orthodontist here and he as well is very kind!
