AMLI Knox-Henderson

We cannot say enough good about this place. Management was friendly and helpful, service requests were completed same-​day, new appliances, great location, safe, covered parking.
We definitely recommend it to others!

We have lived here for 2 years and love it! The staff is friendly and maintenance comes immediately if you need something.
We love the area and living near great restaurants and the Katy Trail.

My friend lives here and faces the Northside, while I live across the street from him and face the South side.
What I really like about these units is the underground parking garage. It makes it nice and easy to get in and out of your car when it’s raining or when it’s terribly cold out. It’s ideal for when it’s raining and your are trying to bring groceries in. :)
The residents here are younger, business professional (typical uptown scene), but it makes for a nice and safe building.
I’ve found lost keys on the property once and after contacting management, they nicely helped me find the owners.

Everyone at AMLI has been incredibly helpful and accommodating. The staff is SO nice and friendly. I’ve been here for 2 monthly get togethers with other residents that the office hosts and both have been a lot of fun. The maintenance crew has been unbelievably helpful. I feel like the office really cares about our needs as residents and offers to do whatever they can to make moving in that much easier. They also actually take an interest in your well being. They don’t just say hi. They mention you by name and ask how your dog is after they mention it by name as well.
Along with the office staff the property seems really well kept. We’ve utilized the fitness center a ton and have seen the racquetball and basketball courts getting a fair amount of use as well. I’m excited to try the sauna next!
Overall, this has been an amazing move for us. We are happy with our space and location. The only thing we are changing is the paint and even then the office has given us a great contact who is very reasonably priced.
**I will say make sure you ask about pricing for painting because your unit will not look like the model. The model is painted VERY nicely whereas the units are painted a «neutral» paint. It’s all the same light tan (yellowish) paint throughout and matched the carpet too much. It’s all the same shade so we are definitely painting. Also, the only model they have is for a certain floor plan, so make sure you see a unit that matches your layout.**
Bottom line, I feel like our complex office has the type of people that are perfect for this industry. They are fun, passionate, friendly, supportive, patient, and honest. They make living here very easy.

Quite enjoyed my experience living here. Polite management, wonderful location, the highway nearby — location can’t be beat. Downside is the property looks a little old and could be upgraded.

I just moved in and i must say I am beyond impressed with the staff, the facility and the service. There was a lot of coordination required as I was selling a house and the apartment unit I wanted was occupied then was renovated. Nova and her group did a great job helping coordinate all this and, I might add, exhibited a lot of patience in handling my numerous requests and questions. The unit was ready as promised, the move-​in was a breeze. I had several very small maintenance requests and they were handled so promptly that, in one case, the maintenance staff was at my apartment BEFORE i even got there from being in their office!
The area is perfect, with I’m guessing dozens of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance — no driving home from the bars if you live in this area — and is centrally located near downtown, public transportation, and SMU.
It was a big decision to sell my house and begin leasing an apartment but I am so glad i did and glad I connected with AMLI.

I lived at the AMLI in the Knox-​Henderson area for two years and really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly, and they responded to all of my maintenance requests in a timely manner. There were lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Overall, it was a great place to live!

Loved living here! The people working here are awesome — Jennifer, April, Desiree, Dave and Gabriel. Always very responsive and we never had any issues with our apartment. Premises are always kept clean and expectations are always set with regard to any maintenance issues on the property.

My experience living here over the past year has been great! It is a fun but quiet community and the staff and maintenance men are very helpful! I love the underground parking garage and there’s lots of street parking for visitors! There are lots of fun bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Also since the complex is right beside highland park, it’s a very nice area and I feel really safe. Plus the Katy trail is like rt outside. It’s an ideal spot. My actual apartment is very nice. I have had a few maintenance issues but all the repairs were made quickly and I was not inconvenienced. I’m living here again next year and if I stay in Dallas, I will keep living here! It’s a great place!

Really enjoy the Knox Henderson area, and part of the experience has been attributed to living at the Amli. The staff is friendly and responsive, the grounds well kept, and I appreciate the workout facilities! It was important to me to find a place off the ground floor, and the staff remembered that when it was time to move out of my corporate temp housing. I now enjoy the view on the 3^rd floor!
The response time to resolve maintenance issues has been great — resolved quickly and professionally. And the community activities such as wine tasting and the serving up breakfast treats on the way out the door makes this feel like true community living.

I moved into the Amli a year ago. I am moving to another city due to a change in job but otherwise would love to continue living at this complex and in this area.
The apartment complex addressed any maintenance issue reported in a timely manner and did routine checks on our apt. fire detector, air vents, and pest control. There is no longer a ‘gate code’ and you have to use a swipe card thing to get in. Trust me, besides luck it is physically impossible to get in without it. There is also security there now at night patrolling the parking garage. I feel safe walking home at night and getting into the complex. The apartment is not expensive, and I believe I got a lot more than what I paid for. The staff was always friendly, followed up on questions or issues, and was rational about issues that may have come up.
The Knox-​Henderson area is amazing. You dont have to deal with the uptown douche hype and can go out and have a drink and dinner all on the same street. Knox Street Pub, Corner Bar, and Cretias is in walking distance as well as other eateries and bars. There is also the Katy Trail and HP to run or cycle through.
I have read the other reviews. If you are depending on full entertainment by the residency you choose… good luck. This place puts you in a lively location at a good price and allows you to enjoy what Dallas has to offer.

Well, I only live here part time. Basically, when my friend is out of town (about 50% of the time), I stay here and pet sit for her. She actually got a prettty good deal on her apartment a while back, but for the most part, these apartments are grossly overpriced. When I looked at a one bedroom, it was almost $ 1100. Hmm… hello? This is NOT NYC! I understand that they are in a nice location, but I’ve found MUCH nicer apartments in the area for MUCH less. However, it is nice being able to ditch car and walk to Chuy’s, Victor Tango’s, Starbucks, and The Katy Trail. They do have a pool and work out facility, but do not have a hot tub or nice area to walk your dog. My other huge complaint is the lack of people who do not clean up after the dogs. However, I can’t blame them. The apartments have no trashcans outside for you to throw the poo away. When I walk my dog, I have to take the little baggie inside and throw it in the one trashcan near the mailboxes. Overall, a good place to live, but overpriced… even for the area.
