McDonald’s

Food is hit or miss. Not a huge fan of McDonalds. They once sold me a mcchicken that actually felt and tasted like cardboard. I’m pretty sure i have gotten sick from their food more than once. And I do not like the set up of the drive through.

Well, after a rained-​out day at the fair, I decided to visit McDonald’s to get a McFlurry. It is rare for me to go to a McDonald’s twice in the same week, but everyone in the car wanted ice cream and this place was on route to home. I was amazed at how many people wanted McDonald’s so late in the night (9:00pm). The drive through line was longer than usual. I got into the drive-​through line only to regret it, because the inside barely had any people in it. It seemed like forever to actually reach the front. When I got to the front I was first amazed at how there was barely any cover over the station and the rain was still getting into the car. The audio system was poor and the cashier and I could barely talk to each other. The cashier also had no clue that Reece’s has peanut butter inside. There was no need for him to correct me. As I was waiting to get to the pay window a semi truck was coming up the entrance. In an instant I knew this would most likely end in disaster. I payed for my order and got my poorly spun McFlurries. Let’s just say that this location has no concept of a McFlurry and makes me question if they know what they are doing. All the «McFlurry» was, was ice cream that looked like it was maybe spun with Oreo on top of the ice cream. They need serious help! When I was leaving I was able to meet the two cars that were in front of me in the drive thru line. The reason why was because the semi truck was blocking the exit. The only way we could exit was to wait for the long drive thru line to move. It took two cars to squeeze through and exit. It would have been worse if more cars entered the one entrance McDonald’s. If they did enter, eventually the line would wrap around the whole restaurant and we would all be stuck in the parking lot until the truck, who didn’t have enough room to exit, himself, could find a way to exit. This McDonald’s process needs to be seriously rethought and maybe even relocated. A good idea would be to go across the street to the old Sunoco Gas Station location. I really need to rethink coming here. If I were you just go to the one in Lake Ridge or a different location!

Bottom Line Up Front: Drive the extra mile to avoid this McDonald’s! To McDonald’s: TAKE SOME TIPS FROM CHICK-​FIL-​A!!!
This McDonald’s obviously needs to replace the managers, because they have NO control over their employees:
1^st Window: RUDE! The employees are extremely rude (I can drive to the first window & not be acknowledged… they literally bark the total, take the card, & hand it back without saying anything else)!
2^nd Window: NO ACCURACY! I have NEVER received an accurate order (NEVER! I wish I was exaggerating, but I am not). The MAJORITY of the time, they ask me what I ordered at the second window. I am not sure if this is due to them deleting the text on the screen in order to get the drive-​thru times down (Complete assumption)? It is the same service at the second window as well (they hand you your food & do not acknowledge you).
I have given formal feedback, but they obviously do not care… I even explain that I do not want a free meal! I JUST WANT GOOD SERVICE (This is the closest McDonald’s to me)!

Today is the last day I will go to this McDonalds since it’s too hit or miss in the drive thru. The workers are friendly but it appears the same individual screws up orders consistently even when there is no line.

Okay, I know I’m being a «Debbie Downer» and «@#$%» today but I really need to write about this place. I use to work here literally 15 years ago and have come here every so often since then because it’s very close and I dont own a car. It’s slow even when there’s not many customers… which is usually the case… One thing that irked me was when some high school kid had the nerve to ask me for money. I make minimum wage right now… and will probably continue to do so for the rest of my life because I have disabilities that are not obvious when looking at me or speaking to me… for example one of them involves mild learning disabilities. I’m practically HOMELESS actually and I mean that with all sincereity! I was working full time hours not long ago but then my hours were cut TWICE and I’m barely surviving. I am not giving ANYONE… A N Y T H I N G. He even had the nerve to stand there for a moment longer than normal and act disappointed. What made me even more annoyed was I did not see him ask anyone else for cash. He just left with his friends after that. WHY IS THAT??? Why ask me and no one else??? I don’t like it when people target others because they look «young» or «nerdy» or female etc etc. Anyway, I needed to vent that. :)

We were pretty excited about the renovations until we realized the parking lot and drive thru are worse than before. –_–
Staff is friendly and get my order right MOST of the time. The occasional mishaps have been corrected quickly.
It’s McDonalds, you should know what to expect.

This location is right down the street from the house and we’ve eaten there several different times. I absolutely loathe this McDonald’s. Whether you go drive thru or inside to place your order, it’s usually wrong about 95% of the time. The drive thru staff is rude, the has only been 1 – 2 polite people that have worked the registers inside that we can remember. It’s a dirty location. I think Headquarters needs to come in and re-​do EVERYTHING! I’ve received plastic bags in my soda, wrong orders, french fries dumped upside down in the bags, wrong drinks, ect. Go to another one, this one isn’t worth it.
Also, like another person said, the parking lot is ridiculous!

Ok, so when you go to McDonalds you know you are going to get mediocre food, at best. This McDonalds HAS TO BE THE WORSE one of them all. I live right down the street from them and have visited many times. I have NEVER gotten a good meal. If you go through drive through, they get your order wrong 90% of the time. If the CRAZY drive through line is too long, wrapping around the building, and you decide to park and go in, (because there is no on inside), you will be treated with the SLOWEST most rude and uncaring employees. And they will get your order wrong 90% of the time. Worse, the food is borderline inedible. Please do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER McDonalds. There is one right down the street at the intersection of Dale Blvd and Minniville.

This McDonald’s restaurant is a very dangerous location. The crazy arrangement has the drive-​through customers trying to drive through the same area that the dine-​in customers have to drive in so I am amazed that a wreck doesn’t happed here every day. The dine-​in area is tiny. I tried to dine-​in one day but was forced to leave as all the seats were taken in the tiny place. For the above reasons I don’t recommend it. Also the staff is too dumb to know the difference between margarine and butter. When I asked if they had butter to go on the pancakes they tried to give me margarine which was labeled margarine and one of the staff got into an argument with me insisting that it was butter. What a moron. But typical McDonalds.
