In the store for 20 minutes and not one person acknowledged that I was even there. No greeting or assistance. Will not be back. Service is horrible.

Was in the store for 20 mins not a single soul(employee) spoke a word to me. Made eye contact but still no peep. Crossed paths countless times and still nothing. I’ve never been so disgusted by the service in there. I’m not at all a needy person at all when I shop. I just would like someone to acknowledge my presence and be inviting in case I have any questions. I didn’t get any of that when I was there and therefore won’t be back. Ever.

This is a funny little store with lots of trendy clothing! I find the very occasional item here, but Halloween costume pieces are abundant! Staff is friendly and eager to help! However, things can be a bit pricey! Great location and the expansion of this location looks great! Certainly not for everyone, but makes for great browsing !

I figured me and my Armani tie were not going to exactly fit in at this store, based on reviews and the limited information I had of «what kind of person shops here» but I had no idea how off I would be. I came in looking for a shirt and I walked out pretty quick feeling like I had stepped into the wrong dimension. This is one of the stores where I could not tell what was the women section and what was the men section. Nothing labeled. No employee willing to offer guidance on where the demarcation line actually was. The only other customer in there looked just as uncomfortable as I was.

I love American Apparel. I love the plain clothes, the spacey staff, the ultra-small sizes, the sex-crazed CEO, and the ugly/beautiful American Apparel models. This is a small AA store but still has a good amount of product. The one thing that kind of chaps my hide is that I wear 2 sizes bigger at this store compared with everywhere else. But that’s kind of its charm. Its very 80s. The clothing designers want you to be thin, thin, thin. Everything I’ve purchased from this store has held up for a very long time. It may be plain but its quality. You can put together an outfit that makes people know you got it at AA, or you can chose something ultra low key. Overall, I’m a fan.

I like their clothing. It’s a good place to find quality, trendy basics for your wardrobe, but way overpriced. The staff on the other hand could use some work. Yes, I understand that they hire people with a certain style, but when I walk in, I would like for the guy that works there to at least be wearing a shirt. Plus i was the only person in there that was actually shopping and they all just looked at me like I was from Mars with the exception of one girl after I had been waiting at the counter.

ever since the northpark one opened i kind of miss this place, they’re a very helpful staff despite the fact everyone thinks they are just a bunch of snobby hipsters, but i mean you are shopping at mockingbird station so what do you expect. all in all i need to start coming back because it is the original place that started my whole aa addiction, thanks mockingbird station THANKS

American Apparel is just one of those stores that you shop at and later wonder why? Can’t I get tshirts, underwear, and socks at Walmart for way cheaper? You could but I still shop at AA. Probably, because this is one of those companies that tries to do right. Not necessarily for its wannabe retail staffers… but for the people who are actually making the pricey v-neck you’re rocking at the local bar. Looking past the prices, AA has solid quality clothing. I’ve worn my tshirts and undies way past typical shelf life you get from clothes bought at «cheaper» places. Shirts are soft and comfy. Everything tends to run smaller here. So, be wary. I do have to note one thing I don’t like — they ask for your email address when checking out and fake that«it’s required for the receipt»…OK yeah right. They will still ring you up if you refuse… you’ll just get some attitude.
